1. HLC: You will have before you [2205] born March 8, 1903, in Lunenburg Co., Va. You will give a biographical account of the life of the entity as Celicene, at the time of Cornelius in the Promised Land during the Roman activity; explaining the urges from that period and how they may be met for the greatest mental and spiritual development in this experience. You will give careful consideration to the way of meeting the urges from the self-aggrandizement and self-indulgence which were indicated as part of that experience, and also the ability to write as indicated. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as or called [2205] and in particular reference to that phase of the entity's experience as a daughter of Cornelius - and the entity should meet that entity, for he exists, in high places, in the present.

3. In giving the biographical sketch of the entity's experience there, there should necessarily be given something of the customs and the conditions which existed through that period, in order that a better understanding may be had.

4. For, as indicated, the position of the entity was as the elder daughter of the ruler or judge, or procounsul of the actions connected with the Roman soldiery - for, Cornelius was in the office of all of these in Caesarea.

5. Though born in Rome, the entity came into that environ early in the life; in which the surroundings were such as to make for the understanding that differences existed in the lives of the individuals about the entity.

6. Hence the early life brought those conditions in which there was the feeling in the experience of the entity of being ABOVE most of those about the entity, or that they were somewhat inferior. This is not given in the nature of criticism, for the environs and conditions which existed

2205-3 Page 2

caused such a feeling.

7. Then with the changes which came about because of the conversion of Cornelius, and the association of his household with the disciples, the change in the entity was not so quick. Neither was there the absorbing wholly of the ideas presented by those teachers, who to the entity - in the most part - appeared to be rather uncouth, or men who were not of the same estate or class or group as the entity. Yet the entity sought and desired - because of the sincerity of those of the household - to be in accord with that being practiced as a part of the experience of the household.

8. Hence no wonder that there were turmoils in the inner feelings, the inner emotions of the entity. For, there were the social and economic changes which were naturally wrought by those of the household becoming so absorbed as to make the home a place where there were the meetings of various groups.

9. And remember, as indicated here in the experience of the entity, the followers and disciples and teachers or ministers did not always hold the same tenets as the ones who were in the position of the Roman citizens and those of the household of the Jews. Remember, there was a vast difference in the teachings even of the leaders!

10. No wonder, then, that the entity in the present finds the writings of some of those hard to correlate, who attempted to present their understanding; and a variation as to just what Peter meant as expressed in Mark, in Luke, or by Paul. Luke and Lucius were very good friends of the entity during those experiences. Paul became rather that one, to the entity, who brought those turmoils, because of his manner of presentation to the various groups.

11. And as indicated here, we find there was a great variation which arose in the experience during that particular sojourn, in the attempt of the entity to unify the teachings of Paul and the teachings of Peter (who was to the entity's parent the confessor). There was a great variation. One held that the body must be under surveillance at all times. The other held that the use of the offices of the body, whether physical, social or material, were not to be considered so much - just so the mind was kept in accord.

12. Thus we find much of the same turmoils arising within the experiences of the entity in the present. Yet these as we find may be met in those manners as we have indicated for the entity - in that each phase of the entity's personality, individuality, has of itself its own questions, its own problems; yet they are all answered in that ONENESS

2205-3 Page 3

of purpose, oneness of desire that the body, the mind, the soul be in accord, in attune, with that as HE would have thee be!

13. He never condemned any. Peter, Paul, Luke, Mark, Lucius, ALL were men; with appetites, desires that sought their own indulgence oft, and gave expressions to same - and these, with the various groups, produced the turmoils.

14. Yet later in the experience when the activities brought about the greater associations with those of her own peoples in the Roman land, the entity found that answer as has been indicated; and thus brought constructive experiences through her activities throughout the sojourn there of many years, and brought the greater blessings to those with whom the entity came in contact through that sojourn.

15. As to the manners of meeting same in the present:

16. As indicated, study to show thyself approved unto that thou hast ordained, or purposed, or desired in thine own conscience; condemning none.

17. Study to show thyself approved in not merely lip service, not merely formality, but in the very JOY of living, in the very JOY of expressing and giving hope!

18. It can ONLY be done as ye maintain and hold to the love which He manifested. It is in giving to others, in bringing into their experience and awareness that joy which ye find in knowing - as ye did in those experiences - that ye oft walk and talk, as it were, with Him.

19. Ye saw phenomena in the household of Cornelius, in the servants, in thine own parents - which ye sought and yet never fully experienced. Ye learned later it was not necessary that ye speak with tongues, but with that tongue of love - which is the language of all who seek His face.

20. Ready for questions.

21. (Q) Please give more specific directions for the writing as indicated as possible from the urges from that period; best sources to study, exact type of subjects, etc. (A) As there were the writings then by the various ones who interpreted in their own manner the type of Christian living which had been brought to them, and to the various leaders of that period, so in the present the entity should write as to the effect that various forms of activity have, and the effect they bring into the experience and life of individuals.

22. (Q) Explain the significance of the childhood dream of eyes and bubbles, and how its influence can be used for good in the future. (A) These as we find are, as it were, the ends - or portions - of many individual experiences of the entity

2205-3 Page 4

through many of its sojourns. As the entity knew of and saw manifestations of the power of the unseen forces in the experiences of others, it brought those activities and movements of every form. Thus these become as fearful experiences, or as things that create fear. Yet if they are taken as assurances of His promises, it will be seen that they are reminders that out of self visions come, out of self thoughts arise, out of self activities may begin; and these become rather then as stepping-stones than stumblingstones - as they oft have. Then, the little assurances that arise, bless them, keep them; not as fearful things, but as those things upon which HOPE and faith and patience and love may be builded!

23. (Q) Please explain how the past association and influences of the following people can be directed to gain the best possible results in my present and future existence in this earth plane; which ones if any will enter and influence my life again; should I marry any one of the four: First, - (A) (Interrupting) This depends - as does every form of association - on what ye set as thy ideal, and the choice made by self. As ye think in thy heart, so is it. All of these have been associated with the entity - some as helpers, some as hinderers. To say to keep away from this one, or to be joined together with that one, would - to this entity - place it in itself in a false position, and place THEM in a false position. For, the choice of associations with all of these will be influenced by this entity. All HAVE been influenced by the entity. Then, the choice must be in self, as the directions are taken for the life of service - in the directions as the entity chooses them of herself. Know that, as the Father hath given, all are free-willed; yet all are endowed with the ability to say Yes or No and mean it - when problems, conditions, associations arise that are to self as questions. Then, as has been indicated, oft the dreams, the visions - not merely as a child, but these taking other forms - have been warnings. May they not assist thee within thyself the more? Do that.

Keep in that channel; not as this or that, but through HIS way made THY way! and thy way His way! He will lead the way.
