1. EC: We have the body here, [2189] - this we have had before. In MANY respects we find the body still on the improve. While there are those indications at times of a disturbance in an equilibrium in the body, especially after evening rest or night's sleep, in the equalizing of the BREATHING, equalizing of the circulation through lower extremities - REST during such periods, and don't become lazy - but just rest!

2. Then, in the application of the massage, as has been outlined - these go more to the extremities, or to the centers from which LOCOMOTION is obtained in the circulation; that is, the brachial center and up, the lumbar plexus and down. The nerves of the lower limbs, the nerves of the body, and to the central - or especially to the 5TH nerves in the head. These, as we find, with those outlined as to diet, as to activities, as to vibratory forces - that is, in the electrical forces - these will bring a normal condition for this body, [2189]. Ready for questions.

3. (Q) What is causing the tired feeling in legs, ankles and knees? (A) This has been given. Just do that!

4. (Q) Should body partake of baths? If so, what type will be most beneficial? (A) The most beneficial will be, not too long, in the plain cabinet - that is, from ten to fifteen minutes, or until the perspiration is started well. Not OVERHEATING the body, see? Then the thorough rub down, especially with those of the alcohol and the oils, or MAKE a combination of this: Take one pint rub alcohol, add one pint Nujol and one-half ounce of witchhazel. Shake these together before the rub is made over the body, see? These will be WELL for the body, taken about once or twice each week. These will be most helpful.

5. (Q) What should be done to strengthen the resistive forces in blood supply and eliminate blood congestion?

2189-4 Page 2

(A) These as have been outlined are to change this. The changes necessary, these have been outlined. This only more explanatory: In the circulatory system there is that circulation which, as the figure eight, goes through liver, kidneys, and to the lower portion of the body, and to the lungs, heart, and upper portion of the body, and the general throw-off from same. The whole blood of the body circulates every six minutes through all these portions, or makes the complete circuit. In the ends, as is given, in the brachial center, there is the basis for the upper portion - to the head, to the arms, see? and through the lumbar center, from there is the radial forces to the lower portion. (This is in the arterial veins, to be sure) As they are returned in the veins, we find these become capillary in their nature, and the slowness occurs in these changes. Hence this stimulation to the brachial center, and following them out; to lumbar center and follow those out, is to increase this circulation, so that there is that proper circulation from the arterial to the venous circulation, see?

6. (Q) What is cause of heavy breathing, often noticeable in body? (A) Just the same thing we have been talking about!

7. (Q) How is body's eyes? Should glasses be worn? If so, what type? (A) No yet. If we will increase this circulation in the body, so that the eliminations are thrown off from the system, by the used forces being carried in and eliminated through the system, we will find that when conditions are improved much less strong lens would be necessary - for close work.

8. That is all the questions.

9. We are through with this reading.
