Time of Reading 3:50 to 4:05 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City.

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes.

3. Now as we find, there are conditions which cause disturbances with this body.

4. These are rather of an insidious nature; that is, the causes for the upsetting, and the continued reactions as pressures upon the nerves, lie in conditions which are not easily apparent.

5. Then, these are conditions as we find them with this body, [2290] we are speaking of:

6. In the blood supply we find indications of disturbances that cause the reactions in the lymph - that becomes more disturbing through the assimilating and digestive system.

7. These as we find are catarrhal conditions in the lymph, or in portions of the digestive system. While apparently the stomach is not so much affected, the nerves of same ARE affected; causing periods when rest is not easily obtained, also a great deal of headache that presses DOWN as it were upon the body; burning at times through the eyes, nausea following same, etc.

8. Then, these are the causes and the natures of the greater disturbance.

9. This supplies to the nerve forces those plasms that replenish or rebuild same. This character of nerve disturbance upsets many portions of the system, producing an erratic pulsation at times, upsetting the activity of the liver and gall duct, making at times for excesses and at other times for a lacking in supply or in eliminations from the lower hepatic circulation - or the kidneys.

10. These, as we find, are conditions existent.

11. We find that there should be osteopathic corrections

made in the upper dorsal, through the cervical, and extending to at least the 9th dorsal; with that character of treatment which tends to more easily empty the stomach. While at times foods seem to pass too quickly, this is when there are contractions. These corrections in the 6th, 5th and 4th dorsal, coordinating the upper cervicals and the 9th dorsal, will materially aid in relieving the pressures.

12. After the heavier meal of the day - whether morning, noon or evening meal - take internally half a teaspoonful of ALCAROID; first dissolved in a small quantity of water, then the glass filled with water, and then another glass of water taken afterwards.

13. These as we find will materially aid the disturbances with this body, [2290].

14. Ready for questions.

15. (Q) How long before the daily and lengthy headaches may be relieved, if following these suggestions? (A) Within three weeks we should find a material change in this direction; and in six weeks they should be almost entirely relieved.

16. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file (6/26/40 GD's note: See extra sheet [which was enclosed] of directions for Osteopath. For information as to the value of following these directions carefully, we would refer you to a N.Y. osteopath who has had considerable experience with Mr. Cayce's Readings: Dr. Frank Dobbins, 551 Fifth Ave., N.Y.C. Let us know the name of the osteopath you choose, so we may ask him for a report on your case later.) .)
