Born June 16, 1908, in Ohio County, West Virginia. Time of Reading 11:00 to 11:40 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City.

1. GC: You will give the relation of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces, giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity, and that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: (In going back over years from the present - " - '35 - preparations, and change - '30 - " etc., on back to birth date.)

3. Yes, we have the records of that entity now called [2269].

4. In giving the interpretations of the records as we find them, these are chosen to be given with the desire and purpose that this be a helpful experience for the entity.

5. While the activities from the records as we find in the material plane have been numerous, all of these will not be indicated; for these only become as activative influences in the experience as the entity applies or overcomes or meets, or shuns, urges as related to the present experience.

6. So far as the activities from the astrological aspects are concerned, these are merely as urges, rather latent. Hence the astrological aspects would be rather nil, if there were the comparison made as to the influences the entity has allowed to urge or increase the activity.

7. Much sojourn in the earth makes for a nervous, erratic temperament at times; quite psychic, and this may be developed to those activities in which it may be a helpful influence as an aid to others, or it may be diverted to such an extent and become so personal in nature - by the activities - as to become detrimental rather than helpful.

8. Keep the feet on the ground. Study all phenomena, yes, - but let it express from within rather than so much from

2269-1 Page 2

without.

9. Hence in the interpretations here - these are given with the desire that there may be found that which answers within. For the body is physical, with all its attributes; mental with all the nervous urges, that may be influenced by both the latent and manifested emotions that may find expression in the physical; as well as the spiritual, that should find expression in mental and physical.

10. Know, then, in what ye believe, and Who is the author of thy faith, thy hope, thy purpose. Then study to show self approved unto thy Maker, who is revealed in Jesus, the Christ.

11. Know that the promises have been from old, "I will no longer be far away, but will write my purposes, my desires, upon the HEARTS of the children of men."

12. Then, let thy yeas be yea in HIM; thy nays be nay in Him; for He is the author and the giver of hope, of love, of life itself.

13. Then in Him live and move and have thy being.

14. To be sure, all forms of phenomena - that are of mental natures or experiences of disincarnate influences - bespeak of life eternal; but only in HIM is the truth and the light, - and they that climb up some other way defeat their own purposes, and make themselves fearful in purpose and desire oft.

15. In astrological aspects, as indicated - these are nil to a great extent, because of the great emotional natures that arise and manifest, have manifested, in likes and dislikes.

16. Do ye indeed know what jealousy and hate breed? Do ye know what longings and desires create, that are only gratifying the emotions of the body? and how they become as hangers-on in the form of habits that may undermine?

17. Then, only hope and faith, and kindness, and gentleness, brotherly love and patience, beget that strength, that harmony, that peace which is of the everlasting nature as promised in Him.

18. Then read - not merely read but analyze, as in its relationship to thee - the thirtieth chapter of Deuteronomy; then the fourteenth, fifteenth, sixteenth and seventeenth chapters of St. John; and know that they speak to thee!

19. And we will find that the nervous tension, the disturbance which has been a part of thy experience because of the emotions in the physical body, will be put away.

20. Then be not long-faced, nor as a goody-goody character of personage, but be ye good FOR something!

2269-1 Page 3

21. Know that as ye walk with Him in the promises that are given in those passages indicated, He abides with thee. And if He abides with thee, what CAN make thee afraid?

22. For, He is life, light, hope, patience, love; in its essence. And as ye manifest same in thy conversation, in thy thoughts, in thy dealings with thy fellow men, ye are indeed His.

23. As to the appearances in the earth and their effect upon the emotions, and the physical and mental urges latent and manifested in the present - these are many; yet all will not be given - only those that are a part of that to be met in self, and in its relationships to others, NOW, in the present.

24. And as the urges come about, then the various experiences in other sojourns, other relationships, may be indicated as being then a helpful force. For, only help is desired to be indicated for the entity here.

25. Before this the entity was in the land now known as Salem, Massachusetts; and in those activities that were as influences about same, in Connecticut and Rhode Island.

26. The entity was among those very close with the first of the activities there in which it was indicated that there were the influences or the forces from without causing noises, causing visions - yea, affecting the mental and physical activity of individuals or peoples.

27. Then in the name Marge Hemphill, the entity became mentally very disturbed; and took a great deal of persecution, even to the dipping, even to the attempts to eradicate those influences; causing eventually the breaking of the health in such measures and manners as to unfit the body for those activities of that experience, physically and mentally.

28. Thus those high emotional forces in contact or relationships with individuals occur at times. These reach such an extent at times as to become very upsetting in the physical and mental well-being of the entity.

29. Hence those injunctions as to the manners and means of seeking a renewing from within, through the determining as to Whom the entity may turn to for its search for its own self, and in the relationships to those activities which bring about influences that make for the keeping of the balance within self.

30. The abilities are here. The activities are thine. Keep them inviolate. Do not abuse them, but walk with Him in the way ye should go!

31. Before that the entity was in the experience following those activities which had brought to the peoples of the

2269-1 Page 4

promised land the reason for hope, in the activity of an individual entity through which the light of the world was seen among men - and abused by many.

32. Yet the entity caught many visions of same through the teachings and activities of those who were a part of the experience of the entity, in Pamphylia and the activities through that region.

33. The name then was Lydas. In the experience the entity was highly emotional, and desirous of giving body as well as purposes to the service; yet because of the fear of persecutions and activities, there came the disturbing experiences.

34. The abilities were expended then in the analyzing of the teachings of those various groups; as well as in embroidering and brocading, as they were expressed in those periods of activity.

35. Thus, all of these phases become as emotional or physical experiences for the entity in the present; as well as the abilities to hear voices afar; visions in colors of things as arise in the experiences of many.

36. These become the emotional forces as they manifest. These are well, provided the effect or the activity is looked to, rather than that which produces such in the experiences of those who control same. In other words, all such be estimated according to that it produces in the experiences of those who control same.

37. Before that the entity was in that sojourn during the activities of Pythagoras, with which the entity was closely associated.

38. Thus things of a technical and scientific nature, especially having to do with the body and the mind, are of special interest to the entity.

39. Hence in those fields of service as a technician, or datastician, the entity may find an outlet in which the psychological experiences as well as the psychic forces may be used - as in determining conditions physically which disturb the bodies of individuals.

40. Thus the X-Ray, the technical forces of examinations, bring especial influences - as the entity studied those through the associations of that period of activity.

41. In the name then Carpotholos, the entity gained mentally; lost as to spiritual activities; and in the present the entity is a very good argurer with others.

42. Before that the entity was in the Egyptian land, in the early periods of that reconstruction in which there were the divisions made of those peoples for the interpreting of the activities of individuals, in which their actions were in

2269-1 Page 5

keeping with those developments indicated by the manner of thought or purpose of each individual.

43. Thus we find the entity was a character analyst, or what in the present would be termed a datastician or a technician in the study and analysis of purposes and of people's thoughts - whether of individuals or of groups.

44. Thus, through such channels the entity may find greater activity. The entity in that sojourn was closely associated with the Priest, as well as some of those from the Atlantean experience.

45. Thus all forms of psychic phenomena, or mystical things, are of deep and vital interest to the entity. But keep them, my child, spiritualized - in Him, who is the GREAT Teacher, the GREAT Physician, the GREAT Healer! For in Him is the way and the truth and the light.

46. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, - these are as we have indicated.

47. Study and analyze manners of developing the psychic or soul forces of self; but in Him, my child - in Him!

48. Apply them in material things towards those activities as a technician or datastician - as would deal with minds and bodies of individuals. Thus in associations with physicians or hospitals or institutions of such natures would be the outlets for the entity's abilities, as these developings come.

49. And talk over most of thy experiences with HIM - rather than with peoples - who have their own way. But His way is perfect, and ye may find it in Him.

50. Ready for questions.

51. (Q) In what does my greatest happiness and development lie? (A) As indicated, in a service to thy fellow men through the abilities which are latent and that may be made manifest materially - if the spiritual attitude and aptitude is kept.

52. (Q) Are my present environment and work a help or hindrance to me? (A) As we have indicated, they may be made either. If there is the reliance upon those teachings as indicated, ye can make them a helpful experience.

53. (Q) To what extent am I permanently influenced by former unhappy experiences? (A) As these are allowed to become a part of the warp and woof of the thinking. Remember, the mind is the builder. They take hold; but if these are lost in Him and His promises, not only the physical disturbance of the neurosis may be eliminated, but the influences of unhappy experiences may become as nothing.

54. (Q) What have been my past associations with Edward [...]? (A) We do not find the entity here; though from the mental attitude it would be indicated that there were associations in the experiences just previous to the present sojourn.

55. (Q) What are my duties to Milton [...]? (A) The directing in those influences that bring harmony for each.

56. (Q) Have the words "X-Ray Technique" any special significance for me? (A) Analyze these in the light of that which has been given here, and as it has been a part of the study and analysis, so may it be a part of the entity's work here and now.
