1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2173].
3. Now as we find, there are those disturbances concerning which warnings would be given, rather than diseases. For, at present it is rather the dis-ease and the anxieties that disturb the GENERAL physical forces of this body, [2173].
4. These, then, are the conditions as we find them:
5. In the blood supply we find the indication of poor eliminations at times; and these, with the effects of same, cause some anxiety at times in the locomotions - or their centers.
6. These are the effects, then, of toxic forces; especially as related to their activity upon the organs of the hepatic circulation, and their reflex upon the general metabolism of the system.
7. Hence we find these are varying in their effects, dependent upon the activities of the body, and as to the diet and the eliminations.
8. We find that these arise from portions of the impulse centers, or from the incoordination between the cerebrospinal and sympathetic nervous system; that slows up activities in those areas, or through the functioning of the systems as indicated.
9. To be sure, these at times affect especially the sensory organisms; and these produce more of the anxieties than the general debilitations in other directions - save the effect upon locomotions and their activities in the body as from the toxic forces.

10. In the organs themselves we find - brain reflexes are very good; though the activities through head and neck and portions of the respiratory system are at times sympathetically disturbed, through those pressures and the variations in the alkalinity and acidity through the system - and their activity upon the organs.
11. The heart's activity causes a bit of disturbance, through those disturbances in the liver and kidneys, or hepatic circulation as WE would call it.
12. This arises partially from those conditions through the colon area, as indicated in some experiences of the body; and all of these would be taken into consideration in offering those suggestions that would be helpful in eliminating the tendencies which exist, and bringing a much better condition through the whole of the system.
13. First, we would begin with the GENERAL RELAXING treatments osteopathically administered. These would be given about twice each week, until there have been about eight to ten such treatments.
14. Then, (after the osteopathic treatments have been completed), we would have once a week the general hydrotherapy treatments; including a mild Cabinet Sweat, not too high, not raising the activities of the respiratory or perspiratory system too high, but sufficient for a stimulation to the superficial circulation, and we would use in such a Cabinet Sweat the fumes especially from Witchhazel, for this body.
15. This would be followed by a thorough rubdown and massage; not corrections, for these should have been made in the cerebrospinal centers by the mechanical (osteopathic) adjustments.
16. These should be kept up (the hydrotherapy treatments) for some six weeks.
17. As to the diet - refrain from white bread or starchy foods.
18. Have plenty of fruits and vegetables each day.
19. Refrain from fried foods.
20. Have plenty of those foods that are of the better ELIMINATING natures; as prunes, figs and the like; as a part of the diet most every day.
21. Through those periods of the six weeks that the hydrotherapy treatments are given, we would have at least one or two colonic irrigations; that we may remove from the colon those congestions which are indicated there in the present.
22. Do these, and we will bring bettered conditions for this body, [2173].

23. Ready for questions.
24. (Q) What causes the skin condition (infection) on the scalp? (A) The poor circulation, which will be materially aided by not only the osteopathic adjustments but especially by the stimulation to the circulation through the fume baths that have been indicated for the body. The scalp treatment will be a portion of the massage through the hydrotherapy treatments, you see.
25. (Q) What exercise? (A) Walking is the best exercise for the body. Naturally, there will be a good deal of gymnasium exercise with the hydrotherapy treatments; and these are very well. DO NOT apply any ELECTRICAL treatments for this body, especially until there has been the whole purifying, or until after those applications have been made as we have suggested here.
26. (Q) Do irritated glands cause the lumps or bumps to come and go, behind my ears and on my head? (A) As indicated, these arise from incoordination between the superficial and deeper circulation. This is partially glandular, but more NERVOUS condition - through those pressures as will be indicated, or found, in the dorsal and upper cervical. As indicated for the adjustments, these should be RELAXING and corrective applications, see?
27. (Q) What causes the prolonged headaches? (A) The toxic conditions through the system, as combined with the pressures along the cerebrospinal system. Partially these arise from the disturbance in the stomach, and the unbalanced condition in the metabolism and the general reactions in same. Do these things as we have indicated, and we will bring the better forces for this body.
