Time of Reading 4:20 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York, N.Y. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes. Now, we find while there are - and have been - disturbing conditions in the physical forces of the body, that which is being applied is making for the corrections of that which has made conditions acute. We would not change from these until the conditions are entirely relieved, but there should be precautions that there is builded in the system that which will replace the vitality and virility necessary for the body-physical to enjoy the better forces of life, and nature, and to make for a better channel of expression for the physical, the mental, and the spiritual abilities AND developments for the body AND the entity.
2. These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body, [2121] we are speaking of:
3. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, this we find very good in many respects. There are those evidences of how portions of the system, in the replenishing and rebuilding of vitality for the organs of the system - especially in the regenerative forces and genitive forces of the system, have been under strain; as evidenced also by the conditions where the lack of the proper distribution has made for those forces that produced a prolapsus in the colon, that has given - and does give - some distresses in the manner of the eliminations through the alimentary canal. Also there are those pressures that, with the effect produced in system, bring about those effects of the soft tissues of the body to be lacking in their essence of virility - which makes for those tired, strained feelings that come over the body under a physical or mental strain, as well as that which is indicated from the disorders that HAVE existed (and are bettered, but show effects of same) in the soft tissues of the head.
4. These, then, as we find, are the effects, after effects, and also causes, of those things in the physical forces of the body, that PREVENT the perfect or NORMAL functioning of
2121-1 Page 2
the body of [2121] we are speaking of:
5. IN THE NERVOUS SYSTEM, we find there are those PARTICULAR centers that have had to become OVER active in the distresses that have been existent, and we have tenderness or soreness - as indicated near the waist line. Not exactly over the kidney area; rather a little lower, and a heaviness through this portion of the body. This, as we find, not so much of the area being impinged, or even out of alignment, as of the ganglion and ganglia in the 12th, and the 1st, 2nd and 3rd lumbar area, being an attempt to create the sufficient impulse to respond to those conditions that have disturbed the body in this area, FROM which the system - and the ORGANS of the pelvis and of the digestive system - RECEIVE their impulses. Also we find in the nerve system the opposite condition, as it were, existent in the lower portion of the CERVICAL area, where - through the sedentary activities of the body, in a manner - the mental STRAINS have existed at times through the activities of the system, and there are the tendencies of an expression of tautness - that prevents the active forces of the body as related to the eliminations, and the proper circulation to the head, neck, eyes, ears, nose, and the like. Hence these organs all UNDER various stresses make in the specific organs of the sensory system disturbances, at times. These are rather of the periodical nature; not at all times.
6. In the effect this general condition has produced in the FUNCTIONING ORGANS OF THE BODY:
7. Brain forces are active; good.
8. Sensory forces, as indicated.
9. Throat, bronchials, lungs, larynx - these are very good; expansions are good, as is the activity of the respiratory system - unless UNDER a strain, either from the upper or lower pressures in the cerebrospinal nerve system, whether reactory from the condition in intestinal or in the organs of the genitive system, or those from the kidney or that of the hepatic circulation. These make for those of heaviness, and tiredness at times. Easily does the body AT TIMES become fatigued; at others able to work under high nervous tension with seemingly no reaction, save not much to eat or much digestion. This is a working, as it were, ON high nerve tension - and better that it doesn't!
10. The digestive system and heart's action are very good, save at some periods.
11. In meeting, then, the needs of the conditions we find for this body, we would not change - we say - until the eliminations are completed in the specific conditions where treatments are being applied; but we would begin and
2121-1 Page 3
occasionally - either once a week or three times a month - have a general thorough massage, that will relieve those pressures along the cerebrospinal system, taking those of the electric and the tepid water and salt rubs that will make the eliminating SYSTEMS coordinate perfectly, keeping the alimentary canal - especially through the colon - cleansed by the use of the colonics when necessary. Under the present conditions these may not be, but when these are changed then we may find these will prevent a tendency of heart's action, or the pressure in the blood supply will be kept nearer and more normal. At such periods also it would be well - that is, when these treatments are given, see - that the body have a thorough work-out; not so much the activities of the body as the one ADMINISTERING the treatment, who would work out ALL the manipulative forces as to the DISTRIBUTION of pressures in system, and for the activities of the locomotary areas - especially in the lumbar, and the upper dorsal and lower cervical, or the brachial area.
12. Do that, and we will find we will bring a normal condition for this body - which should bring about a better mental and physical reaction.
13. Ready for questions.
14. (Q) Is there some direct cause for tired or exhausted feeling on awakening in the morning? (A) As indicated, these exhaustions occur either from the reaction of those EXHAUSTED and enlarged ganglia in the lower dorsal and lumbar area, or from the tautness - that may come from one and then may come from the other - in the cervical and upper dorsal area. These feelings, or expressions of weariness, may be given in this way and manner: At one time this comes from the upper pressures, when there will be the feeling of a heaviness through the head and the neck, and throat dry. When it comes from those areas in the lower dorsal and the lumbar area, the feeling is as of heaviness in the TORSO area, and the feet as draggy, and stretchy does the body feel - see? These conditions, then, as we find are rather as indications that there are disturbances. With the applications of the massage, the general exercising of those forces that make for coordination in eliminations, these will disappear. Now, in speaking of eliminations, we do not mean in the alimentary canal alone! but through the respiratory system, through the kidneys (Beware that we do not have disorders there), and through the perspiratory system (or the sweat glands), as WELL as through the alimentary canal. Keep these COORDINATING, and keeping the drosses from the system
2121-1 Page 4
- we will find the system will respond.
15. (Q) Should these treatments be begun right away - the manipulations and baths? (A) These, as we find, had best be begun when they are nearer through those applications that are being administered for these specific conditions, as indicated.
16. (Q) What electrical treatment was referred to? (A) Electrical baths, which are as of the pin or the needle baths, you see - not from ELECTRIFIED water, but rather that that PRODUCES the electrical SHOCK to the system with the application of hot and cold water - as well as the needle baths.
