Time of Reading 3:40 to 4:20 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Conn.
1. HLC: You will have before you the entity [2174] in her room at ..., Conn., who seeks a mental and spiritual Reading; that from the circle which is her life's seal there may radiate those thoughts, feelings and actions which serve His purpose with the children of men in these difficult times. You will answer the questions she has submitted, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes. In indicating that as may be beneficial in a mental and spiritual interpretation of the problems that are, and have been, a part of the entity's experience, many things are to be taken into consideration.
3. Not that what may be indicated is to be dogmatic, or a fault finding with the principles, policies, wishes, desires and hopes of the entity; but that there may be those pointers to aid the entity in analyzing its individuality, and why such urges are in this or that direction, that have to do with the problems in the present experience.
4. For, it is with this premise that all of this is to be approached.
5. Know that self in the physical activative state is a part of the plan of salvation, of righteousness, of truth, of the Creative Forces or God in the earth.
6. Each entity, then, is as a corpuscle in the body of that force called God. Those activities in which there has been the presentation, the manifestation of His love, His activity in the earth, are as the blood stream; while the spirit of consciousness is as the nerves of the body itself.
7. Hence self, as an individual, is a manifestation of Creative Forces in action in the earth.
8. Yet each entity finds itself with a body that seeks expression of itself, and with a mind that may take hold of those awarenesses of what the body represents, or presents, among men in the earth; or may become cognizant of the influences of which it, as an ENTITY, is a part.
9. These are, and have been, the constant warring influences
2174-2 Page 2
in the body-mind, and through same are the problems that present themselves from day to day, on which judgment is to be passed by that choice made by the entity in its self-expression.
10. Thus, as has been indicated through the varied experiences in the earth, there have been those choices made to various degrees in satisfying the ego (or self), or in glorifying the self that is of the Creative Forces.
11. As indicated as a part of the body-consciousness, that which a mind and a body entertains or applies becomes a part of that INDIVIDUAL entity, shining forth in its relationships to men as a personality; and shortly in that superconsciousness as individuality that bears its relationship to the Creative Forces, or God.
12. What, then, IS the meaning or the interpretation of those things indicated in that outline to the entity - as to the entity being an adherent to the Law of One, or having the seal expressing the basic principle of same - a circle?
13. The Law of One - the entity considered an adherent to, a demonstrator of, the principles of the divinity manifested in materiality.
14. The circle - this is a figure, a symbol of completeness; as indicated by the words, "The Lord thy God is One!"
15. Then, what are the principles, the symbols, the rules, the regulations by which an entity - as this - is to choose, to guide self in its choices?
16. How is the entity to know the manner in which the choice is to be made correctly?
17. Much must be left in faith. What is faith, then?
18. In Whom, in what, have ye believed? And Who is the author of that ye have believed, and do make manifest in the earth?
19. Then, there must be that coordination, that answering of those first premises which have been indicated; because - as is the mind of the entity - things that equal to the same thing are equal to one another.
20. There is that consciousness that He, the Father-God, has made Himself manifested in the earth. There was the awareness of this in the Atlantean activity, or that phase of the entity's experience, as well as in the periods of the sojourn in the Holy Land. These indicate that awareness, that consciousness which has been and is a portion of the entity's experience.
21. Also those experiences have become a part of the entity's development as to ways or means in which BODY-material functioning may be TRAINED into the losing of itself.
2174-2 Page 3
22. Both are correct. But do not allow the manner or the means to become that worshiped. For, as ye analyze thyself and thy relationships with thy fellow men day by day, ye realize the fact, the truth, that "Inasmuch as ye do it unto the least of thy brethren, ye do it unto me."
23. Then ye realize with what manner of judgment ye may expect, ye may desire to be judged by that part of thyself which IS to be glorified ONLY in thy daily application, use, or the admonitions in the use of same towards others.
24. Then as ye realize and apply that, it does not become a matter of what one professes to believe, or what one says with the mouth, but what one does in secret, in the mind, in the self, TOWARD that it professes and admonishes and insists that others believe!
25. And such activities - of thy inner mind and of thy outer expression - are to be wholly CONSISTENT one with another!
26. What, then, is this faith that is indicated? This one KNOWS, when one becomes aware of same; yet may never put it into words nor tell another by words - or acts even - as to what that consciousness of faith is. Yet we may see the shadow of same in what faith has prompted in the experiences of others - as it is so well expressed in the eleventh of Hebrews, or as given in that God so had faith in man as to give His Son, HIMSELF, to die - IN the flesh; knowing that man must come to the realization - and would - that he, too, must often crucify that of material desire within himself, if he would glorify his better self, or if he would prefer his brother above himself. Or, even as a man, Abraham, the son of faith, the author of faith, offered - or was willing to offer - his only son, his physical heir; knowing that there MUST be a purpose from that inner voice as to that command.
27. So may ye, in thy dealing with the problems that arise in thy daily life; and as ye analyze from that as may be visioned or meditated upon, from activities in the varied earthly experiences. For, ye realize that ye ARE meeting thine old self - yea, thy old friends, thy old enemies.
28. For, what ye are, as in each activity, gives a strength, or weakens thee, for the next lesson ye are to recite.
29. How well ye will meet the problems as they are presented depends upon how well ye have mastered, and do master, the problems before thee from day to day.
30. In Him, the Christ, as manifested in Jesus, ye find this - the first, the greatest commandment - "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God (that as manifested in self AS life itself), and thy neighbor as thyself."
31. That which brings these both in awareness is that so
2174-2 Page 4
well and yet so badly named LOVE. God is love. An individual entity, each soul, each entity, each body, finds the need of expressing that called love in the material experience; from its first awareness until its last call through God's other door - the need of love, expressed, manifested, by self and from others.
32. As ye sow, so shall ye reap - this again becomes the foundation of what self, as well as others, may expect. If ye would have friends, show thyself friendly; if ye would have love, love ye one another. These are unchangeable. They do not alter. Man alters them only in the application, - as to whether it is to satisfy the ego or the animal, or the flesh, or the mind.
33. These expressions, then, to self, as is experienced in motherhood, give the greatest glory manifested in the earth.
34. Thus may ye indeed know such, as ye mete it out to others.
35. What, then, is the purpose of this discussion? Ye find thy body, thy mind, thy soul - thy body the temple of the living God - thy mind the connecting and communicating link with the Divine, through which ye may ever receive the answer, if ye will but harken. For, Mind is the builder. That a mind can ask a question signifies (as ye are a part of the divine) that the answer is within self. And the true answer can only be EXPERIENCED by self!
36. That which has been pointed out here (in a very poor manner) may arouse within self the realization that of thyself ye may do little, but that as He - thy Savior, thy God - worketh in and through thee, ye may make thy portion - yea, all portions of the earth a better place for man to live in!
37. In thy daily dealings, then, let that first principle be set - in love preferring Him before any; and in application let Him direct the way.
