1. GC: You will give the relation of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity, and that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: (In going back over years from the present - " - '20 - '19 - '18 - changeable and interesting life! - '17 - '16 - '15" - etc., on back to birth date.)

3. Yes - we have the records here of that entity now known as or called [2131].

4. In interpreting the records - unless there are those precautions regarding the vitality of the body, the activities, the expectancies and the hopes may come under the influences of fear - to really become appreciated in this experience.

5. So, adhere rather closely to those activities which have enabled the entity to arouse the harmonious self from within to a more harmonious materialization in the physical.

6. In interpreting the records as we find them, these are chosen with the intent and purpose that this may be a helpful experience for the entity - not only bringing the assurances of the abilities in specific directions, but the helpfulness - through the manner in which such may be presented.

7. Know - whether in music, art, song or verse - that which is creative in its aspect, and which reflects such desires in those who may behold, or be interested, or be aroused to an analysis, is that which becomes strengthening and beneficial in the experience of the entity who prompts such to become a materialization.

2131-1 Page 2

8. Also know that hate, jealousy, animosity, fear and the like, create that environ, that animation, which - as it comes into material manifestation - brings doubt, heartaches, tears, disappointments. Oft one may question self as to why, or as to how such and such could have come upon self, with all the high-minded ideas that may be expressed. As has been indicated, that which we are indeed speaks so loud, seldom is there heard what we say - other than of a creative and constructive nature.

9. Thus it behooves the entity, in the present, not only to study to show self aware but capable of giving proper evaluations as to needs in the mental, the spiritual and the material experience of dealing with the fellow man. For with what measure you mete, it is measured to thee again. Thus in whatever an entity may profess, the manners of activity bring about that, according to the consistency and persistency in same.

10. If there would be brought those experiences in which the entity itself may measure up, in this experience, to all with which it has been entrusted in any individual sojourn, then it must be consistent and persistent in that direction.

11. As to the urges latent and manifested with this entity, we find the astrological aspects not in those forms as to make for a great urge. Not that there are not spiritual as well as mental emotions, but the urges from the activities of the entity in the material sojourns have made the entity supersensitive to environs. And whether that environ be wholly material or of high mental equations, these become as pricks to the consciousness of the entity ofttimes.

12. Then, as indicated, study to show self approved unto God, a workman not ashamed, and correctly dividing the words of truth.

13. The relationships through material sojourns have been many, according to the ordinary viewpoint. Hence there are a great many conflicting urges arising, that in part may be said to overlap one another. Thus in materialization, and activity, they become at times confusing.

14. As to the appearances in the earth - these (while not all) are given that there may be a judgement, an analysis of that which has prompted direct activity in these experiences - and the urges that have brought same not only into the mind, as it may be said, but in the active forces as in relationships one to another.

15. Then, in same, heed that injunction which may be a part of self: Be not unmindful to entertain those even who may appear not physically, mentally or materially necessary in thy experience. For many have entertained angels unaware.

2131-1 Page 3

Also, be not unmindful that the manner in which ye meet the issues in thy relationships to thy fellow man is the manner of relationship that ye INWARDLY bear, as an entity, and manifest towards, thy Maker.

16. Before this, then, the entity was in the English land, when there were those preparations on the part of many who would free themselves from political as well as ecclesiastical judgements.

17. The entity, as we find, was engaged in those activities which bring a deep latent urge in the present to become not only a writer but a depicter of times and circumstance, and as to what the reactions of individuals are towards such experiences - by thy own judgement of same.

18. Thus we find the urge not only in the fields of art, literature and song, but of those natures that in song partake of the folklore of a vicinity, a state, or even a campus. Yet, as indicated, there needs to be the translating of those influences from such, to bring to others the more awareness of the divine within.

19. The application of self in these directions brings the need of remembering: "Day unto day uttereth speech, night unto night sheweth knowledge."

20. Then, the application should be not merely for material gain, but as a channel of help to many - as it was throughout that sojourn in the English land, as Sybil Hastings.

21. The abilities in song as well as in verse, to depict the lives of others in all walks or environs, become a latent power in the present experience.

22. Thus, through the associations and affiliations with those with whom the entity came in contact then, who are affiliated with the production or the expose' of such in the present, there may come the channel for materializing the abilities into an expression to become a helpful influence in the experiences of others.

23. Before that the entity was in the Grecian-Roman land, when there were those activities that were translated - by those who were gifted with the power of such - in story, in song; as to arouse within the lives and experiences of others an appreciation of the harmonious effect, not only of verse or rhythm but of activities of the body in association with same to give that stress upon the various forces intended to be expressed.

24. Hence we may say that the entity was among those of Grecian origin who became active with the Roman folk of the period in furthering such experiences in the lives of others, in the masses and classes, and the variations which

2131-1 Page 4

would cause them to give voice to their emotions - whether as to the memory of individuals or conditions, or as to those who were to be endowed or empowered with the spirit of growth; so as to arouse those in various walks of life as to their duties, their obligations, as well as ideals within self and self's relationships, and ideas of a divine influence in the experience.

25. The name then was Quilla - a man, yes - that is, of the opposite sex from the present; and gained through the experience.

26. Thus in the present we may find the abilities to write, not only story in song or in operatic metre or air, but to depict the characteristics of individuals of certain sections, or certain environs, throughout any given period or experience.

27. And these may be used as stepping-stones for greater advancement in every walk of life, and for greater harmony; unless such as might and power would make for the independence such that natures that bespeak of means of exchange would become the god or the ruling force within.

28. Before that the entity was in the Arabian and Persian land, in the 'city in the hills and the plains.'

29. There the entity was among those who were of the plains peoples, and who added to the activities in the city in the hills the various forms of composition in music - in such ways that it might be applied to arouse the spiritual-mental self to react upon the mind and the physical self for rehabilitating not only the cellular forces within the system but the purposes and aims of the inner self as well.

30. In that sojourn the entity advanced much. And such may be a part of the entity's experience in the present - in the abilities to AGAIN bring creative forces, creative objectives, creative desires - not merely for gratification of the emotion of self, or habits, but for the greater spiritual forces, that each soul may fill that purpose for which it entered a material experience.

31. The name then was Essendahrn.

32. Before that the entity was in the Egyptian land, but from the Atlantean land - for the entity, it may be said, was the sex leader of the peoples of that particular group who came into Egypt. Thus the revelry of same, as well as revelry physically in same, was a part of the activities of the entity in associations and affiliations with the individuals of that experience.

33. Thus turmoils were brought about, and many of the Natives as well as the sojourners there insisted upon those activities being tempered. Hence the necessity for the

2131-1 Page 5

Priest to be returned for activity came about by those turmoils which arose, or were caused by the entity's influences in those particulars.

34. In the latter portion, the abilities for what later in the experience of man's walks of life became known as the operatic airs, the folklore music, and the hymns and psalms, all were a part of the entity's expression.

35. And the same in the present may be a part of that activity in which the greater material, as well as greater mental and harmonious experiences may arise - but they will come, even as then, through sacrifice, as well as constructive purposefulness in the idea and ideals of the entity.

36. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, and that to which the entity may attain - there come those ideas, those influences and forces as we have indicated. Hold fast to that which has been indicated should be, as it were, the chorus of the purposes and ideals - to show self approved unto God, a workman not ashamed.

37. Ready for questions.

38. (Q) Is it indicated that my music, now being considered in Hollywood, will be accepted? If so, when? (A) With a little more changes will be accepted. There will be the necessity of some changes, but should be accepted in the present year.

39. (Q) Is it indicated that my new song, "A Toast to New York" will win success? What can I do to further it? (A) Partially so, win success. Only, as we find, in making or insisting that individuals who have a wielding force or influence in the experiences of others become the channels, it might be said, to propagate same. Change a portion of same to more constructive forces.

40. (Q) Shall I sign a contract with the manager in New York (Spencer Driggs) who wants to further my work? Please advise me regarding him. (A) Very satisfactory, provided the policies are not all given WHOLLY into his hands - but with the privileges of SELF doing the correcting and not others.

41. (Q) Is it indicated that either of my operas will be produced on Broadway, or in Hollywood in motion pictures? (A) In 1941 - yes, in Hollywood. Do that as has been indicated, in making ideas, purposes, ideals coordinant; not longfacedly nor somberly but joyously - being joyous in the spiritual things!
