1. GC: You will give the relation of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the entity in the present, and that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as or called [2116].
3. The entity should wear the emblem of the harp - yea, the Irish harp.
4. In giving the interpretations of the records as we find them here, these are chosen from same with the desire that this be a helpful experience for the entity in determining that purpose for which the entity entered this experience in the present sojourn; and thus fulfillthat as may make for a growth in the soul urge.
5. For, each soul manifests that it may become a channel through which there may be expressed the ideal which is set in creative energies and forces as manifested in the man Jesus. So may each soul grow in grace, in knowledge, in understanding. For, His promises are sure; to those who walk in that way in which the life, the manifestations in relationships to others, bring hope and creative forces of a spiritual import in the experience of self and others.
6. Such may at times require sacrifices upon the part of self, yet KNOWING WHY, and the purpose for such, these should become not as burdens, but as He gave, "Take my yoke upon you and learn of me, for my burden is light" and easy to those who seek to know His way.
7. The astrological aspects, we find, indicate the very nature, the very characteristics - as of water as well as both adverse and benevolent influences in the activities
2116-2 Page 2
through sojourns in Venus.
8. Thus we have found the experience of both good and bad; yet NEVER satisfying the desires of the relationships in the material activities. Yet these relationships are those forces, those influences that make the material experience even worth while, oft. But if such are only for the aggrandizing of selfish emotions, or for activities in which self alone is thought of, they become stumbling-stones. If such relationships are kept ever as those forces that enable the entity to see the beautiful, the hopeful, the helpful, the creative influences in the experience, then - though the material activities may be denied, the mental and spiritual influence needed for the awakening within the experience of the entity's urge will become as the greatest help in those periods when discouragements arise, or those forces that have brought disorder may bring peace and harmony.
9. From the Uranian sojourn we find the experience in which the entity has been to the extremes; though the abilities of body activity in rhythm SHOULD have been, or should be, one of the means for at least an outlet of the body's emotions, - either through the dance or the rhythmic motion in aiding others to develop physically through such activities. However, the home, and the secretarial activities arising form the urge for data gathering in one form or another, become channels also through which greater service may be rendered and greater associations may be had in the material affairs. These, if they are kept upon the spiritual basis as to purposes and aims, will be the outlets for greater material, mental and spiritual developments through this sojourn.
10. That extremes will arise from such is as a part of the experience - as we will see in that variation between the EMOTIONS of the body and the spiritual concepts of the body.
11. As to the activities from sojourns in the material plane, we find that these have been oft. Hence the entity may be called one of quite an emotional nature, and yet deep in its thought, its study, it interpretation, its activities with others, and the abilities for the entity to become a real leader in the affairs of groups or the associations of various characters or natures. Yet the entity finds itself always depending upon an ideal. This has not at all times remained as a definite thing, or definite experience for the entity.
12. But know what is thy ideal - physical, mental, spiritual. Know the ideal relationships with individuals, as well as the ideal activities in the material sojourn, as well as the ideals for the mental concepts - whether for
2116-2 Page 3
recreation or for study or for instruction; that all emanate from a constructive, creative influence.
13. For, if they become that as may be satisfied in material associations, they will only become dross and stumbling-stones, and not ideals but only ideas that may be satisfied. For the spiritual forces are not so much as to what others may do for thee, as to what ye may do for others!
14. As to the appearances in the earth, then:
15. Before this the entity was in the land of the present nativity, the present sojourn; during the early settlings in the land, when there was the first establishing of a great deal of shipping, or the activities int which consideration was given for exports and imports. Through the channel of activity the entity brought both good and bad influences; for it was not long in that activity until there was a great deal of controversial conditions arising regarding who was to supply the channels for activity, as well as to who was to be paid for gathering the materials that were shipped.
16. Hence shipping, exchange, those things having to do with such, oft have a part in the experience of the entity; though may oft take forms in those things that represent relationships to individuals as well as the manners that are to REPRESENT such activities in their dealings one with another.
17. Then, detail at times becomes drudgery, yet the entity requires a great deal of same within its own experience. But, learn the law as to that ye sow being also that ye must reap. Ye cannot build upon those influences in the experience to the detriment of another. For the law of the Lord is perfect, and it adjusts, it brings the cooperative forces in the activity in EVERY phase of the life. Just as it is necessary for the better influences of the body for each organ to coordinate with another, so must the purposes and the relationships with individuals; and NOT as were some portions of the entity's activities in those periods, as Amos Dowell.
18. In that experience the entity lost, the entity gained, the entity lost. Thus we find fears, doubts oft arise, even to that point to which the entity may distrust itself. But know rather in what ye heave believed, and who is the author of same, and that he is able to keep thee through any experience. Such ye will find in the study - yea, the application - of those tenets presented by Him in HIS relationships to man and to the world!
19. Before that the entity was in the French land, during those periods when there were the first attempts of groups
2116-2 Page 4
from that land to gather in defense of an ideal.
20. The entity was among the wives who were left, and were mistrusted as to their relationships with others. These experiences brought for the entity a great deal of condemnation, upon others as well as upon self; and yet in the latter portion of that sojourn the entity GAINED - for it trusted not in self nor in others but rather in Him who is able to keep those forces, those activities, in that way - in the relationships with others - as to bring harmony, peace and understanding.
21. Then the entity was in the name of May Hiedkelm. In the experience the entity gained. In the present we find relationships both material and filial, in which questions as to those things that were pronouncements through that sojourn are being met within the present.
22. Before that the entity was in the land known as the Promised Land, when there were the activities in which there were those returning to the city of promise for the building up of the walls of the Holy City.
23. The entity was among those of the young who were of the household of Zerubbabel, later becoming a companion to the scribe and the priest with Nehemiah.
24. There we find that the entity interpreted for the young, as well as the abilities for the dance, or for the exercises that brought to the peoples of the period a better physical development.
25. Hence the entity has a liking for those things that have to do with the exercises in the open - having an interest in all forms of calisthenics or athletics having to do with body development. All of these are a part of the entity's innate as well as manifested experience in this present sojourn, and can be, may be, paralleled with the activities and teachings of the entity through that sojourn, through the periods of the rebuilding and the replenishing of those peoples in a holy land.
26. The name then was Jarel.
27. Before that the entity was in the land known as the Egyptian, during those periods of reconstruction, when there had been the turmoils and the strifes which had separated the peoples and caused the rebellions.
28. The entity, though, was among those who returned with the Priest from the land of banishment, and was among those who aided in the activities in the Temple of Sacrifice, as well as in the Temple Beautiful; acting in the capacity of the keeper of records for not only individuals and their development from period to period, but also as to the moneys expended, and as to those things obtained from activities or
2116-2 Page 5
groups and individuals so associated in those influences.
29. Hence again we find the abilities in that direction in the present. But the greater influence through that experience was in the home building influences.
30. Then the entity's name was Har-She-Un.
31. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, and that to which it may attain, and how:
32. Remember, "He that would be the greatest among you will be the servant of all."
33. But in whatever field of service the entity chooses it may excel, if it will but keep those ideals that are the basis of self as well as beauties, as well as general development towards relationships with others, and the creative energies that may be applied in its experiences with others.
34. Remain in the present environs, so long as there may be help given by self as is needed to bring greater hope of spiritual and mental development for self and associates. And these will gradually lead to outlets - those that will bring the HOME for the entity that is so desired.
35. Be patient, for in patience ye possess your soul.
36. Ready for questions.
37. (Q) What is behind my feeling of depression and discouragement? (A) As indicated, these feelings arise from the self-effacement that is self-condemnation. Condemn not others, and not thyself. Leave that thou canst not do nor understand to HIM, who is the Giver of all good and perfect gifts. For in Him ye live and move and have thy being. Do not engage, in mind or body, in that which brings condemnation to self.
38. (Q) Is my love for Mr. [...] wrong (the man for whom I work), when there is nothing on his side except perhaps a feeling of respect and "fondness"? (A) As has been indicated, hold FAST to that! It will bring thee harmony, and peace; not satisfaction - that ISN'T to be desired; but that of harmony and peace.
39. (Q) What should he mean to me, or what place has he, if any, in my life? (A) The ability to bring those influences that will make for harmony in the experience. Do NOT cast it aside!
