1. HLC: You will give the relation of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalties, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity and that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: (In going back over the years from the present - " - '36 - yes, changes - '32 - preparations - '30 - " etc., on back to birth date.)
3. Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as or called [2163].
4. In giving the interpretations of the records as we find them here, these are chosen with the desire that this be a helpful experience for the entity in the application of itself in its relationships to individuals, conditions, things; that this may be the experience in which greater developments may be had, and in which there may be accomplished - in greater part, at least - the fulfilling of the purpose for which each soul enters a material experience.
5. When there is the analyzing of those influences about the entity, we find that irrespective of what the entity has done or may do about same, the influences especially as relating to stones and the activity and vibrations arising from same would be beneficial for the entity in its application of self towards whatever activity may be chosen. Hence we would wear especially the bloodstone, cut in the form of a triangle, though ovaled on its edges. This about the body brings that vibration which will be beneficial; not
2163-1 Page 2
merely as a "good luck" charm, not merely as something upon which to depend, but as an influence, a vibration about the entity.
6. For, each soul, each entity, has within its inner being the sum of what it has done, is doing, about its relationships to the whole. And this is the stone to which the entity vibrates. Thus it is a helpful force physically, an encouragement to the mental, and vibrates upon the real or inner self.
7. From the astrological aspects we find the influences not wholly in accord with the ordinary indications from such, but these are influences that may be applied. Thus they are as signs, as indications of the direction in which the vitality of the body-physical, the temperament of the body-mental, may be applied.
8. Thus we find Venus, Jupiter, Neptune and Uranus becoming as the greater astrological aspects, BECAUSE of the entity's indwelling in the environs OF SUCH (as generally accredited to such) during the interims between the earthly sojourns.
9. Hence we find one highly given mentally to the artistic temperament; that is, the abilities to depict that of the nature which brings the emotions, the feelings of individual activity.
10. And through the Jupiterian sojourn we have the broad expanse of association and activity; so that in this present year and in the coming year there should be the advancement to the entity's greater opportunities in this present experience. Not that this entity or any other is to rest upon that which IS attained; for each activity, each opportunity becomes a greater unfoldment in the experience to minister, to give to others that which is ennobling, hopeful, in their own activities - as to be the more helpful to them.
11. For each soul - as indicated from the love influence as well as the benevolent influence in associations with others (Jupiter and Venus) - enters into activity through a material sojourn not only for a mental and material development but for a soul or internal growth also, in its relationships to that purpose which it is to accomplish or fill.
12. For, to be active only for self-indulgence, self-aggrandizement, selfish emotions, or for the power that may be attained through such activity, is only to fool self and defeat the purposes. And as each soul sows, so must it also reap, in whatever environs its activities are meted, - whether mental, spiritual or purely physical or emotional.
13. From Venus we find not only the love force and the
2163-1 Page 3
emotional force, and the artistic temperament, but also the activities in which the self is inclined toward activities in the higher emotional natures of individuals. Thus in those fields where there is the activity for the depicting of same, not upon canvas but rather as with the voice, the body emotions, and all of those activities that may be termed of the emotional nature.
14. Also the Jupiterian influence indicates that such activities will be among the masses, for the masses.
15. From Neptune we find the activities pertaining to the stage and to activity upon airways, waterways, or such as would have to do with the water signs; as related to others as well as to self.
16. The Uranian aspects present the influence of the unusual, the sudden changes, the very high and the very low; which will depend especially upon the application the entity makes respecting that it sets as its ideal.
17. Hence, the injunction would be to first find thy ideal, - in the physical, in the mental, in the spiritual; and then so live, so act in thy relationships with and thy dealings with others as to bring to fruition those ideals in the experiences and activities of others.
18. For, he or she that would be the greatest among the fellow men, among the fellow associates, ministers the more oft to the MENTAL needs of others; not so much the material, though material expression may be oft indicated, but rather in that so oft quoted, yet so oft misinterpreted, "As ye would that others should do to you, do ye even so to them."
19. As to the appearances in the earth, we find - as indicated from the emotional nature - there have been many influences bearing upon the entity in the present; for these have been quite varied in their relationship to the present environs as well as to the entity's activities or relationships with others.
20. Before this, then, the entity was in the land of the present sojourn, during those periods when there were the activities in which there were great attempts to depict the emotions; from poems as well as plays, as well as the first Shakespeare depictings or developments in and about Baltimore, Washington, Philadelphia, Cleveland. All of these were the great centers in which the entity made the greater portion of its material success in those periods.
21. The entity was in the name then of Masie Heckel, but was known under other nomens during those periods of activity. In that experience the entity gained, the entity lost.
22. And in the present from that experience it will be found that conditions arise in which decisions are to be made as
2163-1 Page 4
to just what form, what characterization would be the better for the entity to apply itself to, in the greater emotional activities; as to whether to include more of the dramatic or of the ridiculous, or more stress upon the greater body-emotions.
23. Hence we find an entity good of voice, good of figure, good of bodily adornments, in the abilities to give expressions through such actions that bring the emotions of others into play in such a manner as to give them an understanding of the tempo or principle of their own emotions, their own selves.
24. These are the fields, as we find, in which greater opportunities and expressions may be found in the present sojourn.
25. Before that the entity was in the French land, during the periods of the early Louises, that brought opportunities for the students of the dance and those activities as related to court functionings, which were a part of the entertainment and of the activities used partially for political influences.
26. We find that these brought for the entity those experiences in which great advancements were made, owing to the entity's holding to those principles, those purposes in which it lent itself, in that they must ever be of the creative nature as to bring hopeful influences to the minds and experiences of others. Never did the entity let itself, even under those extreme experiences, be led into subtle activities that would confuse others.
27. The name then was Marces Celia. The entity gained throughout, owing to the intent and purposes throughout its experiences.
28. Hence we will find in the present certain characterizations having to do with French diction, French activity, will be of special interest to the entity; as well as those activities in which the dances of those early periods are a special adaptation to the entity, not only in keeping its body better fit but in its general associations and relations in a better activity.
29. Before that the entity was in the Persian or Arabian land, during those periods when the Grecian maidens came into the "city in the hills and the plains."
30. The entity was among those maidens who were chosen to attempt to deflect the activities in that "city in the hills and the plains." Yet, with the entity's activity among those of the various lands that took part in the activities of that city, the entity lent itself more in those activities as the nurse, and the care for the young - as a
2163-1 Page 5
teacher, as a director - under those influences of the leader or teacher in those environs.
31. Hence in the present we find things pertaining to the oriental, especially the oriental dance, become a part of the entity's expressions or emotions - and offer a channel through which the entity may bring material gains - through such activities. As to whether these are turned into very constructive or destructive channels depends upon the entity's purpose and application.
32. The name then was Ecmela.
33. Before that the entity was in the Egyptian land, during those periods in which there were the greater emissaries sent into other lands, because of the greater development in the activities between the Atlanteans and the Natives, as well as the Priest.
34. The entity entered into the Golden City. There we find that the entity rose to one of power, as a princess in the land - not of the Gobi, but as one associated with same, in what is now the Indo-China land, or Siam, during those periods. The entity rose to power not only because of its filial associations but because of the marital relationships and activities, and also because of its abilities gained from those counsels and activities in the Egyptian land.
35. There we find that the entity gained, the entity lost; there the entity found much of that indicated to which the entity responds in its vibrations at present.
36. The name then was Princess Zulam.
37. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, that to which it may attain, and how:
38. First, as indicated, keep the mind open; keep the body fit. Know thy ideal; apply same in the spiritual, the mental, the material associations - and they must be one, and consistent one with another. For, so may there be overcome those influences which would hinder or prevent the greater advancement in the present.
39. As to the fields of activity - those that have to do with the development of ideas in the minds of others, especially as related to THEIR activities in the mental AND material relationships one to another.
40. Then, never condemn self, any more than self would find other than helpful forces in its relationships with others.
41. For, unto Him who is the Giver of all good and perfect gifts, keep thy ways so that ye condemn not others nor thyself.
42. Ready for questions.
43. (Q) In what particular type of work will her career be most successful?
2163-1 Page 6
(A) As indicated, that in which the emotions of the body and the mind are depicted for the entertainment and the instruction of others.
44. (Q) What about training of her voice? (A) As has been given, keep the body fit, DEVELOP the voice FOR the greater expression - whether in song or in abilities as a reader, as an actress, as one upon the radio or the like. This IS well, and necessary.
45. (Q) What about her marriage? (A) This should NOT be for keeps until late in the experience. Finish the career first.
46. (Q) What about her family responsibilities? (A) These will care for themselves if there are the activities in those directions indicated. These will NOT be a drawback, if there is the development in those fields of activity outlined.
47. (Q) Are there any particular individuals, or groups, with whom she should cultivate an association? (A) Any of those that hold to tenets not as of living but as of activity in RELATIONSHIPS to the living, that deal with the Persian or the oriental activities - or the French.
48. (Q) What about her work for the realization of higher consciousness? (A) This will be the natural development of that which is the chosen field. For, innately - as from the material sojourns as well as the astral - the entity is a "sensitive" or intuitive individual. And, as indicated from the Uranian sojourn, it forms opinions easily; then as easily changes oft. But the development within must be the answer to the ideals the entity chooses for its mental, its spiritual, its material advancement. For, the answer must ever be within. And it is not as to who would come from heaven or from over the seas to bring a message, for lo it is within. Through the entity's experiences in the earth it has gained and lost, depending upon whether the applications were for the many or whether they were for self-indulgence or aggrandizement. As the Princess that ruled the many, the entity gained or developed the greater forces, the greater abilities to awaken to the emotions of the higher realms within; as it also did during the experiences when it lent itself in physical labor during the Persian and Arabian sojourn when the entity was a Grecian, though beautiful in body and in the abilities to bring all the influences of an emotional nature into the experiences of others. Also in the land before the present, the entity gained the abilities to use the voice, the body-activities, to bring the awareness of
2163-1 Page 7
the beauty of words as well as of the emotions in the higher forces of each individual. Hence, look within - for there He has promised to meet thee. Keep thy body in the activity in which it is indeed the temple of the living God; there He has promised to meet thee, and it is not merely as a casement for the aggrandizings of purely physical emotions but mental and spiritual development also, that others - too - may know the living way, the life more abundant which is in Him, the Giver of all good and perfect gifts.
