1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2314].
3. As we find, conditions have been rather serious.
4. We find that the sources of the disturbance arise from inflammation in the typhus [thymus] glands, as associated with the activity of the liver.
5. These conditions in the present show some response to those administrations being made.
6. Then, we would not change those applications; save we would add a gentle bathing of the cerebrospinal system at least twice a day with a weakened solution of grain alcohol; NOT rub alcohol but GRAIN alcohol - the proportions about one to twenty; one part alcohol to twenty parts water. Use this solution for bathing the body gently from the base of the brain to the 9th dorsal, twice each day. This will not only aid in keeping the fever or temperature more in a normal balance, but will give strength to the body in its abilities to form recuperative forces through the areas that absorb this into the system.
7. A little later, in about a week - or a five to ten day period - we would add to the diet the fresh grape juice - the juice from fresh grapes; the purple or pink grapes preferably, instead of the white grapes. Give about half an ounce once or twice a day. Do not give other than the fresh juice, however - or the juice squeezed from fresh grapes, this is helpful; that other than from the fresh grapes would not be so good. This would add sufficient of the properties to aid in creating a better balance with those conditions which have been disturbing to the body.
8. Ready for questions.

9. (Q) Is this condition a result of long standing? (A) A condition that is the result of a subluxed condition in the liver and the assimilating system. It has been of a gradual growth, but the temperature relieved and the changes wrought, AFTER there is the ability for the recuperative forces and activities, we find that massages would be most helpful. And we would correct (osteopathically) the subluxation existent in the 4th dorsal center; coordinating the 9th AND the cervical area with this correction. Do not attempt this, however, until there has been the ability for the body to rest or to sit up for a while.
10. (Q) What was the original cause of the trouble? (A) As indicated, those subluxations that hinder the perfect liver functioning.
11. (Q) What is the scientific medical name of disease? (A) Form of a strep, or a temperature in the blood stream, from the disturbance in the liver and typhus [thymus] glands.
12. (Q) How is the best way to present this information to those who are in the best position to help? (A) This should NOT be a hard condition, other than just asking that the nurse in charge give such at this time.
13. (Q) Who would be the best person to approach first? (A) This will have to be handled by those in charge, or who are making the arrangements and who are responsible for the body, to be sure.
14. (Q) Any other advice regarding this body? (A) These things we find, added to that being administered, would be the better conditions for this body.
15. We are through for the present. Two copies to [2175] (one copy for Dr. M. L. Richardson, Copy to Ass'n file Bankers Trust Bldg., to make the corrections - when the time comes for these treatments)
