1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2311].
3. Now, as we find, from the description or analysis of the disturbances, it may appear that many conditions are wrong. Yet, as we find, in the system's attempting to adjust itself there is produced rather the complication of disturbances; and with the correcting of the causes many of the symptoms or disturbing periods will be eliminated, so as to bring the much nearer to normal conditions for the body.
4. These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body, [2311] we are speaking of, present in this room:
5. The blood supply implies that there is a lack of energies being produced; thus a form of anemia, and combined with same the inclination at times for a form of strep to show itself through the blood system.
6. At such periods we find the general debilitation, or a general aching or heaviness throughout the body, with the inclinations for slight temperature, the feet and lower limbs especially quite heavy; periods when breath seems short, and general temperature; disturbance throughout the trunk portion of the body, and heaviness through the abdominal area.
7. These are the effects of the disturbance upon the circulatory system, especially as related to the assimilating and eliminating system; thus disturbing the liver and kidneys more than other disorders, AND the quickening of the pulse - of course - from the inclination of temperature.
8. In the nervous system, as combined with the glandular force, do we find rather the source or cause of the disturbances.
2311-1 Page 2
9. As we find, in those periods of the glandular forces' activity, from the natural changes that came about in eliminations, there was brought on a nervous disturbance through the system; with a great deal of anxieties as it were to the psychic forces, or the coordinations between the cerebrospinal and sympathetic nervous system.
10. Then, much of this nervous disturbance was brought about because of a subluxation which existed then (and is indicated in the present) in the lumbar (that is, the 4th lumbar axis) and through the sacral, and in the upper portion of the 9th dorsal and in the brachial center.
11. Most of the nervous system of the sympathetic nature was affected by such altering periods; when nothing tasted just right (which occurs even now at times); the sight or vision seems to be accentuated or disturbed, all of the organs of the sensory system become disordered in one manner or another.
12. These effects are from the general pressure of the subluxations, as well as the disturbance to the liver and the kidneys THROUGH their activity as related to the assimilating system.
13. Thus the poor eliminations occurring at times; the inability to get rest or for the rest from this anxiety, as it appears, in the physical forces of the body as related to the sensory forces; bringing insomnia or restless periods.
14. These we find bring at times hot and cold flushes, or the extremities at times appear to go to sleep easily - or to be tingly when the body attempts to move. These all are from the disturbance, or cause disturbance upon, the nervous system.
15. As to the organs of the body - these are sympathetic disturbances, as may be indicated from the general nervous system; though from the very nature of the nervous disturbance we find that at times through the lungs and through the liver area congestion may easily appear; and the body becoming overacid, any or all of these may become the disturbing areas at particular times.
16. In the digestive forces of the body, we find that the disturbance may best be described as a nervous digestion - or nervous indigestion; and there needs to be a better equalization throughout the physical forces of the body.
17. Then, in making applications for the beneficial influences in this body:
18. We would have corrections made, osteopathically, of those subluxations which exist in the lumbar, sacral, 9th dorsal and brachial center - or 1st, 2nd and 3rd dorsal; coordinating especially the upper cervicals with these
2311-1 Page 3
corrections, of course, as they are GRADUALLY made.
19. Have these about twice a week, until about ten or twelve such adjustments and treatments are given. Then have a rest period from same for about three weeks.
20. During the rest period from the adjustments, or at the beginning of the rest period, begin using the Radio-Active Appliance to aid in equalizing the general nervous system.
21. Also, from the very beginning of the treatments, take about a quarter teaspoonful of ALCAROID with whichever is the heaviest meal of the day; first dissolving this dosage in a small quantity of water, and then stir in a full glass of water, then drink another glass afterwards. Do this after the heavier meal of the day. This should not be taken more than once a day, and a bit later it may be taken only two to three times a week. But this will, with the corrections, aid in making for better assimilation.
22. Refrain from any fried foods.
23. If meats are taken, these should be rather sparingly taken, and only of fish, fowl or lamb.
24. At least one meal each day should consist principally of RAW vegetables; not altogether but principally. These should be such as fresh tomatoes, carrots (raw), lettuce, celery and the like. These should be thoroughly masticated when taken.
25. Do these consistently, persistently, and we will find near to normal conditions for this body, [2311].
26. Ready for questions.
27. (Q) Is it necessary to have my teeth pulled, as has been suggested? (A) With the corrections that we have indicated, and the use of an antiseptic such as Ipsab for the gums, only local attention needs be done. The condition does not arise from the teeth. The disturbance of the teeth arises more from the temperature and the nervousness through the system.
28. (Q) Is the present doctor satisfactory? (A) If there will be the administering of the adjustments in the manner indicated, satisfactory. But it will be necessary that these be done in the order and in the manner outlined. If he will abide by the suggestions here given, well. If he still prefers to do it his own way, then change. For we are reversing the general order, you see; corrections in the lower portion and coordinating the upper portion. But if he will do it in this manner, very well; otherwise, no.
29. (Q) What causes pelvis to hurt so much? (A) The subluxations in the lumbar and lower sacral area.

Do these and we will bring better conditions for this body.
30. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file (7/22/40 GD's notes: See extra sheet [which was enclosed] of directions for osteopath. See folders [which was enclosed] describing Radio-Active Appliance; see article [which was enclosed] [1800-24 Reports] explaining theory of the Radio-Active Appliance; also Ipsab. At your convenience, let us have a history of your case to the time of obtaining the reading, so we may have something with which to compare our information.)
