Time of Reading 10:45 to 10:55 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., New York.

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes.

3. As we find, conditions have become rather far advanced - in the complications of a glandular reaction, as well as the effect of the slowed circulation and the poisons upon the heart.

4. However, we find that these may be materially aided, if there is sufficient rest AND those applications as we will suggest here administered in the present.

5. The blood supply indicates the unbalanced metabolism, a slowing of the circulation, disturbance with both the liver and the kidneys; as well as the effect upon the blood pressure itself.

6. The engorgement and the poisons or toxic forces as accumulate from the condition through the colon, as we find, would be materially aided by the use of colonics; not cold, but tepid or body-temperature Colonics. These we would give at least every third day until there is no sign of the mucous as will be indicted in the first one or two.

7. Also with such hydrotherapy treatments - which we would administer through a physiotherapist such as Backman or Reilly - we would have the general and gentle massage.

8. A response to the glandular disturbance would be found in the use of the Jerusalem artichoke as a part of the diet; one about the size of an egg eaten with the meal every other day; preferably one time raw, the next time cooked in its own juices (as in Patapar Paper - and prepared as a potato).

9. Refrain from any meats save fish or fowl, and these not fried.

10. Better eliminations, by the use of the massage and the irrigation, should reduce the pressure and make for better

metabolism; and then the required rest, that there be not the overtaxing of those disturbances in the circulation between heart, liver and lungs.

11. These as we find will bring aid for this body, if there will be the consistent and persistent application of same.

12. Do that.

13. Ready for questions.

14. We are through for the present. Two copies to Self Special Delivery (one to be given to the Copy to Ass'n file Physiotherapist who gives the treatments: Dr. L. H. Backman, 40 West 55th St., New York City. The Reilly Service, Atten. H. J. Reilly, R.C.A. Bldg., New York City) (Let us know which one you choose, so we may ask for a report from him later. If the Jerusalem artichoke is not found on the market at this time, it may be ordered from The John A. Salzer Seed Co., LaCrosse, Wisconsin. At your convenience please let us have a history of your case to the time of obtaining the Reading, so we may have something with which to compare our information.) )
