Time of Reading 3:45 to 4:00 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., New Jersey.
1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes.
3. Now as we find, there are disturbing conditions which prevent the better normal physical functioning.
4. These have been slowly arising in the system from a general disturbance which was caused some time back.
5. First, there was an unbalancing in the chemical processes in the system which allowed a superacidity.
6. Later this condition became aggravated through congestion and the germ of cold.
7. Those applications administered, and the general rundown condition of the body owing to the depleting of the strength, caused the increase in the unbalancing.
8. Thus we had pressures produced in the nervous system which deflected the abilities of the system to eliminate poisons from the system - especially in the lower hepatic circulation, or the combination of both the upper and lower hepatic.
9. Therefore, we had the increased activity or disturbance in the uremic reactions.
10. These have caused the muscular and tendon forces to be affected; and the general debilitation through the system has affected the lymph and emunctory circulation throughout the system.
11. Consequently, we have general disturbances of the body; the reactions to heart reflexes (though no organic condition), and an upsetting of the digestive forces of the body - with the liver and kidneys especially involved as to sources of the general disturbance.
12. Then, in making application that as we find would be the most beneficial:
13. For thirty minutes each day, preferably when ready to
2179-1 Page 2
retire, we would apply the low static electrical vibrations as found in the Plain Wet Cell Appliance, with attachments to the opposite extremities. This is the very lowest form of electrical vibration, you see, or a static nature - and the Appliance would be recharged about every thirty days. Continue the use of this for at least two rechargings (two months, you see), then leave off for a month or so, and then have recharged and use again, see?
14. To assist in creating a better assimilation in the digestive forces, we would take internally from half to a level teaspoonful of ALCAROID about thirty minutes after the heavier meal of the day. Whether this is morning, noon or evening - after the heavier meals take the ALCAROID; only once each day, you see, following the heavier meal. Stir this first in a small quantity of water, then fill the glass, and then drink another glass of water afterwards.
15. Also, to aid with these - we would have the general hydrotherapy treatments once or twice each week; perhaps twice a week in the beginning, then gradually decrease to once each week for the entire period of using the Wet Cell Appliance as indicated. These hydrotherapy treatments would include; first a low Cabinet Sweat Bath to increase the coordination between superficial and deeper circulation; followed by a deep rubdown. With the Sweats, let there be used a combination of Pine Oil and Tolu in Solution, so that the FUMES from these properties may settle on the body, to produce a stimulation - as the external body-temperature is raised with dry heat, letting these fumes settle over the body to stimulate the superficial circulation. Then give the deep rubdown, stimulating better eliminations between the upper and lower hepatic circulation by corrections along the cerebrospinal system AS the general massage reduces the general disturbances in the body.
16. In the beginning - that is, about every other week for at least three to four of such colonics, we would also have the Colonic Irrigations to cleanse the colon, to assist in relieving the tendency for engorgement in one portion and a prolapses in the other; thus purifying the system - in combination with the other treatments suggested. Such colonics should be given with a saline-soda solution, to prevent irritation and to assist in removing toxic forces.
17. Now, as to the diet:
18. We would keep to those things that keep away from meats, fats and the like. However, fish, fowl or lamb may be taken in moderation.
19. No fried foods at anytime.
20. Not too great quantities of potatoes, though the skins
2179-1 Page 3
of the Irish or white potatoes - and that very close to same - are very good; for the salts in these are well for the body. Even if the potato peels are cooked a long time in water and the juice or soup or broth from same taken, it would be excellent.
21. Have plenty of carrots.
22. Baked apples, but not raw apples.
23. No bananas, but plenty of other fruits.
24. Citrus fruits are well; especially pineapple for this body would be good - but fresh pineapple for this body is better than the canned.
25. But if tomatoes are used, those that are canned are preferable to those ripened after being taken from the vine.
26. These as we find, if kept up CONSISTENTLY, will remove the disturbance in this body of [2179] relieving those tensions through the massage and corrective measures during the hydrotherapy treatments will also aid in the better coordination of the sympathetic and the cerebrospinal reflexes.
27. Ready for questions.
28. We are through for the present. Copy to Self through Dr. Gunkel " " Ass'n file (See article [which was enclosed] explaining the Wet Cell Appliance. See extra sheet of directions [which was enclosed] for the hydrotherapy treatments. We would refer you to someone who has had experience with, and results from, following suggestions made in Mr. Cayce's Readings; such as: The Reilly Service, R.C.A. Bldg., N.Y.C; Dr. Louis H. Backman, 40 W. 55th St., N.Y.C; Dr. Wm D. Taylor, 29 So. Maple Terrace, East Orange, N.J. Please let us have the name of the one to whom you go, so we may ask for a report at the proper time.
