1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time. You will diagnose the case thoroughly, giving the cause of the existing conditions, also the treatment for the cure and relief of this body.

2. EC: Now, we find there are some conditions that need correction with this body, that it may develop more normal through the physical functions of the body.

3. These, then, are those conditions as we find in the physical forces of this body, [2230] we are speaking of. First:

4. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, in this we find the greater cause of distress in the body, through the improper catabolism [katabolism] of the system, for with this condition in the system the blood does not give the rebuilding forces in the system in such a manner as to build normally throughout the system, some portions of the system becoming over accentuated in their functioning to the detriment of others. This causes at times, too, the distress as is produced in the digestive organs, as in the retraction from same, those conditions in the capillary circulation.

5. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, in this we find, with this condition as existent in the circulation, those centers under which various organs function that are in line or in that position where the blood changes in its distribution, the depletion causes at times relaxation in centers when there should be the opposite action, and vice versa, as is seen with the condition produced in the sensory system, from which the trouble arises in same.

6. IN THE ORGANS OF THE BODY, brain forces very good, and the condition of development shows that of that as given in accentuated centers in system.

7. In throat, bronchials, lungs, larynx, these good in their individual functioning, yet show at times the stress of the blood condition, yet the developing body causes the system

to respond better than would be in a fully developed body in this respect. Hence the necessity of correcting conditions at the present time, rather than allowing the condition to so weaken portions of the system through continual accentuation in various functioning organs, and permanent distress, or dis-ease, given to those particular portions involved at that time; the cause of this condition being that of outside bacilli entering the system, causing inflammation in the mucus glands of the system and, becoming inflamed, causing tissue to be enlarged; the system, attempting to adjust itself, threw, as it were, out of balance in the elimination and assimilation of the system. Hence the organs of elimination become involved in the condition, and show engorgement in both poles - that is, the liver and the kidneys. The kidneys at times too active - at others suppressed. Hence the condition of an unbalanced, or of the catabolism [katabolism] being abnormal.

8. To meet the condition at the present time, first there should be the correct adjustments, osteopathically, made in all portions of the cerebrospinal system, so as to produce the better unison of a functioning system. This, as we see, with the first three to five such adjustments, would produce some irritation to the eliminating system, which must be brought about by stimulating the liver's action in eliminating in system. With this, add those vibrations of heat (electric light heat), applied along the spine when the adjustments are made. This will bring the better capillary circulation and bring the normal conditions in at least thirteen to twenty-six such treatments, these treatments being varied to meet the changes as will be found in the system, responding to the correct incentives from each center as adjustments are made along the cerebrospinal system. The sooner these adjustments, the sooner the equilibrium in system is brought about, better will be the after effects for this body.

9. Do that.

10. We are through.
