Time of Reading 3:30 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., N.Y. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here. Now, we find there are conditions as disturb the physical functioning of the body. These do not at all times produce the same general effect as towards the disturbance. These causes of why the difference in the disturbance will be seen in the changes as are effective in the system. These conditions have to do with the functioning of organs, and this distress as comes at times. These, then, are conditions as we find them with this body, [2255] we are speaking of, present in this room. First:

2. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, here we find in quantity sufficient, in the quality at times deficient.

3. In the pressure, this changeable - because of the manner or the character of disturbance in the physical organism, as produced or produces the variation. Then, the condition is NOT that of organic heart trouble, but rather of the functional disorder as produces this variation in pressure.

4. In the elements or constituents in the blood supply, here too we find a variation as is ordinarily seen in a physical body, in that the character of the hemoglobin in its elements, as are described ordinarily as the plasm cell and as that that is the energy made up in vitim, or vitality, varies in the effect as is produced in the body. Then, we find THIS as a result in THIS PARTICULAR body. Not ordinarily, as has been given. At times the weakness in the whole general system may be fag, either from physical or mental exercise, as to where the body is generally depleted. This variation is in that plasm as produces the vitality of the system, ALTERING the effect of the pulsation as regarding the heart's functioning, as WELL as that of disorders as at times are seen in other organs from this depression. AGAIN we may find the same fag condition, or the depletion of this, when the RESULT is rather that of an OVER activity of the brain cells with a nerve depletion that wracks the whole system. These are results now, not causes.

2255-1 Page 2

The causes being in that, as we will see, of a condition existent in the cerebrospinal nerve system, in the form of lesions as affect the sympathetic cardiac forces as radiate in the nerve system from those centers in the 4th, 5th - yes, 3rd, 4th and 5th dorsal. These are those where at some time back, either by posture under stress or by injury exterior, these have produced this character of lesion. In the sympathetic system do we find this altering, or change as occurs at times - for with the reaction in the sympathetic and the secondary cardiac, these may produce those of an accentuated MENTAL reaction, or - they not responding - produce the general nerve depletion over the whole system. In the lower lumbar we find a sympathetic condition. This is reflex from over nerve taxation from the general assimilating system, and especially as to the effect of a high nerve tension on the glands of the system, as is related to the heat producing portions of the system, and affecting at times - not all times - those of the relation to the pineal and ITS effect upon the oversight, as it may be called, of the physical functioning organism of the body.

5. In the functioning organs themselves:

6. Brain forces are very good. Discrimination, discernment by the body, is accentuated by mental forces and by mental training of the physical body.

7. The throat, bronchia, lungs and larynx - these only show sympathetic reaction from cerebrospinal contraction, or from sympathetic contraction.

8. The heart's action, as given, is that of the nerve forces - rather than of organic disturbances.

9. The digestive system, as has been given, or surmised from same, at times gives distress. this rather a sympathetic, from conditions in the assimilating system, and of sympathetic conditions with the secondary cardiac's reaction, than from disorders from within itself, other than reflex.

10. The liver very good in its activity, considered with the effect as may be expected from conditions in a blood supply.

11. Spleen engorged, and at times given some concern to the body. The pancreas shown the effect of the spleen's activity, as it also does of certain characters of foods as may be taken by the body. These may be termed by some as the RESULT. It rather a CAUSE than a result. A cause from the plasm in the constructive forces of the system as related to its vitality, than of ORGANIC disorders, however.

12. In the hepatic circulation and through the kidneys, and especially in the gland just above the kidneys - adrenal glands - shows the effect of those disturbances at times.

2255-1 Page 3

Hence the disorders as come at times with the functioning of the lower hepatic circulation, or the liver and kidneys, and the affectation as of eliminations through same.

13. In the extremities at times there is seen the result of distraughtness of the character through the system.

14. In meeting, then, the needs of the condition of this body at this time, we would keep as much outside exercise as is possible, relaxing the body at given periods - mentally and physically. Do not over eat. Do not eat those things that are highly seasoned, or of too much meats, nor too much of WHOLLY vegetables, but rather a well BALANCED diet. Bewaring, rather, of pastries or too much sweets. Those of too much production of a character of alcoholic reaction in system is bad, but that that is of the nature that will PRODUCE in the system more of the vitamins especially through this system, or vitamin D. THESE will aid in the proper assimilations for the body.

15. A low form of electro-magnetic vibration will aid the system in rest, and in re-vitalizing the system. Equalizing the food value, the working value, or the exercise value, and the electro reaction - with the proper stimulation osteopathically - that gradually reduces those of the stresses in the lumbar, and ESPECIALLY reducing those in the upper dorsal. Keeping care that these is the proper coordination kept between the sympathetic, the cerebrospinal, as well as that of the cardiac forces, with those of the lower central nerve system and the upper vibratory forces, or the cardiac and the secondary forces of the body. Ready for questions.

16. (Q) Does body get enough sound sleep? (A) This would be the common surmise from that that has been given, that there is rest NEEDED for the body, physically AND mentally; or not enough of sound or restful sleep. Hence the low form of re-vitalization through the nerve reaction. The treatments osteopathically will aid the electrical reaction for better rest, as well as better play or work.

17. (Q) Are the processes of digestion and elimination proceeding properly? (A) These, as has been seen, are often disturbed by the nerve reactions in system. These are much BETTER than they have been. Keep, then, more especially the vitamins as given - especially of D - in food values, and we will find - added WITH the low form of an electro-magnetic force, or such as may be seen in the low sinusoidal, which would be reaction from first the 3rd dorsal, 2nd lumbar, the next application 4th to 5th dorsal, 4th lumbar, the next to the

2255-1 Page 4

5th, 6th dorsal, to the 5th and lower portion of the lumbar, the upper sacral, and to the 1st and 2nd dorsal. These contractions will aid in RELEASING for the system, that assimilation is bettered, for assimilation and elimination are the centralization of re-vitalizing a body. See?

18. (Q) Has body any internal or toxic poisoning? (A) Only when there are disturbances through the kidneys, or when there is seen an excess of eliminations through the kidneys, there may be expected - there are - the signs of toxic effects in the system. These are a natural result of trying to keep an equal balance between the upper circulatory system, or through that above the diaphragm and that below. Then, a mild eliminant is helpful, or evacuation of colon.

19. (Q) What about his nervous system generally? (A) That is as has been given. Centralized in that of the secondary cardiac reflexes, or the upper dorsals - and is produced either primarily from posture or from injury, for a lesion of the lateral nature exists there. At times extending from the 4th dorsal to the 6th, at other times only in the 5th and 4th and portion of the 3rd region, see? Do this as we have given, and the body may give much to others. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Ass'n office " " Cayce Hospital " " Dr. Berger
