1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2184]. Now, as we find, there are some disturbing factors in the physical functioning of the body. These, as we find, in their reaction affect the nervous system and produce the reactions in the activities of same as related to the organs and activities of the physical body.
2. These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body, [2184] we are speaking of, present in this room:
3. That we may better understand the conditions, these are not - as we find - things or conditions to be greatly worried about, provided the precautions and necessary steps are taken to correct them in their beginning. However, if these are allowed to progress in such a manner as to shape or undermine the coordination between the sympathetic and the cerebrospinal, and the imaginative and reactive nervous system, we may expect mental and disturbing factors that will be detrimental throughout the activities of the body in this experience. These, as we find, may be easily eliminated in the present, and are of specific nature; that is, an overabundance and a changing in type of the active forces as parasite in the digestive system, or as pinworm action.
4. These, then, are the conditions, or the effects that we see resultant in the body in its developing and formative periods of not only habit, but of the reactions of the mental body to those things without and within its own reaction to conditions:
5. In the BLOOD supply, we find this below the normal in the amount of the red blood supply, though in many ways and manners very good. There is the attempt of the system in its reaction to produce sufficient for the developing of all portions of the system, the functionings of the organs as they are developing also - that have much to do with the mental balance, and the functionings of the organs of
2184-1 Page 2
production and reaction through the mental activities of the body, all of these must suffer unless there are the corrections made so that there will be an even balance through the system. The white blood becomes excessive. Hence a form of anemia, but not bordering as yet on pernicious, nor does it always exist - but periods come, from the amount of the effluvia and the necessary elements that make up the resuscitating and replenishing supply of the blood system from that assimilated, as to even reduce the elements necessary to keep an equal balance in the chemical forces of the body itself.
6. In the NERVOUS system, here we find the conditions from which the nervous system is suffering - the activity of the non-supply of those forces or elements in same sufficient to keep an equal balance, rather than this producing it is the effect produced in the nervous system. Hence the responsiveness that comes from the reaction of the impulse to and from the differentiate systems on that brain center from which impulse must react to those forces from without. Hence we find a nervous system, or systems of the body, deficient in that stamen [stamina?] that supplies the sufficient quantity of the fluids and active forces to keep a normal balance. Because these seem to appear to affect the system so generally, these should not be considered as indications of a nervous breakdown, or of any mental unbalance, or of any condition physical that may not be met - if taken in time.
7. The effects upon the general activity of the system itself, or the ORGANS of the body:
8. Being in a developing stage - that is, the body-physical, the body-mental, the body-imaginative - all organs of the system may be said to be functioning at a point of excess, though no organic condition exists in the system.
9. In meeting, then, the needs of the conditions in this body, [2184] we are speaking of:
10. We would add, then, to the system, those vibrations that may be had from the Radio-Active Appliance carrying that solution of Spirits of Camphor in the negative anode of such vibration, and when this is attached to the body for the vibrations from same the attachments should be made first to the 5th and 6th dorsal center - this first, the larger plate, carrying the solution in its activity. Then a plate not quite so large, but large enough to cover the plexus at the umbilicii center, though above and a little to the right - see? This should be attached each evening as the body is ready to rest, and should be kept on for a period of thirty minutes to one hour each day. Keep these up for at least
2184-1 Page 3
twenty-six to thirty days, see?
11. We would also, every other day, use the electrically driven vibrator, using the sponge applicator direct to the body, running same from the base of brain to the end of the spine, running each side of the cerebrospinal system. This is to create in each center an impulse and reaction that will come from the reviving of the character of assimilation that will take place from the vibrations created by the low electrical vibration that carries with same the destructive forces for those foreign conditions that have become excessive in the system. This will create, then, a normal balance between the bodies, and we should find that within this period there will become a much greater consideration in the system of those things that make for a nominal, normal development of the body mentally and physically.
12. In the matter of the diet, as these vibrations are being given the body, we will find that it is better to keep an evenly balanced diet; that is, one that is well for a developing body, carrying especially those vitamins found in D - and not too much of the E vitamins in the beginning, though as the conditions are improved then these will be found more helpful for creating an even balance.
13. The electrically driven vibrations would be given every other day, from fifteen to thirty minutes at each treatment.
14. Ready for questions.
15. (Q) At what time should the electrically driven vibrator be used? (A) This should be as the body is ready to retire. Give this. After it is begun, then apply the Radio-Active Appliance.
16. (Q) When will the body be perfectly well? (A) This should be in thirty-six to forty days.
17. (Q) Are the eyes of the body strong and able unassisted by glasses to study? (A) Will be after these vibrations are given.
18. (Q) Why does the body acquire so many more habits when attending school than during vacation? (A) The natural conditions that come from those things that are affecting the basic forces of the formative activities of the body itself; for when it is being fed upon, it depends upon the activities of others rather than upon self.
19. (Q) Should the defective teeth of the body be drawn or treated locally? (A) Better to be treated locally.
20. (Q) Why does the body breathe through the mouth? (A) Do as we have given and we will clear these conditions; for these are habits, as well as produced by those pressures
2184-1 Page 4
that are to be relieved by the application of the electrically driven vibration through the cervical and upper dorsal area.
21. (Q) To what color does the body vibrate? (A) The highest is that of the modes [mauves?].
22. (Q) Are there any astrological influences that affect the body, if so how may they be overcome? (A) Not so much in the formative activities as those conditions that are influencing from within, at the present.
23. (Q) Is play with the opposite sex harmful to girls of the age of this body? (A) As in the present conditions it would be natural that it was. With the changes that will come about, by the activities of the vibrations that may be changed in the system, it would be very helpful.
24. (Q) Is there any spiritual advice that the body should have? (A) Keep those activities before the body not only of precept but of example; remembering those virtues that make for the proper activities for a developing mind are those of the nature that are CONSTRUCTIVE in their reaction to a mental, a physical and spiritual body. But remove first those things that hinder in the physical. These, as we find, have come from a matter of diet and of impulse that has arisen from conditions that have been in the body's experience. With the changing of these vibrations through the elements outlined, we do not alter or hinder any portion of a functioning organ; otherwise this might be destroyed by the use of strong drug, but this would eventually show in the system in a mental aberration.
