1. EC: Yes, we have the entity and those relations with the universe, and universal forces that are latent and manifested as personalities in the present entity known as [2126].

2. In entering the present experience we find the entity coming astrologically under those influences known as Venus, Jupiter, Uranus and Neptune. As we find, these have their influence in the present experience as these sojourns in those environs bear upon the inhabitants or the individualities of entities in their passage through earth's experience. These influences are tempered or magnified by the environ in relationships to these through earth's sojourns that act as (that known as) hereditary and environmental (as in the psychological) influences upon the mentality of an entity.

3. In Venus, then, we find those tendencies making for a pleasing personality manifested; easily does the entity make friends; the natural inclinations of sympathy, of patience, of those elements or attributes of an UNDERSTANDING soul; for the entity may indeed be termed an old soul.

4. These influences also, tempered with those in Uranus and Neptune, make for that tend or trend for the body-soul consciousness to be in the position - when disappointments arise, when lack of confidence arises in many of the associations, when those conditions as of the air of mystery surround the associations of the entity, when there are and will be periods that there must come the analyzing as it were of relations - that the entity loses not the faith and hope that has prompted the action of such activities manifested under Venus' influence in the experience; when

2126-1 Page 2

the entity must turn more and more to the spiritual life for its basis of understanding; hence while in the formative years of experience, the formative years of associations in the mental and material things, well that thought be given to those basic principles that are the essence of, the formation of, those impelling influences, that the faith may rest secure in ideals that are basically practical in the mental experience of self.

5. In Jupiter comes those affluences of associations in great numbers, peoples both of high and low estate, affability of the entity to meet individuals or to act oft independently under the stress of circumstance.

6. Uranus and Neptune make for the interest in the occult and in the mysteries of life, of experience. These, tempered with the spiritual foundation, may bring the ability of the entity to meet the needs of strained conditions, strained relations, strained circumstances, whether they be in the marital and home relations or in the friendships that are made from time to time. Remember that the Uranian influences make those abilities for the entity to be much in the position of (that is termed) being able to SENSE conditions, able to be that known as mediumistic, psychic, or INNATELY conscious of conditions. These are GOOD when tempered with practicality and the correct valuations of spiritual truth.

7. Those conditions in Neptune, WITH Uranus and Venus, make for peculiar positions and conditions in the affections that may be manifest by the body. Once understood, once grounded in the basic forces of the source being in spirituality, rather than in a cism, ism, or that which is the mystery without a practical basic force or foundation, greater will be the advancement of the entity.

8. These in their combined influence, as impulses for the personality in its application, are:

9. One that EASILY makes acquaintances [become] friendships.

10. One that is affable to all.

11. One that is sympathetic, kind-hearted, easily moved to tears, easily made mad; yet controls oft the temperament by the turning within.

12. One that is wise, not in conceit but rather in experience.

13. A natural tendency for love of the young; naturally kind-hearted to the aged; affable in associations with individuals of all walks of life.

14. One easily at times FOOLED, or made sport of by the minds of those that take advantage of such temperaments. This for the moment may cause a heart pang materially, yet

2126-1 Page 3

if the basic force that prompts such activities are founded in spiritual truths, these will rise above all such slights.

15. One that will be the natural home maker, yet these conditions - with their varied surroundings - will bring the very great sorrows in material things.

16. One capable in any capacity that needs or requires the PLEASING personality, the affability to conditions, circumstances, things and places.

17. PEOPLES interest the entity rather than things, but those things that INFLUENCE the thought and actions of people are of interest to the entity. These should be courted, studied oft in the entity's experience and development.

18. As to those conditions that affect the entity in the present as environs through the appearances in the earth's plane:

19. In the one before this we find in that land known now as the middle or central west, during those periods when there were the settlings of the land in the raids made. The entity then was among those that dwelt in what would now be known as the eastern portion of the state called Indiana. Then the entity brought much help to many, during those periods when the entity (then in the name Jean) and associates were driven from their lands. With those fleeing from the Dearborn fort, the entity crossed over into that portion of the land now called Kentucky, settling then in the north and eastern portion. This particular portion of the land in the present is of particular interest to the entity, and near to or in this environ would the entity find that the GREATER ability and blessings would come in the present experience or sojourn. Then, as in Cincinnati or Newport or the like would be the environ that would bring a much greater satisfaction than in the east, west or southwest, during this present experience. From this experience we find these as the influences:

20. The abilities to make the best of whatever position in which self finds self, or to use whatever is at hand for the best interest of the present period, or to make the surroundings and use them in such a manner as to bring the better conditions for associations or relations.

21. The entity gained through the experience, then, yet always that something of a dread oft hung over the entity. So in the present is there a fear that hangs in the inner self from making, or when making decided changes in its relationships with individuals; yet constantly is there a drawing of the entity's abilities and associations to individuals that are prominent, near-famous, and such

2126-1 Page 4

associations.

22. In the one before this we find in that period when there were the attempts of the peoples in the land now known as the Grecian to demonstrate, or to give in play and acting the interpretations of the legends that influenced individuals' lives. The entity then was among those who sought to be with those; not so much as the actor or actress, but rather as the interpretator for those who in their peculiar abilities gave such actions or such of themselves to carry out the activities in this particular sphere. The entity then was in the name Xenia, and was with those peoples who first wrote and first gave those one act plays, as they would be called in the present; hence the interpretations of reading, the interpretations of that written, the interpretations of that intended to convey to another the thoughts and activities of individuals, are a capacity for the entity of NATURALNESS.

23. The entity gained and lost in this period; gained through the abilities to give to others that of aid; lost when they were turned into the aggrandizing of self's own person, self's own position, and there arose that fear through this experience that becomes active as a latent force when associations are changed.

24. In the one before this we find during that period when there were the disturbing forces in the land now known as the Egyptian, when there was the banishing of that portion of the people through the activities of individuals in the land, and when there was the falling away of those that followed in the teachings of the priest who gave the understanding. The entity then was among those that attempted, in the place of the altars, to give the interpretations of that intended to be cleansed from the physical bodies that the spiritual and mental might find an access, a channel for activity.

25. The entity lost and gained through the experience, as Ha-Riazel. In the uprisings the entity was torn between self and that gained, and the associations of the priest and the attendants in this period; yet gaining with the re-establishing of this period of developments for man and man's sojourn, in becoming rather the example than the interpreter of an ideal.

26. In the present we find the feeling innately of the necessity for the correct background, yet the tendency for the putting aside of the greater duties for the moment, looking rather for the more convenient season when there may be more of the opportunity. Should not the entity learn that, he that would have must give? They that would show

forth the basis of tenet or example must live that they KNOW! As the application is made the basis OF the spiritual comes to be understood by the applicant. Not by chance, not by might, but by every word that pertains to those laws that govern the experience of man through this physical sphere.

27. In the one before this we find in that land known as the Atlantean, during those periods when there were the breaking up of the lands following the destruction of the southernmost portion, in the first eruptions, when there was the journeying of many to the various lands. The entity then was among those who journeyed to that portion of the sphere now known as Yucatan. The entity rose from the small child then to the priestess in the temple there; and the entity gained and lost through the experience, in the name Yda-dia. The entity gave much to the peoples in beauty and developing of home life, of the ritual life, of the spiritual understanding in this changed environ; bringing much that later made for the closing of selves to the outside world, yet this was not that given by the entity - rather the interpretation made of the entity's activities by the priest Allai who rose later.

28. In the one before this we find in that land known then as the upper Atlantean, during those periods when there were the entering of many that took bodily form for the dispersing of the thoughts given by the lords of the land. The entity was then used rather as the experiment in the associations with the various conditions, and brought much that to the present way of thought or mind would be abhorrent; yet the ENTITY gained through the experience, for it kept close to that which sought to find the expression of the spiritual forces, and brought forth in the body that one who later BLESSED the land - in the name of Enoch.

29. There is the necessity in the present, then, of bringing to self the greater necessity for finding in self the basis for that thought, whether mental or material; for MIND IS the builder. If the thought is directed in those channels that consider most the material things, then carnal must be the outlook. If the thought is directed in those lines that consider first and foremost that the greater command to men in all ages, places or climes has been that the Great Spirit of Truth is EMINENT, IS in the forefront, then the building must be that which is of the sure foundation - that is found in Him.

30. Keep, then, in the way that leads to understanding; for the Spirit GIVES understanding and freedom. CARNAL thought (and self) brings contention and discord. The way is before thee. Much has come to thine own understanding. Keep the

2126-1 Page 6

faith of the fathers. Know that through looking within may one find the answer to all the problems, whether they be in this, that or the other phase of experience. Do unto others as you would have others do unto you. Love the Lord thy God, eschew evil; for this is the whole duty of man.

31. We are through for the present. [GD's note, left out of original copy: As GC was starting the suggestion for waking EC, he spoke: "HARK, all ye that are here; for in this period may ye in watching close see the entrance again of the entity, as the body lies here, and in the seeking has it been drawn far from the vault [JT's note: Readings which EC did at his home were done next to the vault containing previous Readings]. Watch as it hovers near and enters, as the light of the body."] Copy to Self " " File *
