1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body, [2177].
3. As we find, there are disturbing conditions which have affected and do affect the body. These have to do with the manner in which the assimilating system disgorges itself through deflection of activities of the blood supply.
4. Then, these are the conditions as we find them with this body, [2177].
5. In the blood supply - here we find there are indications at times of there being a disturbed metabolism. This does not indicate that it has ever been very serious, but from the very nature of the changes that have been wrought, as to the manner in which this condition in itself reacts upon the system and causes hemorrhages in the stomach and the intestinal system at times, we find that a thinning of the walls of the arterial forces is indicated.
6. This was indicated as the cause of the engorging of the organs that assist in assimilation and in the activity of impulses to the circulation as related to the sympathetic impulses of the body.
7. The removal of a portion of the assimilating system, or the engorged portion, relieved the disturbance for the time being, or for a period; but there is the indication of a return of this.
8. Then, unless there are measures taken that will aid in relieving the CAUSES, the condition will continue to give a great deal of disturbance, sapping the vitality of the body - as there is the inclination for this engorgement of the circulation to decrease the vital energies of the body.
9. And it would cause a great anxiety, even MORE so because of the removal of the portion through which impulses to the mental and imaginative circulatory forces of the nervous
2177-1 Page 2
system are kept balanced in their activities; for it would be MORE aggravating and distressing to the nervous system.
10. As we find, this is a condition related to impulses in the nerve forces for the receiving of impulses for activity in the central organism or central nervous system itself; as well as the lack of a balance in the system to create the more perfect coagulation.
11. Thus the effect upon the metabolism of the system has shown great extravagant activity just before or after such periods of disgorgement, or at the periods when such hemorrhages arise.
12. This might be called a tubercular reaction, then, that causes the thinning of the walls of the circulation as related to the stomach itself; so that the fluids of digestion and those that create or keep a balance between the blood circulations in the organs themselves become involved in the condition.
13. In making applications, then, which would be the more helpful here - we find:
14. A much warmer and more regular climate would be more helpful; and also an altitude not so high as to be too rarefied, but where the body might have the effect more of the ultra-violet rays of the sun itself.
15. Also we would combine with same a diet which would tend to overcome this thinning of the walls of the circulation through the assimilating system; supplying those foods that would build, create or produce more of the leucocytes or warriors in the blood supply to destroy the inclinations for this tubercle in these areas of the system.
16. Such a climate as Arizona - close to Tucson or the like - would be preferable; and be in the open as much as practical, with as few clothing worn as possible, being ACTIVE in the open.
17. In the diet we would have plenty of such foods as whole wheat and whole oats (cracked or cut), cooked a long time; also fish and fowl and the like as the principal meats. Not that these would be the only foods taken, of course, but these should form the basis of the diet. Have plenty of eggs, but use only the yolk of same, not the white.
18. Of course, have plenty of vegetables and fruits in their season, but those grown in the same climate are preferable.
19. Occasionally light wines may be taken.
20. If milk is to be taken, let it be either the milk taken while still warm from the body-heat of the cow (that has been tested - the cow - and is free from any infectious forces), OR malted milks.
21. All such as these, as we find, would bring better
2177-1 Page 3
conditions for this body.
22. Once or twice a day we would inhale the fumes from distilled Apple Brandy, that would arise as vapor from the Brandy being kept in a warm place. Inhale through the nostrils as well as through the mouth, swallowing the fumes or gas arising from the increased vaporization produced by the heat. Do not take the Brandy itself - only inhale the fumes from same, through the nostrils and mouth, into the lungs.
23. Doing these - we would find in six to nine months that the body should be able THEN to carry on in most any climate or activity.
24. Ready for questions.
25. (Q) Is there a possibility that this ailment can be permanently cured, or will it be just a chronic recurrence in spite of treatment you suggest? (A) As we have indicated, this course of treatment here outlined should eradicate same. For, while it has been of long standing, it has NOT spread through the system; so that by careful, consistent and persistent attention in the directions indicated, it should in six to nine months - under the environs, activities and foods indicated - be eliminated - but not by drugs nor by operative measures now. Do as we have indicated for the better conditions for this body. We are through for the present. esent.
