1. FEM: Now, Mr. Cayce, you are going to sleep. (Pause). Now, Mr. Cayce, you are asleep, and all the organs of your body will function properly, and you will hear me and answer all of my questions. You have before you this morning the body of Mrs. [2219], who is present in this room. Now, Mr. Cayce, tell me the physical and mental ailments that you find within this body that you have before you, and if an operation is necessary please tell me, and if not, tell me what will relieve the conditions within this body that you have before you.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here. Now, we have some abnormal conditions within this body that may be corrected and assisted, and which will assist the body in regaining its equilibrium, and give to the physical forces those vibrations necessary to make the best in its life. Now, these are the conditions as we find them in this body, - Mrs. [2219] we are speaking of. The blood we find is thin, or in a state where the vital forces necessary to re-build does not give the proper strength and vitality to the body, and it is using up the strength that is created in the system from day to day without proper energy, so that the tiredness of all of the extremities, especially the weakness or shortness of breath when exercise is taken, is produced from the lack of the vital energy necessary in the blood to produce the carbon needed in the body to give off the energy necessary. This we find is produced in the system by the condition that exists along the whole length of the spinal column, for we find the impingement of many of the centers, or the segments controlling the nerve centers or ganglions along the whole length of the spine, so that there are many organs affected in their functioning, and the supply of energy as is needed in the system is thereby shortened, and creating the condition that we find in the light fluid that supplies the whole system with the necessary force of the physical body, we are speaking of. We find at the 4th and 5th dorsal there are floating lesions that affect the upper portion of the lung supplying forces itself. It is the
2219-1 Page 2
attempt of the natural forces to supply the needed energy, or centralize the needed energy to assist in the proper functioning of the organs in respiratory action. The effect to the throat and eyes, and to the portion of the head, then becomes a reflex from this condition. The action of the heart at times in its flow of blood is then affected only reflexly. The condition through the stomach and intestinal tract we find is produced about the solar plexus and the ganglions just above the same, or at the 6th and 7th dorsal. This is a stronger lesion than that we have in the upper portion, and was the center, or the beginning of this, just as we find the reflexion of the upper portion of the body, and this has brought about the conditions that we find in the upper dorsal region. We have intestinal indigestion, yet the action of the soul forces with the nervous energy has kept the condition better than would be of the ordinary individual that we would have in the body. See? FEM: Yes, sir.
3. The action, or the functioning of the organs of the trunk portion of the body show the effect of the blood supplying forces, and the action of the pelvis give off, or show the reflex forces, as is shown through nerve energy as used within the system, and the action of the hepatic circulation is significant as to the condition of the liver and kidneys in their action over the system, for the condition in the intestinal tract gives or shows the physical force in its attempt by the action of nerve energy as created by the soul forces to create or produce that of the normal condition, yet the body physically suffers at times from this condition in the system. See? FEM: Yes, sir.
4. To alleviate and to bring the body to its normal force, we would use suggestion to the body itself through its own individual forces, and with such exercise as would give to the body itself this relief, and to the vibrations as we would find with the rubbing (not massage or adjustments), but by rubbing the whole length of the spine with cold water, and the rubbing or bringing of the blood supplies to the center, and then with a diet would we adjust this condition in this body to give it the better force and vitality as needed in this body. See? FEM: Yes, sir.
5. The exercises would be in this manner and form; the full head and neck exercise, the arms back and forward until we
2219-1 Page 3
expand the lung force, giving deep inhalations at the time of the arms being back; the bending of the body in a circular motion from the hips up; the back motion of the body, with the body lying flat down. See? FEM: Yes, sir.
6. And the raising of the body from the head to the neck with the strength of the body, to strengthen and to give the proper incentives to the nervous force; to give action to the blood supplying forces throughout all of the organs of the trunk portion of the body. See? FEM: Yes, sir.
7. This will assist the conditions that arise at times through the sciatic nerve force and give a better supply of blood force to the whole system, and make more capillary circulation and more lymphatic action to all the lymphatic glands in this body; both internal and external action of these glands need to be excited, so we will have more secretions from the food that is taken. The food should be that of wild game, or fish and meat should be eaten by this body. See? FEM: Yes, sir.
8. Until the full adjustments are made throughout. Do those.
9. (Q) Mr. Cayce, this body has been told by her physician that the coccyx has been turned in. (A) "Mr. Cayce, this body has been told by her physician that the coccyx has been turned in".
10. (Q) Is that correct or not? (A) "IS that correct, or not". The exercises that we have given this body here of the back and head exercises is to correct the condition as exists through the whole length of the spine. FEM: Yes, sir. The force as given here in the coccyx at the end of the spine is turned, but with the action of the muscular forces of the spine throughout, this will correct this condition in itself better than the adjustment of that, and that alone in the system, as we would give them if we would correct the conditions in this body, keeping the circulation up. You see? FEM: Yes, sir. Taking the exercises as we have given, and the rubs as we
2219-1 Page 4
have given along the spine. See? FEM: Yes, sir. Do that.
11. (Q) Mr. Cayce, I want you to answer just one more question. What is the exercise for the head and neck that you have given? (A) "Mr. Cayce, I want you to answer just one more question. What is the exercise for the head and neck that you have given". The circular motion; the forward and back motion, and to the side. FEM: Yes, sir. Thank you. EC: Thank you.
