1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2109].
3. Now as we find, there are conditions which have prevented and which do prevent the better normal physical functioning. We find that these have been rather a growth, or of long standing; and arise in the primary or first cause from the lack of elements in the chemical forces of the assimilating system - through same gradually abating or weakening the efficiency in the functioning of organs as related to their activity, as well as producing a pressure gradually upon the glandular forces of the body.
4. These, then, are conditions as we find them with this body, [2109] we are speaking of, present in this room:
5. First - in the blood supply we find low vitality in some respects; that is, there is a variation in the numbers of both red and white cells AT TIMES. Hence there is primarily a form of anemia, which has arisen and does arise from the lack of the assimilating elements as related to the activity with the system - as indicated.
6. Hence we find at times a very quick pulsation, at others a very badly distributed circulation - with the inclination for portions of the extremities and parts of the body to become minus, as it were, in the superficial circulation; through these deficiencies in the organs' reaction, as well as the system's supply.
7. In the nerve forces - here we find the natural reaction from a disturbance which has hindered at times in the activity of the glands as related to kidneys and liver, as well as the lungs and the throat and bronchi. These as we find, throughout the experiences, have varied according to the activities of the body from the MENTAL angle, and the
2109-1 Page 2
physical body from the purely pathological angle.
8. These continue in the present to become at times rather as an uneasiness in the imaginative or sympathetic forces of the nervous system. Yet the body physically and mentally may stand a great deal of nerve tension that to others would at times becomes overwhelming.
9. As to the functioning of the organs and their relationships to the disturbances which have been and which are a part of the hindrances (for these are rather as a dis-ease than as disease in the physical forces) - we find:
10. Brain forces and their reflexes are good. There are good imaginative forces, as well as the abilities to concentrate; though there have been times recently when the concentration has seemed to be as something not wholly cooperative in the reflexes through the mental activities of the body.
11. These in the organs of the sensory system have become at times acute, from the natural reflexes in the abilities of the mental forces and their reactions - from the body's sensitiveness to influences about it as well as from within the physical body itself.
12. The throat, bronchi and lungs, from the very nature of the elements lacking, have caused and do cause at times the inclination rather for tiredness, languidness, the tendency to become easily irritated - and yet lacking in the ability, through the proper oxidization or sufficient oxygen, to supply or to purify the deficiencies in the blood flow; though ORGANICALLY not disturbed - sympathetically and reflexly disturbed at times.
13. In the digestive forces - here, as being the sources and the channels through which greater distresses have come to the body, we find more of activities in the liver as related to parts of disturbance; especially through its excretory functioning, though the spleen and the pancreas have oft been an aid to the system rather than a hindrance, in the disturbing conditions which arise.
14. The lack of that element which has so long been a part of the condition - CALCIUM - has SLOWED the circulation through this portion of the system; and thus those conditions which exist that have caused and that do cause disturbance.
15. As to the activities of the lower hepatic circulation, - with the conditions which reflect through the circulatory forces from heart, liver and lungs, we find that the kidneys - or the lower hepatics - suffer under these disturbances; and at times become excessive in the amount of the uric forces in the system.
2109-1 Page 3
16. Thus we have periods, or have had, when pressures of these acid influences produced in the system cause acute conditions for extremities, as well as the abdominal disturbances.
17. Then, in meeting the needs of the conditions for this body:
18. We find that these would be best met - not only for relief and correction, but for enabling the body to regain more vitality, more strength needed for the better circulation - through the hydrotherapy treatments as would be applied by one who uses rather the hot and the cold applications. With such there would be the stimulation through massage and corrective forces along the cerebrospinal system, to equalize the distributed energies from both the cerebrospinal and the sympathetic nerve system to the activity of the organs through the body. We would give these applications of massage and hydrotherapy about twice to three times a week, until ten or twelve such treatments are taken; then the periods between such applications may be lengthened.
19. Then, to work with the stimulation created by the massage and hydrotherapy treatments, we would also use these:
20. Use the low electrical vibrations OF THE BODY, which may be done effectively through the application of the Radio-Active Appliance. This will enable the body to become quiet easily, to overcome those tendencies at times of restlessness when attempting to sleep. Attach this to the body whenever it is tired or fatigued, for twenty to thirty minutes. Let the Appliance be in the ice, and the applicators or wires attached to it, for five or ten minutes before it is attached to the body. Keep the attachment plates clean and polished, before and after using. When taking it for insomnia, or to enable the body to rest, make the attachment when ready to retire - for an hour.
21. Take internally small quantities of CALCIOS (which is calcium in a form easily assimilated). Take this at least every other day, and at times every day; about the quantity as might be spread upon a wafer or cracker just as butter would be.
22. Take also plenty of the fruit juices, and these would be combined juices, rather than those separated.
23. Eat plenty of vegetables, both raw and well cooked. Not too much of meats, but fish or fowl or the like may be taken if desired.
24. ALCAROID taken after the meals will be found to be helpful when needed - that is, when there is too full a
2109-1 Page 4
feeling, or any unpleasantness through the stomach or abdominal area. It is not necessary that this be taken each day, but ONLY at those periods when the body experiences - as it has experienced - that there is an uncomfortableness after eating. Then take half a teaspoonful, first dissolved thoroughly in a small quantity of water, and then the glass filled with water; drinking also as much of another glass of water afterwards as is possible.
25. Do these, and as we find we will bring better conditions for the body.
26. Ready for questions.
27. (Q) They say my thyroid glands are atrophied. Is this the condition? (A) Rather, as we have indicated, they have been SUBJUGATED by the lack of the elements in the system to assist in keeping them in a normal activity. But with the use of those properties indicated, and these kept consistently and persistently, we will find that these will become more and more normal. And, most of all, let the mental attitude be in that way of not only being good, but good FOR something! For, remember: Of all the glands of the body, not even excepting the reproductive glands, the thyroids are the most SUSPECTING as well as the most EXPECTANT! and the attitude of the body-mind has much to do with their functioning. Consequently, to accept a theory - or a proclaiming that they are entirely atrophied, would HINDER thoroughly the ability to INDUCE the necessary forces which arise form their functioning! There would be no hair on the body, nor fingernails, nor toenails, if they were atrophied!
28. (Q) I have many headaches at the back of my head. Is my backbone affected? (A) Rather these are reflex conditions, as indicated. If there is the application of the suggestions here made, we will find relief for this body.
29. (Q) Will these applications straighten out my digestion? (A) They will, as has been indicated. Use the Alcaroid when needed. But keep up the Calcios, and the applications of the Radio-Active Appliance; and the hydrotherapy with the massage for the periods indicated - longer if it becomes necessary.
30. We are through for the present.

See leaflet [which was enclosed] regarding the Radio-Active Appliance. It may be that you can secure one of these through one of our members in New York or in Norfolk. This might be accomplished through Mr. Hugh Lynn Cayce. Calcios is manufactured by The Colloidal Health Products Corp., Greenvale, Long Island, N.Y., atten. A. A. Nichoson. It is a syrupy paste that sells for $2.50 a jar. According to the Readings, it is the best way of taking free calcium, easily assimilated. Alcaroid may be obtained from your local druggist. At your convenience, please let us have a history of your case to the time of obtaining the Reading. This is valuable for our records, as it gives us something with which to compare our information.) ormation.)
