1. FEM: Now, Mr. Cayce, you are going to sleep. (Pause) Now, Mr. Cayce, you are asleep, and all of the organs of your body will function properly. You will hear me and answer all of my questions. You have before you tonight the body of Mrs. [2224] and the body is present in this room. You will give me the condition of the kidneys, gall bladder, liver, stomach and nerve forces; also give the cause of all abnormal conditions in this body that you may find, and the remedy that will restore all the organs of this body to normal action and health, and the length of time necessary for a permanent cure. Mrs. [2224], present in this room.

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here. Now this body is very good throughout. We find some abnormal conditions in the system. Those have to do with the functioning of organs; and we find some conditions that are produced by the conditions existing in the capillary circulation, which have to do with the circulation. Now, these are the conditions as we find in this body: The blood supplying force in the system is very good, except that the pressure at times shows the condition as existing in the hepatic circulation that produces the over-stimulus to the heart and forms into the arterial circulation the condition that exists there, yet not organic conditions exist in the heart action, rather that of an expression to the condition that exists in the hepatic circulation, and it in its action over the system throws to the pulmonaries at times too much of the heart forces or blood, and the force rushes back to the heart, creating the condition that of the action of the pressure as shown to the circulation. See? FEM: Yes.

3. The digestive tract throughout we find shows this effect, that has been produced in the liver itself. We have a plethoric condition existing in one lobe of the liver, that of the left lobe, it showing its expression by the action of the nerve centers and of the replenishing forces that this is supposed to supply to the system. See?

FEM: Yes.

4. In its excretory functioning in the hepatic circulation the effect is also shown in the action of the kidneys, in its attempt to create the balance of force as expressed in the system between the liver and kidney circulations, or the functioning of the two organs acting on the system as they do, yet we find the blood forces well balanced, even for the condition that exists through either of these organs themselves but the expression of this to the circulation becomes most marked through the action of the liver itself on the whole system. In nerve force in the body through the cerebrospinal force, we find the body well. See? FEM: Yes.

5. The action of the cerebrospinal forces is good throughout the whole system, yet there are reflexes that come through the sympathetic system that show the action of the nerves that bring too much of the circulation at times to the throat and the larynx. These only are expressions of congestion as produced through the system and thrown out by the lymphatic circulation in its action. That is local. Through the spiritual forces and their action over this body we find these are good. These are above the normal in the physical and its action with the spiritual forces within the body itself. Perfect co-ordination is seldom found as well as they are in this body. To create perfect equilibrium through this system, we would take two forces in the system to create the balance of equilibrium or equal forces of those needed to produce the proper incentives to the circulation, and to the digestive tract, also. We would take this in the system: One-half gallon of rain water; we would add four ounces of Wild Cherry bark. This would be reduced by simmering to one pint. See? FEM: Yes.

6. This would be strained, and while warm we would add three drams of Balsam of Tolu; twenty minims Eucalyptus; one grain Heroin. For the condition through the intestinal tract, we would take this: Sage, eight ounces to one-half gallon of water - rain water, reduced by simmering to one quart; add to this four ounces of Cane Sugar; eight ounces Spiritus Frumenti, fifteen grains Ambergris; three drams Cinnamon, preferably in the bark or stick. See? FEM: Yes.

7. The dose of this would be a tablespoonful night and morning; the dose of the first as would be taken only just

before retiring, to prevent the action of the mucus forces through the body in coming too much through the action of the emunctories. See? FEM: Yes.

8. Do that.

9. (Q) Mr. Cayce, this body has had a pain in her back right under her right shoulder. What caused that and what does cause it? (A) Mr. Cayce, this body has had a pain in the back under the right shoulder; what causes that. The condition as we have given of the left lobe of the liver in its action on the blood forces. See? FEM: Yes. And its reflexes to the pulmonaries. See? FEM: Yes. That of the force that we have given, that is to be acted on by the sage in this, that is to be taken in the system, is to act directly on the functioning of the lobe of the liver; that of the bark with the eucalyptus is to act on the force on the pulmonaries for removing these conditions through what we have given. FEM: Yes. The action of the spiritus frumenti with that of the ambergris is to act on the kidneys with the hepatic circulation. See? Follow these. FEM: Yes.

10. We are through.

11. Now, Mr. Cayce, you will forget all about this reading that you have given. You are feeling all right, and all of the organs of your body will function properly. You are feeling splendid. Now, wake up in two minutes feeling fine and all right, and absolutely free from headaches.
