1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2293]; this we have had before.
3. As we find, there was not the application of those things suggested. There would have been much better corrected conditions, if those applications had been made as suggested and when suggested.
4. These are conditions as we find them with this body in the present:
5. There are toxic reactions, and are from a complication. Not that the body is as yet very ill, but seldom does it feel at its best.
6. To be sure, the toxic forces tend to make for a form of anemia.
7. The toxic conditions, combined with some disturbance that has gradually grown through the activity of the pelvic organs, have produced a prolapsus through portions of the colon. This becomes a contributory cause.
8. This also tends to make for that scarcity of blood - and thus the pressure is abnormal. Hence the very poor circulation, especially in the superficial portions of the body, and those tendencies for the cold and warm flushes to arise at periods.
9. There are tendencies for there to be an uneasiness throughout the whole system.
10. As we find, the causes - now - are those pressures that exist in the cerebrospinal system, especially in the end or coccyx portion of the spine, in the lumbar axis and through the upper dorsal and cervical area.
11. These are the basis of the disturbances that have gradually grown, and - if allowed to continue - may grow still more on the system.
12. Hence in the present we would use corrective measures, as well as palliative measures to keep down the disturbances

which exist.
13. For the necessary corrective measures we would use osteopathic adjustments. Have these about twice a week until about twelve have been taken. Then leave off for three weeks, then have another series of at least that long.
14. These treatments should be given with special reference to the conditions in the coccyx, in the lumbar and sacral, AND in the upper dorsal and through the cervical areas; to stimulate better circulation, to remove the pressures upon the general nerve forces of the body.
15. Also during these periods we would have the colonic irrigations, at first about ten days apart. When the second irrigation is given, about ten days after the first, if there are still those tendencies of mucous in the areas of the colon, then have another in about ten days. If there is the lack of the mucous, then do not have the irrigation under at least two or three weeks, but DO have the third - during the period of the osteopathic adjustments, or the rest periods between the series of adjustments. In the first cleansing solution use salt and soda, and in the last rinsing solution use an antiseptic that is non-irritating to the colon area - such as Glyco-Thymoline.
16. In the diet - keep close to those foods that carry plenty of A, D and B-1 vitamins. Hence, use plenty of the re-inforced cereals, also the orange and grapefruit in their regular season - but do not take the cereals AND the citrus fruits at the same meal - rather alternate these - taking one on one day, the other the next, and so on. Do use plenty of fish and fowl in the diet; preferably salt water fish for the body, rather than fresh fish.
17. Do these and we should bring bettered conditions for this body; we will make corrections of the irregularities in the Periods, we should be able to correct the toxic forces and rid the body of these dull headaches, these cold, chilly feelings that come at times.
18. Ready for questions.
19. (Q) What causes the trouble in my throat? (A) This is from the poor circulation through or between the superficial and deeper circulation. During the first four or five of the osteopathic adjustments, if there is particular reference made to coordinating the cerebrospinal and sympathetic for the activity of the mucous membranes to the throat and head, and the organs of the sensory forces, this should be corrected.

" " Ass'n file [Ques. answered without being asked: Will colonic irrigations help eliminate toxic conditions? If so, how often should they be taken? Do I have low blood pressure?] (See extra sheet [which was enclosed] of directions for Osteopath. We would refer you to: Dr. J. R. Shackleford, Jackson Bldg., Nashville.) )
