Born September 12, 1859, in Newport, Rhode Island. Time of Reading 11:10 to 11:55 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City.

1. HLC: You will give the relation of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity, and that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions, as I ask them.

2. EC: (In going back over years from the present - " - '98 - changes - " etc., on back to birth date.)

3. Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as or called [2166].

4. In giving the interpretations of the records here, many phases of this entity's record would be worth MUCH to those who oft find themselves troubled as to circumstances and conditions, and especially those who so oft are feeling sorry for themselves.

5. But to give the interpretations as we find them here, - these are chosen with the desire that this be a helpful experience for this entity; yet those about the entity in the moment may learn a lesson from this entity.

6. In choosing that as will be indicated, we find that what the entity has done about its ideals, its purposes in the present, speaks much more than the mere inclinations that are indicated from astrological aspects or from earthly sojourns; though one may easily find indicated that thread of truth, as the entity has applied in its present experience and present sojourn, of a continuity of intent and purpose - also that which has ever brought and ever will bring helpful, hopeful influences into the experiences

2166-1 Page 2

of all; the desire to be in an at-onement with the Creative Force in its relationships to man.

7. And its dealings have been in that way and manner as to demonstrate those tenets, those truths - yea, those laws pertaining to such, "As ye would that others should do to you, do ye even so to them."

8. Irrespective of what the environs or circumstances have brought into the experience, the entity has looked upon such, and hoped, wished, acted in that manner - in its dealings with its fellow man - as it would that there be shown unto self. Not as one attempting to impel or control without a purpose, but in a manner in which it has attempted - through its voice, its abilities, its purposefulness - to bring into expression, into the experiences of others, that as would give a more hopeful outlook - as in its music; in its abilities to create, manifest or express the GLADNESS in the heart; that others might take hope, might put away FEAR and know that God is in His holy temple, let the earth and the earthly things indeed keep silent!

9. Not that disappointments have not come to the entity; not that individuals have not broken their word with the entity; yet in its experience, in its dealings with others, the entity has so lived, so acted, as to indeed merit that which is the promise of the GREAT COMMANDMENT, that carries with it the first promise from the Maker!

10. Then, who is thy mother, thy brother, thy sister? He that doeth the will of the Father!

11. Hence the entity has manifested and brought hopeful, helpful experiences to others; through its abilities manifested in its art, its temperament, its artistic activities, its musical temperaments; its abilities towards interpretation of verse, of song, of music, of nature and its relationships.

12. Hence the entity has thus enjoyed, and does enjoy in its experience among its fellow men, not only respect, not only worshipfulness and respect, but LOVE - love that maketh the world of men's affairs more harmonious, that puts away hate from the heart and mind.

13. Thus the entity attempts to give that activity into the experiences of others in such a way and manner that they, too, may know the freedom that such brings in its experience.

14. That astrological sojourns have had their URGE is indicated, but little of such becomes of great meaning in the experience of the entity. For, as indicated, much MORE is brought by that which the entity HAS used and applied of its abilities through its sojourns in the material plane.

2166-1 Page 3

15. Thus, the entity has experienced in this sojourn a great EMOTIONAL life - through those periods of associations where sorrows from every phase of man's experiences have touched the entity; yet the entity has raised its voice (though at times appearing to self as weak) in hope that is found in those promises of the truth expressed in, "Be ye faithful unto the end, that the joy of the Lord may indeed be thine."

16. FEW have so expressed this in and through their periods of temptation, their periods of sorrow and disappointment, their periods of GLADNESS and the enjoyment of the good things of life; yet the entity has held these as the principles, the purposes, the aims - from which ALL, every one, may take and learn a lesson - that INDEED the good things are those that may not be bought with the specie or gold or silver. While these are judgments or measures in the material associations that are necessary in dealing with one's fellow man, that which brings happiness for which the world cries; that which brings harmony for which people are calling; that which brings peace among brethren of a household, a city, a nation; lies not in the seeking of such.

17. For, as has been indicated, it is the love of that power and might which such gives that brings sin to the more individuals, to states - yea, to nations, and to those in political power.

18. Though the entity has seen and experienced in its associations the feeling of same, it has tempered all in such relationships, in its dealings with others, with mercy and judgment.

19. Thus the entity finds itself now in those periods of activity in which it may look back upon its sojourn in this material plane and say, "Lord, thy humble servant hath kept thy promise. Keep thou, show thou, the way."

20. This is indeed one in whom many, many may take thought, and learn to pattern their lives, their ways, by that counsel which the entity has given, does give, as it meets those in its relationships day by day.

21. Thus may the entity in these periods of activity in this sojourn give help and hope, and YET bring to fruition - by the counsel to others - the helpfulness that lives on!

22. For, know - only the growth in grace and mercy lives forever. ONLY such is eternal - love that passeth understanding!

23. And to create hope and harmony in the minds and hearts of those ye meet day by day is that purpose for which each soul enters a material experience.

2166-1 Page 4

24. Thus does it grow to fruition by or through the seed of the spirit of truth.

25. As to the appearances in the earth - we find these have been quite varied, and quite far apart in some, yet quite close together in others, as may be indicated by the periods of activity.

26. Before this the entity was in the French land, during those periods when there were rebellions in the land, when there were those activities that had been known or heard of that brought those influences and forces into the land of the entity's present nativity.

27. Hence the entity, with some of its kin in those experiences, journeyed to the land of the present nativity; in the name then Jean Paulusa de Lafayette.

28. In the experience the entity gained; for as it sought for itself, for its fellow men, the spirit of freedom of speech, the freedom for the worship of God according to the dictates of its own consciousness, so did the entity encourage those of that period and of that land.

29. So did the entity bring into fruition a land that bears the stamp of those who may bring greater and greater knowledge to a sin-sick world.

30. Blessed indeed are they who harbor and manifest, in their dealings and relationships with their fellow men, God's own purposes with mankind.

31. Thus may the entity find, in these experiences and these stirring times when there are men MAD for power, that might which comes in the still small voice within of "Keep thine own skirts clean! Condemn not thy fellow men that ye be not condemned!"

32. Thus may the entity find that those turmoils and strifes, too, will pass away, and only love and hope and harmony remain. For out of turmoil and strife, as the entity saw and experienced, has grown a hopefulness that has provided and does provide shelter under the wings of Him who has given, "Be ye perfect, even as thy Father in heaven is perfect!"

33. Thus may the entity take hope, and bring into the experiences of others - with its abilities as were gained in that sojourn - the right of each individual to give the expressions of itself in a HELPFUL, HOPEFUL way and manner.

34. Before that the entity was active in those periods when the Master walked in the earth; among those of that land where strife had arisen, and where the peoples of the land had hoped for a redeeming power in the affairs of the peoples of promise.

35. As the entity was among the holy women in the temple, it

2166-1 Page 5

brought comfort and consolation, and proclaimed ever to the peoples of that period, "Harken to the voice of Him who has called, If ye will be my people, I will be thy God! Turn ye to that way in which ye may bring AGAIN the sunshine of God's purpose among this people!" This was the message the entity gave.

36. And as the entity had prayed, as the entity had lived that it might indeed see the day when that promise was fulfilled - thus when the mother, Mary, presented the babe in the temple, the entity blessed same, and saw that face!

37. Thus we find in the present experiences of the entity the periods of the call to those to look deep within their own hearts to find His face. For He is not afar off, but within thine own heart, thine own conscience, if ye will but open the door of thy purpose and thy way to His! For indeed He answereth those who call on His name, and LIVE same in their dealings with their fellow men!

38. So the entity gained through that experience, not only by its waiting upon the activities in the temple in the Holy City, but as it ministered to the peoples in many of the lands thereabout, through that particular sojourn.

39. The name then was Ananan.

40. In the present from that sojourn we have the visions which have been a part of the experience, as the entity has attempted to put nature into song, or has attempted to depict upon china or upon canvas or with the pencil or brush the harmonies in God's NATURAL laws among men, and how they bring harmony, and how that the clashing of same is but man's feeble attempt either to override or to follow same. These have been a part of the experience of the entity.

41. Before that the entity was in the Persian and Arabian land, in those activities within the schools of that leader or king in the Persian land.

42. There the entity was acquainted, as the sister superior (if termed in present day language), with the purpose for which the teacher in the 'city in the hills and the plains' brought to man hope from physical disabilities, hope for better environs for their children, hope for an after life of harmony and peace.

43. Thus we find the entity in the latter part of its sojourn became affiliated with those activities in the 'city in the hills and the plains,' with that phase known as the teaching and the hospital activity.

44. Though the entity was acquainted with the attempts of the Grecians to undermine, though it was acquainted with the rebellious forces among its own peoples and the nomads, yet the entity remained true throughout its sojourns to those

2166-1 Page 6

purposes that were being implanted and propagated by the teacher in that experience.

45. And has not the entity in its present sojourn seen its household divided against itself? Has it not seen its own nation rise as against itself? Has it not seen the flower of its country offered upon the altar as a sacrifice to a purpose for that which was founded in an UNTRUTH, and yet partially true? These are, as it were, a part of the experience that it may, this entity, warn others - here, there, as it meets them - that the way of the Lord is not past finding out, but is indeed the heritage of those who seek to know His face.

46. The name then was Agaberta. In the experience the entity GAINED, in its love for its fellow men.

47. Before that the entity was in the Egyptian land, when there had been the turmoils through the rebellions raised among the Natives as well as the people who entered from Atlantis.

48. The entity called upon those who were a part of that experience, that there be the recall of the Priest for the tempering of those purposes as had been wrought by the Natives as well as the household of the King.

49. Thus there came that period in which the entity fostered and aided the Priest in establishing that which became the Temples of Sacrifice; also Temples of Beauty. These were the experiences and activities of the entity.

50. Thus the needs at times, as the entity has proclaimed and has experienced, for individuals to sacrifice within their own lives, their own bodies, something that has been near and dear; and yet is of the earth-earthy, yet apparently as a prop to the spiritual life - yet necessary that their lives be filled more and more ONLY with the love of the Father that is manifested in that blessed way which man hath been given in the earth!

51. Throughout the experience we find the entity maintained harmony among its peoples of the land.

52. The name then was Ameliel.

53. As to the abilities of the entity in the present:

54. Who would give color to the rose? Who would give incense to the violet? Who would dare give color to the lily, or beauty? for it is a part of God's own purpose with same.

55. Then to the entity: Hold fast to that which is and has been thy purpose in Him.

56. Give to others the bounty of thy experience, that it may be precious also in their lives. For the Lord loveth those whom He has cherished in these days of adversity, as well as

2166-1 Page 7

in the days of plenty.

57. Rejoice ever in the Lord.
