Time of Reading 11:10 to 11:25 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., N.C.
1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2158].
3. As we find, there are disturbing conditions which prevent the better normal physical functionings.
4. These have primarily to do with the assimilating system, though the involvement which has caused the disturbance involves the functioning - and sympathetic reaction to - some of the organs of the body.
5. Then, these are the conditions as we find them with this body, [2158] we are speaking of, present in this room:
6. In the blood supply we find a character of impoverishment, which has disturbed and does disturb at times the abilities of the system to build resistances in the body. This is causes by the affectations in the assimilating system, or the digestive forces of the body; and these cause those conditions which involve the liver and the gall duct - as relate to the activity of the lower hepatic circulation.
7. Hence it is through these areas where the greater involvements produce conditions which are as the basis or the sources of the disturbances; and the correction here will alleviate many other minor disturbances which arise and become at times as acute reactions in the body.
8. As to the activities of the nerve forces - here we find that the affectations is TO the nerves, rather than the nerves being the cause or the source of disturbances.
9. Hence we find a weakness which occurs at times, the inability for the rest or to obtain relaxation or recuperation through the periods of rest. This arises from a fagged nerve system, produced by strains upon the liver and the gall duct, and also from adhesions which have
2158-1 Page 2
occurred in the right portion of the body - especially close to the caecum area, and where those activities between the jejunum and the colon indicate their disturbances to the system.
10. This deep condition with the liver arises from superacidity, and the lack of the assimilating in the system of certain characters of foods; and the lack of the ability of these to add to the replenishing of the depleted forces as caused by the form of anemia in the blood supply, is the result of these very conditions themselves.
11. As to the effect upon the organs of the body:
12. Brain forces, brain reactions, are good.
13. Organs of the sensory system show the effects of conditions that have been a part of the depleted force. Hence those conditions that become acute at times, bringing supersensitive activity to the vision, the taste, the smell; and the activities of same that are the reflex forces in the nervous system of the body.
14. In the lungs and larynx we find impoverishments and at times weakness, which allows cold and congestion to have the effect upon the body-force itself; but no organic disturbance.
15. The heart's activity, from the very nature of the disturbance in the liver and hepatic circulation at times "acts up", as it might be termed; though this, too, is a sympathetic condition and NOT an organic disturbance; it is sympathetic from the disturbance in the liver and the kidneys themselves.
16. In the activities of the digestive forces we find the basis or source of most of the disturbances, as indicated, which have arisen and do arise in the body at present.
17. For some time there has been a subluxation existing between the 6th and 9th dorsal. This has at times affected the pancrean activity of the system; and this excess flow, and the subluxation existing, the flow of the circulation through the portions, allowed the conditions which affected the assimilating or digestive system, involving the activities of the liver, the spleen, the pancreas, and ESPECIALLY the gall duct area.
18. From an injury which has occurred, we find that there are adhesions in the lower portion of the abdominal area, - about the caecum. This becomes the involvement at times.
19. As to the effect upon the kidneys - here we find the ATTEMPT of the system to care for the disturbances in the upper hepatic being an effect rather than a cause; though at times the distress and disturbance here becomes a drain upon the system - but if this were not an outlet we would have a
2158-1 Page 3
great deal more reaction upon the lymph activities of the body-forces, and more acute conditions from a form of muscular reaction - or rheumatic or arthritic or neuritic tendencies. There are only the reflexes of same, as might be said, and a stiffness which occurs from the inability of the system to care for the poisons that have been as accumulations through the system.
20. In making for corrections, as we find - there may be material aid brought to the body. This will require some patience, some persistence, and the adherence to those needs for certain elements as needed to aid and add to the system, as well as to the diets themselves.
21. First, as we find, we would prepare a compound, in this manner:
22. To 16 ounces of Distilled or Rain Water, add 2 ounces of Garden Sage. Reduce by slow boiling to 8 ounces. Then add, in the order named: Gordon's Gin.....................4 ounces, Ambergris (dissolved in 1 ounce of Alcohol)..................15 grains, Cinnamon Bark (preferably in the stick)....................1 dram. Put 2 ounces of Strained Honey in 2 ounces of water. Let this come to a boil (skimming off the refuse) and add to the solution.
23. Shake the solution well before the dose is taken, which would be a teaspoonful four times each day; before the morning meal, AFTER the noon meal, before the evening meal, and when retiring at night.
24. Also:
25. We would have corrections, osteopathically made, in the area indicated; coordinating the lumbar axis, as well as throughout the cervical area, WITH the corrections in the 6th to the 9th dorsal area.
26. Low electrical vibrations of any form will be helpful LATER - but NOT during the time the compound is being taken when we have indicated for the digestive system.
27. If acute pain should occur (which at times has been an indication, in the right portion of the abdomen), we would apply the Castor Oil Packs; that is, two to three thicknesses of flannel dipped in hot Castor Oil (not the oil just poured on) and applied directly to the body; using an electric pad or heat so as to make for absorption. Keeping these on for about an hour will relieve those tensions and inclinations for gas to form at times. The next day,
2158-1 Page 4
following the use of the Packs, take internally about a tablespoonful of Olive Oil. This will cleanse the system.
28. And, with the combinations as indicated for the digestive system, and the osteopathic corrections, we should bring much better conditions for this body.
29. Ready for questions.
30. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file (See extra sheet of directions [which was enclosed] for preparing the Compound, in case you wish to let a druggist prepare it for you. If you have trouble securing the Ambergris, we suggest that you try Eimer & Amend, 18th St. & Third Ave., New York City. See extra sheet of directions [which was enclosed] for Osteopath. Please let us have the name and address of the one to whom you go for treatment, so we may put him on our mailing list of doctors who have had experience with following these Readings.
