1. GC: You will give the relation of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity and that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: (In going back over years from the present - " - '38 - changes - '35 - changes - " etc., on back to birth date.)
3. Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as or called [2296].
4. In giving the interpretations of the records as we find them here, these are chosen with the desire that this be a helpful experience to the entity, enabling it to comprehend, to be aware of the purposes for which it entered this present experience; that it may through same be the fulfillment of those purposes for which it entered this experience.
5. [See 2296-1, Par. B2] Some unusual environs, as we find, are a portion of the urges that arise - of a latent and a manifested nature.
6. Many are the influences that prompt the activity; rather than as urges, though many act in the manner of latent and manifested urges.
7. Things that have any semblance of having been used, occupied or considered of an ecclesiastical nature, have to the entity special influence, in a KIND of reverence; yet most individuals do not consider the entity as being over spiritual.
8. The entity's high mental abilities are indicated through the astrological aspects of Uranus and Mercury. These make for those activities at periods in which there are unexpected flights of learning, or of realization and the
2296-1 Page 2
"feel" of things, conditions or experiences.
9. Hence the entity continues, and will continue, to be something of a mystery and unexpected in its activities. This is well to apply in the relationships to the home, though this - to be sure - could be stressed in a way as to become a boomerang to the entity's best interest. Yet it is one way to hold the activities to make a home more beautiful.
10. Keep on the equal in studies with the companion, if the home would be kept always intact. This for THIS entity, as indicated in the experiences and urges, becomes a NECESSARY activity through this sojourn.
11. In Venus and Jupiter we find the love of the beautiful; the exceptional abilities in the little niceties that go to make up the activities in the entity's meeting of others, in its abilities as an entertainer or conversationalist.
12. And, as indicated from the Jupiterian influence, the abilities putting such into words, either in script or in conversation, should make an outlet for the activities that would become a development not only for the entity but as also an aid to others.
13. The greater effort should be made to keep those abilities for the entity to see the ridiculous in the situations that are so oft those upon which friendships, homes or the like, are broken. Cultivate the seeing of the ridiculous, or the funny side also. This is a channel of activity in which the entity might find it would succeed in an extra way or manner.
14. As the appearances of the entity in the earth - these that we find as influencing the entity in the present are quite varied, as would appear from the present environs or surroundings. Yet remember the purposes for which each soul enters a material experience; oft completing jobs, it might be said, through being a helpmeet for situations that have been a part of the entity's experience through various types of sojourns - not so much towards individuals as towards conditions that would affect many individuals.
15. Before this, then, the entity was in the land of the present sojourn; as an activative force of those influences that had much to do with the forming of the type of entertainments used in those periods, for those in authority or power in this particular land of the entity's sojourn.
16. Then in the name Betty Littlegood, the entity was one who rather aided those leaders in the planning of entertainments in good taste for state or special occasions.
17. It was during those periods when the one who is the present companion was in the formative years, though the
2296-1 Page 3
entity was then much older and was associated with him as a governess.
18. Hence the inclinations in the present to at times counsel or direct the choices made by that associate or companion. This is well at times, but consider all phases of the activities and abilities of the entity to make for the questionings under some circumstances. Yet it is meeting these very circumstances, or these very problems that will arise in the experience of the entity during the present sojourn.
19. Before that the entity was in the Roman and the Palestine land; being in companionship with those put in authority over both the northern portion of Africa and of the Palestine or promised land.
20. It was during those days of Claudius Caesar - and then in the name Cleoton, the entity aided especially in the activities with those who brought about the changes that were wrought by the individuals in the Roman authority accepting the teachings of those peoples of the Palestine land.
21. Thus we find in the present the deep religious "sense," and the abilities to analyze the promptings of many of VARIED faiths. This should especially fit the entity for its activities and associations under the varied environs through which it SHOULD pass, during those experiences in the household of the diplomatic service. For, as might be termed, the entity is naturally the little diplomat, ever. The entity has indicated such through its activities and associations thus far, and should throughout this experience or sojourn.
22. The entity gained in those experiences, and thus is especially fitted for those activities dealing with such things or relationships.
23. Before that the entity was in the Egyptian land, being especially active in the characters of music of the temple, - in the services especially as related to the Temple Beautiful.
24. Thus the entity is a very good dancer, and is very much influenced or urged by various types of stringed instruments. Those that have a sad note, or especially an unusual body rhythmical note, have a special influence or urge - or the tendency to urge the entity on to activity. These are well, provided they are kept ever as sacred in the emotions of the body as well as the mind in relationship to same.
25. The name then was Sitk-El-Un.
26. As to the abilities of the entity in the present - that
2296-1 Page 4
to which it may attain, and how:
27. For the entity's special activities we find that writing would be an outlet, as indicated; especially of the character or nature indicated; for there are great abilities in the household or in relationships with anything having to go with diplomatic activity, at home or abroad.
28. There is the ability to do the right thing at the right time in relationships to people of various faiths, as well as people of various stations in their life's experiences.
29. All of these are the outlets through which the entity may find opportunities for manifesting that for which each soul enters - to be a channel, to live to the highest ideal that is the concept of the individual.
30. Keep the faith in self and in thy abilities, but keep them in accord with thy ideals in spiritual things.
31. Ready for questions.
32. (Q) What were my former relationships to my present husband, [2167]? (A) Rather as a counselor or instructor; once the governess.
33. (Q) What guidance can you give me for making this marriage highly constructive and successful? (A) Analyze those abilities and those things necessary to make it so, as we have indicated.
34. (Q) Please give me helpful suggestions for guiding my little daughter, [...]. (A) These had best be given by paralleling the experiences and those things needed; for the daughter will guide the entity - more than the entity will guide the daughter - in a few years!
35. (Q) Any other advice? (A) This as we have given is well to be analyzed in the light of the urges, in the light of the abilities, in the light of the circumstances and the emotions. Do that, if the best would be gained from same.
