1. EC: We have the body here. Now we find there are those conditions as cause distress in the physical functioning of this body. These have to do with the varied effects as are created in the physical functioning, especially this is seen in the coordination of the circulatory system as is affected between the lymphatic and the capillary circulation.
2. These conditions as we find are in that state of lying almost dormant. Hence have been hard to meet in the variation as effects produced in the functioning of organs as affected by this condition, in the varied cycles of functioning.
3. These then are conditions as we find them in this body, [2228] we are speaking of, present in this room.
4. First, in the blood supply. Here we find that the heart's action and the pressure as is produced in the circulation varies at one period - maybe below or sub-normal; again we may have an abnormal pressure. Yet no organic heart trouble exists.
5. In the circulation as has been given, here we find there are varied conditions where the blood in changing from the artorial [arterial] to the venous circulation forms in varied capillary ends that brings to the lymphatics a condition of patoral [plethora (?)]; hence, giving in the muscular and the tissue portions of the body, as is found in various parts of the trunk portion of system, that impression that raises or lowers this condition existent in that as a direct circulation or pressure as governing the heart's action. No organic derangement - yet we find at times the fullness in the capillary, the fullness in the lymphatic that causes the depressions and repressions to the system.
6. In the nerve seat, here we find much of that that is the seat of the causes of disturbances in this body. In times back, (for we find here is histology, not as a condition) we
2228-1 Page 2
find in times back this condition arose when there was a subluxation produced in the lower lumbar region. This brought to the sacral, the lower end of the cerebrospinal system distress that brought about repressions in the functioning of the liver and the eliminations as were eliminated through these channels.
7. In the effect as created in the system to meet the needs of those conditions there were established in the lumbar region those conditions that brought about this over-charging or the changing in the pressure as produced in this body; hence the condition then arose.
8. This is 10 to 11 years ago.
9. These conditions now exist in the nerve system at present. In the lower lumbar we find that the branch ends of the cerebrospinal nerve system show the repressions as created there.
10. Reflexly we find too much of the incentive for circulation toward the upper portion and toward the frontal portion of the body. This then gives a poor elimination through the lymphatics to bring about that condition as has been created in the repression in the blood supply.
11. In the functioning of the organs, here we find most in their disturbed condition from reflex conditions as created in blood or circulation, not blood itself, for the elements of the blood would show good in their replenishing, in their rebuildings; hence, this has caused often a misapplication of conditions as applied to the system to meet the needs of those as caused distress to the body.
12. In the nerves we find that in their action to the functioning organs as in brain forces here so often have impressions been made that the body often loses that self-control of self to meet the needs of a physical functioning.
13. Now we are speaking of physical, not mental, for the body is well mentally balanced.
14. In the action of the nerve system as disturbed between cerebrospinal sympathetic sensory system, often we find the sensory system taking on that of a supersensitiveness, as is seen even in the circulation as is produced through the upper portion of the body or from the central nerve that supplies the incentive for circulation through head and through the neck and shoulder. Hence depressions in a low, dull headache at times, acting through the eyes flushing as of the depressions as come through the whole of the sensory system and the reaction from same is as of a dull lethargic feeling over the whole body.
15. Bronchial, lungs and larynx are very good considering
2228-1 Page 3
that the capillary, the lymphatics of the body do not coordinate in their circulation either of the new or the regular blood supply as is carried especially through these portions of the system.
16. Heart's action as given, at times the pulsation below normal, again very much above normal - apparently unable to be controlled save when the body will take self in hand, forget the conditions as it were, and forces the issue with self.
17. In the digestive system, here again we find a reaction. This produced rather from a nervous digestion - that is with depressions or repressions in the system.
18. We find that many things that ordinarily agree, disagree with the body in assimilating or being assimilated through the system.
19. The emunctories of the liver and hepatic circulation show the effect of the lymph disturbance, especially towards digestion at such times; hence the eliminations become clogged from this reflex action.
20. In the ileum plexus we find there some repression produced by that causing the disturbance in the lumbar and sacral region in times back; hence we find the ascending colon shows this has dropped forward, not as a prolapsus, not as adhesion, but as of just to loose body by the lack of the system to hold through the functioning of muscular functioning of muscular forces in system that period of the organism in proper line.
21. The liver, the kidneys - these show distresses at times - others clear in their functioning, for much has been applied to the system in various conditions. Yet we may meet the needs of all of these forces by consistency and by heat, that produces rather than effects as have been created in the body by the condition existent for a period of time.
22. First, we would rest from mental and physical labors as soon as the body can make the mental meet the needs of the physical - that is, set a certain period for self when certain arrangements have been made as regarding the associations and relations. Rest from two to three months and during that period have first those applications of sea salt and sand bath that will create a different vibration in the lumbar and sacral region. Then through deep manipulation, correct those conditions that produce the depressions in sacral lumbar and coccyx. These will relieve that pressure as is causing improper incoordination in the circulatory and in the nerve system, taking while these are being properly adjusted these properties:
23. First, prepare as this: To 16 ounces of distilled water add:
2228-1 Page 4
Wild Cherry Bark.....................4 ounces, reduce by simmering, not boiling to half the quantity itself. Dissolve Beet sugar...........................2 ounces, in Hot water............................2 ounces, and add to same; then add Tincture Valerian..................1/4 ounce, Elixir Calisaya....................1/2 ounce, Oil of Sassafras...................1/4 ounce, Essence Peruvian Bark...............30 minims, Tincture Capsici.....................5 minims, Essence of Yellow Dock Root........1/4 ounce. Shake this solution well again before each dose is taken. The dose should be 1/2 teaspoonful after each meal, and don't eat too much.
24. Let the diet be, while these adjustments, treatments, the baths, the sweats that will come from the application of sea and sand in that applied, those of preferably the green vegetables that carry most of nerve rebuildings force in the body - those principally that grow above the ground. Do that and we will find at the end of the period the body will be near normal.
25. Ready for questions.
26. (Q) Who should correct the condition in lumbar and coccyx or who would be a good one to do this work and what lumbar should be corrected? Should heat be applied with the osteopathy? (A) A good osteopath applying the heat of salt and sand and the fourth and last lumbar-sacral, second and third coccyx need correction. Anyone that will follow instructions. Those that wouldn't follow instructions wouldn't make corrections, applying heat of the salt and sand before the corrections are made each time.
27. (Q) The eye - what about the eye trouble? (A) As given, this reflects from those conditions existent in the lumbar and sacral region by the overtaxing of the circulation to the third nerves to the face as given. These bring the irritation or too much blood not taken away as shown by the effect of the lymphatic and capillary circulation, just as flushes carry over the face a feeling of flow of blood away and to the head; yet from the sensory system through the sympathetic nerves as they coordinate, these do not carry the blood away; hence, irritation from
2228-1 Page 5
poor eliminations. Meet the seat, the cause of the trouble, we will correct the conditions in the body. Do that.
28. (Q) Should the eye be kept shaded? (A) Preferably use colored lens till corrections are made.
29. (Q) Should salt and sand be put in a cloth bag and heated or placed on the spine without the bag? (A) Salt and sand should be applied directly to the spine by the applications as would be made for such conditions and the heat applied through same. See.
30. (Q) Who does this work with hot salt and sand bag? (A) Whoever will do it. We have given the corrections for this to be done.
31. (Q) Will a hot lamp or reflector or light put over the salt and sand be sufficient heat? (A) This should be applied through wet steam or through that as would be applied to the body in making this application.
32. (Q) That is all of the questions. Is there any other advice that you would give this body as regards his health? (A) We would make these corrections as has been given, for we will find much relief from those conditions mentally and physically as have long disturbed this body, for through the physical the whole mental and spiritual function, and the whole is as one.
33. We are through.
