1. HLC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2227]; this we have had before.
3. As we find, there are some reflexes or results still apparent through the system from the old disturbance as when we last had same here.
4. However, this has gradually grown to be partially constitutional, and now partially of an acute nature.
5. These are the conditions as we find them with this body:
6. The blood supply indicates that there are forms of toxic forces being emptied into the blood stream that are NOT being cared for by the organs of elimination of such through the regular circulation - the liver, the kidneys and the lungs; or the respiratory system.
7. Consequently, we find that constantly - with any great taxation to the body, where strength and vitality are used, - the body easily tires and a little temperature is caused, or at least at times a feverish condition through the system.
8. As we find, this is a general lacking in the glandular forces of the excretory functionings of the liver to throw off these poisons, as well as a low activity or reaction to the glands of the INNER thyroid activity.
9. Also there are those general conditions which exist in the nasal passages, the frontal and upper antrum, that are constantly a source of irritation to the general circulation. This becomes then a contributory cause to the body functionings.
10. There are also some subluxations - or they will be indicated more as cold areas - along the 2nd, 3rd and 4th dorsal; with corresponding areas - alternating - on the right and left side of the body at the 2nd and 3rd cervical

areas. These as we find contribute to the lack of proper circulation through the soft tissue, or the mucous and lymph circulation of soft tissue of face, throat, head and nasal passages.
11. Hence the stimulation and correction of the subluxations, with stimulating treatments to the whole of the dorsal and cervical area, done mechanically (that is, osteopathically), will be of material aid.
12. Each day for five days we would take one minim of Atomidine in half a glass of water (before any meal of morning). Then leave off three days, take again five days, leave off three days, take again for five days, and so on. This is not only an antiseptic to the circulatory system, but WITH the osteopathic adjustments will tend to be a purifier or cleanser for the whole of the glandular system.
13. To stimulate the gastric flow, as to aid the liver and the kidneys, as well as the respiratory system, in meeting the overburdened activity of the general disturbances through the body, we would prepare a tonic in this manner:
14. In 8 ounces of Distilled Water put 3 ounces of Garden Sage (or Clary Flower). Let this come to a good boil. However, do not boil in tin - rather use enamel, with an enamel or glass cover. Set aside, allow to cool somewhat, - then strain or filter. Then, add - IN THE ORDER NAMED: Gordon Gin.......................1/2 pint, Ambergris, dissolved in 1 ounce of Grain Alcohol................15 grains, Cinnamon...........................1 stick, broken in two and allowed to dissolve in the solution; though it may form a little dreg, it is a stimulant for the gastric flow of the stomach itself; Tincture of Stillingia...........1/4 ounce. Shake the solution before taking. The dose would be a teaspoonful after each meal and at bedtime.
15. Do all of these. Be mindful or careful that there are not the attempts to digest fried foods, nor too much of starches. But have PLENTY of the juices and fresh RAW vegetables; especially carrots, both raw and cooked.
16. Occasionally, once a week, we would add to the diet a Jerusalem artichoke (one about the size of a hen egg); one time raw, the next time cooked. This will aid in clarifying or purifying the glands, especially as related to the pancreas and the kidneys, so that there will be less sediment Eat this with the meal.
17. For the antrum, prepare a combination as an inhalant.

Put this in a large mouthed bottle, with two vents into same - neither of these long enough to enter the solution. Hence use a six to eight ounce bottle. The solution would be prepared in this manner:

To 4 ounces of Grain Alcohol (at least 90% proof), add - in the order named: Oil of Eucalyptus.................20 minims, Compound Tincture of Benzoin......15 minims, Solution of Benzosol (Benzosol may be dissolved in alcohol)....10 minims, Rectified Oil of Turp..............5 minims, Tolu in Solution..................20 minims. Keep the vents tightly corked except when to be used for inhaling - then shake the solution, remove both corks, and inhale through the nostril deep into the throat and lungs; also inhale into the mouth for the throat and lungs. This is only as an antiseptic to the soft tissue of throat, face and lungs. This will materially aid in reducing temperature. Do not spray this solution, but inhale only the fumes that arise from the shaking of same. Do this three to four times each day.
19. Carry out all the rest of the applications suggested as to osteopathic corrections, diet, and the outer properties to be taken.
20. Doing these, we will find relief and help for this body.
