1. GC: You will give the relation of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity, and that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes.

3. (In undertone: "Something confusing with it - " Then, as if arguing: "We do or we don't - ")

4. We have the records here of that entity now known as or called [2160].

5. In giving the interpretations as we find them, these are chosen from the records with the desire that this is to be a helpful experience for the entity; enabling it, in the analysis of same, to realize the purposes for which each soul enters a material experience.

6. Oft it may appear hard to understand why such and such has to be, or is the experience, with the attempts to keep in line with that the entity hopes to accomplish. Yet, if there is the proper consideration, each will realize that in whatever state one finds self it is that necessary for making each a better channel to magnify, in his or her own experience, the glory of that which is the ideal of the entity.

7. Thus, as one analyzes self, one realizes that there are things spiritual, things mental, things material. These that appear from the unseen in the mental and the spiritual realm are not always given voice to, but one realizes - by analysis - that one has not thought right nor expressed self in keeping with that which is the desire, the intent, the purpose of the spiritual concept.

8. Hence one of those influences which should ever be first

2160-1 Page 2

and foremost is consistency, as well as persistency.

9. And know that the ideals must ever be of a constructive, creative nature, if there is to be harmony, peace, or even a semblance of material success.

10. For, whatever ye sow, that must ye also reap.

11. And each entity is in the present the result of that it has done ABOUT that it claimed as its ideal in other experiences!

12. Thus we find oft conflicting influences.

13. Then, in relation to this entity - while there are urges arising from the astrological as well as earthly sojourns, we find in this entity's experience there is little of the astrological nature that would be in keeping with what has been, or is in the present, ordinarily designated as the influence from the astrological aspects.

14. Yet there are abilities, there are virtues in the entity's desires and hopes and aspirations. However, these have not always been chosen well in the present experience.

15. Thus we find oft the desires of the mental self grow to be much larger than that materially accomplished, in its associations with others.

16. The abilities for the imaginative experiences, the imaginative influences, those having to do with relationships with others, have been and are an ENORMOUS experience through which the entity has lost sight, or failed to see the possibilities of, in the present application.

17. For, the abilities as a writer, as one to give emotion, to give animation to those influences and things having to do with relationships in every form or manner of life, have found, and may yet find, expression in the writing; not only books and short stories but articles pertaining to the influence of various phases of man's experiences as related one to another - as the effect some great labor saving device has been in the lives of individuals as mothers, housekeepers, through the aid to such - in this particular land; also as to the variations which have come about in the experiences of this or that individual in particular walks of life owing to the thought of some mother, father, brother, sister, uncle, aunt, or the forethought of such in designating the manner in which not only their savings are to be used but as to the activities to be brought about in the experience of the young.

18. For, how oft has the entity contemplated, in its associations, as to what manner of life or direction should be taken! But remember that all of these should be, "As ye would that others do to you, do ye even so to them."

2160-1 Page 3

19. Thus the ideal is builded. Thus there arises the manner, the chance, the emotion, the awakening, the awareness of the relationships being brought into the experience.

20. Just as the entity finds Venus the ruling influence in its emotions as in relationships to love affairs, love associations, love activities; yet partaking of these in such ways and manners that have not been in keeping with the ideal the entity has boasted of, nor has the entity held itself to same all the way through.

21. The associations and activities in Jupiter have been and are the most benevolent influences. Thus the opinions formed by the entity in its activities among its associates, or the masses, or as to classes of individuals with which it may be associated, have had to do with the impetus of its activity to a great extent in the material affairs.

22. These at times have been strained - at others they have brought the periods of hope.

23. As to the appearances of the entity in the earth, we find that there have been periods of sojourn close together, and others with long lapses between them.

24. Before this, then, we find the entity was in the land of its present nativity, during those periods when there were the disturbances between the North and South in the land of nativity.

25. Then entity was one who acted in the capacity of finding and indicating information which would be beneficial or helpful for one of the sides in that undertaking. This in itself brought into the entity's experience that which was oft condemning.

26. Thus we find in its own experience in the present, irrespective of what others have said, the entity condemns self; though in the same breath may be boasting of that it is capable of accomplishing. And these have brought about experiences or things of the nature that have apparently been underhand, in comparison to the entity's better activity or development. For what ye sowed, ye also will reap. As ye have confused, ye will be confused. IT IS THE LAW! The law will NOT pass away, save as each soul fills, fulfill, same in meting to others that it lacked in other activities.

27. Let thy prayer oft be, then: "Use me, O God, for others; for others' sake!"

28. In that experience we find the entity gained and lost; gained materially but lost in self and spiritual development; hence is meeting self in the present.

29. The name then was Jane Jamerson. The activities brought

2160-1 Page 4

the entity into the lands of Virginia, Tennessee, Kentucky and Alabama.

30. In the present from that sojourn we find the dealings with peoples in those particular spheres of activity will BROADEN the entity's vision of possibilities in the activities of a mental, spiritual as well as material nature.

31. Before that the entity was in the Grecian land, during those periods when individuals were being sent for those activities in the 'city in the hills and the plains.'

32. The entity was beautiful in body, and given to those things not only pertaining to rime [rhyme] but the abilities to instruct others in the development of same, as well as in the bodily forces and bodily activities being strengthened for material gains as well as to create desires in the minds of others that might be either constructive or destructive within the experience.

33. Then the entity was among those chosen to undermine the activities of that city, but the entity soon returned to the Grecian land when it was indicated more to the entity the purposes and that expected of those who were thus chosen to be sent into the land.

34. Hence we find that things pertaining to security, home, fireside, relationships, activities, endeavors, all have a peculiar and a fascinating interest for the entity. Turn this to spiritual things, as well as to material or mental accomplishments, and we will find that there may be made a unison of purpose so as to make for more harmonious experience through its dealings with its fellow men.

35. For as the body, the mind and the soul are one, so purposes, aims, desires - here and hereafter - all are one.

36. So live, then, each day, that ye may present your body, your mind, as a living sacrifice, wholly acceptable unto thy Maker; one not ashamed, but keeping the faith thou hast and dost profess in thyself, thy neighbor, thy God.

37. In that experience the entity was known as Mercedi.

38. Before that the entity was in the Egyptian land, during the periods of reconstruction. The entity gained, the entity lost; for it was among the Natives who were taken unawares by those individuals who attempted to change things, coming from the Atlantean land. Hence there were turmoils through the entity's experience; yet in the latter portion we find there was the willingness to pass through the fires of self-effacement in the Temple of Sacrifice, that there might be the better channel for the propagation not only of ideas but of the material and spiritual manners of expressing the hopeful influences in the experiences of

man.

39. The entity gained, then, through the latter portion of the sojourn; in the name then Is-Ma-Si.

40. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, then:

41. These are in the fields of activity materially pertaining to writing; but in those fields in which there is assurance or surety for some portions of man's activity, - these should be the basis for the actions in the present.

42. But writing, expressing large emotions - physical, mental, spiritual - should be the outlet; for it will give the entity the greater harmonies in this particular sojourn.

43. Ready for questions.
