1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2310].
3. Now as we find, there are disturbances; but these are more inclinations and tendencies in the present that cause anxieties, discomforts; not having assumed proportions that might be called disease or of a constitutional nature, save in tendencies only.
4. These need correction, however; else they may cause an unbalancing in such a manner as to bring greater discomforts, and conditions with which it will be harder to deal.
5. Then, these are conditions as we find them with this body, [2310].
6. The blood supply indicates some glandular disturbance, especially of a thyroid and an adrenal nature.
7. Thus we have those periods of languidness, of heaviness across the small or middle of the back; periods when the digestive system is upset, and shows that the blood supply is unbalanced by the periods of a great deal of excess of acidity through the system.
8. These as we find arise from two causes; one becoming a contributory cause to the other.
9. Owing to a subluxation existing through the lower lumbar and in the 9th dorsal area, there are those tendencies for the cutting off of the supply of energies that aid, or that supply circulatory impulse of every nature to the activity of the thyroids AND the adrenals.
10. This in turn, with the upset digestive forces, causes an unbalancing in the creating of the proper influence of chemical forces through the system, allowing an acidity, causing bad taste in the mouth at times, tendencies towards a dull headache; disturbance through organs of the sensory

system - as heaviness to eyes, lack of the ability to gain recuperative forces through rest; even periods when there is the tendency towards insomnia.
11. Hence as we find, in meeting the needs of the general condition:
12. We would give that there be a series of the hydrotherapy treatments from a physiotherapist; that is, a light cabinet sweat - not severe - just sufficient to start the perspiratory system to full activity. This would be followed by the hot and cold showers, and then a rubdown; followed by a massage with oils - an equal combination of Olive Oil and Peanut Oil. Massage thoroughly along the cerebrospinal system, making minor adjustments in the sacral, lumbar and 9th dorsal; coordinating with same the upper dorsal and cervical area. Following such massage and adjustments, have a rubdown with alcohol AND salt rum.
13. If there are disturbances with regular daily eliminations, we would have the colon purified or cleansed by a colonic irrigation once a month or the like, along with the regular hydrotherapy treatments.
14. It is well that the body use the Radio-Active Appliance for one hour each evening when ready to retire, or about three times each week. Keep the attachment plates very clean, and the attachments to wrist and ankle firm but not so tight as to stop circulation.
15. Then, the diet:
16. We would keep away from fried foods, or quantities of greasy foods.
17. Have vegetables preferably that are cooked in their own juices, as in Patapar Paper.
18. Have one meal each day consist principally of raw fresh vegetables; such as carrots, lettuce, celery, tomatoes, onions or the like. All or portions of these may be taken at once, according to the desire and the appetite.
19. Especially have cereals of morning that carry extra quantities of vitamin B-1. Of cooked cereals, have preferably oatmeal - and cut oats rather than rolled oats. Of dry cereals, preferably use Kix. These may be taken with fruits if so desired, especially yellow peaches or rhubarb, or small berries - as the whortleberry, raspberry, blackberry or the like.
20. Occasionally have orange juice for the morning meal, but this not oftener than once a week - and then not at the same meal with the cereal. This will not be found most advantageous (the orange juice) except occasionally.
21. Of meats - only fish, fowl or lamb, and none of these ever fried!
2310-1 Page 3
22. Use whole wheat bread.
23. Also use artichoke, both the bulbous (or the Jerusalem) and the leaf eating character. This taken at least once or twice a week will clarify the glandular forces of the system, equalizing that pressure, and aiding the activity of the pancreas, the spleen, with the general circulation.
24. Doing these things, we will find that the conditions will improve and bring near normal forces for this body, [2310].
25. Ready for questions.
26. (Q) When did this condition begin? (A) About six years ago the subluxation, and gradually aided or hindered in creating that unbalanced condition.
27. (Q) What caused this subluxation? (A) A strain to the body.
28. (Q) What exercise? (A) Walking is the best exercise.
29. (Q) Would you recommend a physiotherapist for giving me the hydrotherapy treatments? and for making the adjustments? (A) Any that will do the treatments in the manner indicated. If the first approached does not, then try the second. Insist that they follow the directions!
30. (Q) What type of work is best for my mental and physical development? (A) Artist!
31. We are through for the present. Two copies to Self Copy to Ass'n file (See extra sheet of directions [which was enclosed] for Physiotherapist. Let us know the name of the one you choose, so we may put him on our mailing list for future reference. See folder [which was enclosed] describing the Radio-Active Appliance. At your convenience please let us have a history of your case to the time of obtaining the Reading, so we may have something with which to compare our information.) )
