1. HLC: You will give the relation of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity, and that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as or called [2167].
3. In giving the interpretations of the records as we find them here, these are chosen with the desire and purpose that this may be a helpful experience for the entity.
4. For, we find many unusual qualities, as the entity is not only an Atlantean but a Uranian. Thus in some directions there will be more of the opportunities for either a great advancement or the possibilities for a lack of development, or misapplication of opportunity.
5. Also we find that one appearance in the earth plane, because of the prominence of the individual entity, may appear to overshadow others; and there is much to be attained by the entity in the present to approach even a semblance of what the entity did for his people then; being the ONLY individual whose father as well as self held the highest office capable of being given in the land.
6. In giving the interpretations, then - these as we find show as to what is the purpose of each soul entering a material experience or sojourn; that it may carry on - as it were - that activity among its fellow men to indicate and insure that the love - as manifested in brotherly love and kindness, gentleness and patience - may be more manifested in this material plane.
2167-1 Page 2
7. For as opportunity presents itself to this entity for a service of a nature that requires the analyzing of all phases of man's experience among his fellow men, let it all be tempered with justice, mercy, peace and truth. These are the purposes upon which this land were founded; and they are those forces, those self-evident facts of man's existence that are a part and parcel of every soul's expression in the material plane; that freedom of speech, freedom of the purpose for worshipfulness of Creative forces according to the dictates of one's own conscience, shall never perish from the earth.
8. Though experiences have arisen in the entity's sojourns when might and power were apparently necessary to meet the evil influences being manifested among men, know that it is ever - as man's development comes - the still small voice within that is the direction, and not pomp or glory, or the ringing of bells or the sounding of trumpets as armies march on. Rather it is here a little, there a little, line upon line, precept upon precept that man attains his relationships to the Creative Forces.
9. And as such relationships are administered to the fellow man, so does the glory of the Father, as manifested in the Son, become apparent in the lives and the affairs of men.
10. For these are His ways. He has not willed that any soul should perish, but that all should come to know the love, the harmony, the peace, the brotherhood of man - in the fatherhood of God.
11. As to the astrological aspects - we find the extremes indicated from the Uranian sojourn, and the public or mass service from the Jupiterian sojourn, with the love as manifested in gentleness and kindness and stability from the Venus sojourn. These are the ruling forces.
12. Hence, as indicated through this year and that just passed, these become the periods when the great decisions have to be made in the experience - as to the choice, or the direction in which there will be the expending of the abilities of the entity; also as to the ways or means in which the virtues are to be expanded, and the vices controlled, and the brotherhood of man extolled among the fellow men.
13. Then, we find one destined - by that ALREADY accomplished, and the intent and purpose - to be a power, a voice among his fellow men; in strange places, in strange lands - perchance.
14. Yet, let it be with that purpose for which the entity once took that oath; to sustain those principles, those activities which caused the foundation of this land.
2167-1 Page 3
15. Hence in service for his fellow man, in the raising of the voice for considerations in all walks and all phases of man's experience, we find the channels through which the entity may have an outlet for not only the expansion of his virtues as indicated, but also make for a growth in the knowledge and in the power and the might of one doing God's service among his fellow men.
16. As to the appearances in the earth, then, we find that these have been quite varied as to the APPARENT characteristics; yet they are indicated in the very nature of the entity, the very manner of thinking, the very manner of expressing that which the entity has accepted and does accept as its tenets, its principles, its purposes.
17. Yet, heed the warning that there will be many opportunities, many "perchances" for losing sight of these principles and purposes, because of the purposes of others that are at variance to these and that might incline the entity to miss the mark of the higher calling. However, the purposes and desires are there. Hold fast to them!
18. Before this, then, the entity was in the name Adams; John Q., or Quincy.
19. Hence we find that details have been written as to the happenings, the activities, the manners in which this entity presented his purposes, not only among his own fellows but among those of other lands.
20. In the present activity of the entity, then, we will find the abilities to give expression - not so much in political power as in political economics, political influence; not as politics but as principles. Let them be tempered, then, with that held as self-evident in the heart and mind of every TRUE AMERICAN!
21. Before that the entity was in the Roman land, during those periods when there were the trials, the persecutions of those peoples who were of "the faith."
22. Hence we find that the entity was among those in authority as the interpreters of the law; taking the part of those who were being persecuted under the law.
23. And the entity became as one in disfavor among the rulers, yet a mighty power in bringing eventually - through the periods of application of the principles of freedom of speech, and freedom of the PERSONAL application - to those in power the greater freedom of activity, BY the people, FOR the people!
24. The entity was known then as Colon Heimon - and it may be said that the entity gained throughout. For, though there were trials and temptations, though there were periods of doubts as to self's own ability to carry forward its
2167-1 Page 4
purposes, the entity gained that as should be the principle of each and every soul; that the TRY is oft counted more for righteousness than the use of the cunning hand.
25. Before that the entity was in the land of promise, during those early periods of the Master's walk in the earth. There we find that the entity was among those of noble birth in the land, being among the sons of the priests of the land.
26. Hence the entity was close in those things pertaining to music, art, and those that would arouse within the hearts and souls of individuals the hopes for finding expression within and without themselves; as the songs of the shepherds, the songs of those who watched upon the mount for the visions as had been proclaimed.
27. Thus the entity was close to the activities of Zachariah, who was the announcer of those things to come into the experience of the peoples. The entity found itself following closely in these, and - like Zachariah - lost its life in the defense of those principles for which it stood; in that God never fails to speak to the children of men through man.
28. In the experience the entity gained, the entity lost; and the entity brought to others the power and the ability to hope.
29. The name then was Jochaim.
30. From that sojourn we find in the present the activities in which the entity is soulful in its purposes, and yet at times easily discouraged from unseen or unknown reasons.
31. These arise also from those influences which preceded that expression of the entity in the material plane; for the entity was also in the earth during those days when there was the return of the children of promise to the land of promise, for the rebuilding, the replenishing of those activities in the land.
32. The entity was among those who had been left in the land, and was that one who with Sanballat sought for a consideration among those efforts attempted.
33. Because of the refusal of those in authority, there came distresses and disturbances, and those attempts to placate the activities. Again there were the attempts to establish in the mountains the worship as had been proclaimed by other teachers.
34. Hence there were the doubts and fears of those who were self-righteous.
35. Thus in the present we find the entity is one who within himself dislikes self-righteousness, and who becomes wary of those who by might or power would proclaim or INDUCE others
2167-1 Page 5
to be forced under their rule or their guidance.
36. The name then was Joseph.
37. Before that the entity was in the Egyptian land, in those periods when turmoils and strifes arose, when there was the entering of those from the Atlantean land.
38. The entity was among the Atlanteans who came with the peoples of Ajax, Irad and others, for the establishing of the lands for the preserving of the records of the Atlantean development, the Atlantean promises.
39. With the return of the priest the entity rose to power as one appointed by the Priest for the equalizing of the influences of power among those designated for the various offices in the Egyptian as well as in other lands where there was the union of service and activity towards the worship of one God.
40. We find that the entity gained, the entity lost, the entity gained. There was a gaining when the activities were in line with the better purposes for a whole, but a losing when these were turned into self-indulgence and self-aggrandizement for the glory of the power in self.
41. Hence the injunction that has been given, to study to show thyself approved unto God - and thy ideal - in relationships materially of man to man, as expressed in the oath of the office taken in thy native land in the present; keeping self from condemnation, either of thy neighbor or of thy friend or of thyself.
42. Let thy yeas be yea, thy nays be nay, ONLY in the Lord! Speak where He speaketh; keep silent that ye may hear the voice within.
43. Know that thy body is indeed the temple of the living God. There He has promised to meet thee, in thine own tabernacle, in thine own mental and spiritual self, in thine own temple. There He would commune with thee!
44. As to the fields of active service in the material plane:
45. We find that as a representative of its own land, or as a political economist, or as a representative in foreign lands, or in the diplomatic corp of thine own land, the entity may serve in a manner, in a way, in which there may be an outlet for the abilities and a magnifying of the virtues, a lessen- ing of the vices, so as to find great expression in service for the fellow man.
46. Keep ye the faith.
47. Ready for questions.
48. (Q) Will his marriage be successful? (A) This depends, of course, upon others as much as or more than upon the entity itself, and may be judged best by
2167-1 Page 6
paralleling the relationships that have existed. They were NOT successful in their former association. Make them so in the present, if it is to be an advancement for all concerned.
49. (Q) Will he find success and fame? (A) In applying those principles, those tenets, and in the fields of activity indicated, he will find success and fame; KEEPING the principles first and foremost as given.
50. (Q) Does he need warnings about health? (A) Warnings as respecting the lymph circulation through the upper portion of chest and head.
51. (Q) Will he do his great work in this or other countries? (A) In the uniting of the efforts of this and other countries, in their relationships in commercial and economic and in spiritual development.
52. We are through for the present. Two copies to Mother Copy to Ass'n file 'n file
