Time of Reading Unknown.
1. FEM: Now, Mr. Cayce, you are going to sleep. (Pause) Now, Mr. Cayce, you are asleep, and all of the organs of your body will function properly. You will hear me and answer all of my questions. You have before you the body of [2232], Birmingham, Alabama. Now, Mr. Cayce, tell me the physical and mental ailments that you find within this body that you have before you.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here. Now, the abnormal conditions in this body have to do with the functioning of the organs produced by a specific cause or hindrance in some portions of the body. See? FEM: Yes, sir.
3. Now, these are conditions as we find in this body here, - [2232] we are speaking of, Birmingham, Alabama. The blood forces throughout the system are normal in their functioning. Find a sufficient quantity, quality, of both red and white blood corpuscles. Their action over the system, so far as the functioning within themselves, is of normal force. See? FEM: Yes, sir.
4. The nerve forces throughout the body, from the twelfth dorsal up, function normally. Those below, we find, do not produce the proper functioning, caused from the condition existing here at the first lumbar vertebra, where we find there has been broken some of the ends of the cerebrospinal forces, so impinioned and broken connection between the other forces in the body as to prevent the proper functioning of all the locomotories. See? FEM: Yes, sir.
5. This don't prevent the circulation to the extent of impairing the circulation, only to the extent of non-use of the extremities here. You see? FEM: I see.

6. Those that govern the locomotories direct are in the sacrum. See? FEM: Yes, sir.
7. To relieve - to bring the normal condition to this body would be to relax by heat all this portion of the body from the twelfth dorsal to the lower end of the sacrum. See? FEM: Yes, sir.
8. Then to reunite the nerve forces that we find broken about the first lumbar ganglion. See? FEM: Yes.
9. This produces the impinionment to such an extent as to cause the differentiation of the locomotory forces, as shown here, as we have given. See? FEM: Yes.
10. This can be done through this if properly attended to, you see. FEM: Yes.
11. Though they show, that is, the locomotories, the sciatic nerves force all of the nerves of the lower portion of the body - the effect of not being fed from the proper nutriments. The new flow of nerve forces, if the proper connections, or when the proper connections, are made, will rejuvenate and bring about the normal use of the lower portion of the body here. See?
12. (Q) Yes, sir. How can they go about to reunite the broken nerves? (A) How can they go about to reunite the broken nerves. In the ganglion at the first lumbar, we find the nerve ends from this ganglion have become impinioned; that is, one around the other. You see? FEM: Yes, sir. When the vertebra itself was so bruised as to cause vast or unnecessary coagulation about this place; you see? FEM: Yes, sir. At this center; then when you remove this, and when you reunite these - taken over proper channels - by, of course, operation, they will be then in place again. See? FEM: Yes.

Do this, if we would bring the normal forces to this body.
13. (Q) That would even require a surgeon to perform that operation? (A) That would even require a surgeon to perform that operation. To be sure. Just use common sense, as we have given. No multiplication of words may be said. Do as we have given. We are through.
14. Now, Mr. Cayce, you will forget all about this reading we have given. You are feeling all right, and all of the organs of your body function properly. You are feeling good. Now, wake up in two minutes, just feeling fine and all right.
