1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes.
3. As we find, decided improvements are indicated in the body since we last had same here. In some respects there is much more improvement than is indicated superficially. This is because of the lack of the exercises to give that activity in which the strength of the body finds a resistance for its better manifestation.
4. These we would do in the present:
5. Keep the Brandy as an inhalent at maximum strength, keeping it sufficiently close to heat to produce better evaporation - though NOT so close as to evaporate more than is used at the two periods of inhaling each day. This is an excellent antiseptic, and works well with the properties as may be assimilated from the use of the Calcios AND the Acigest used regularly in the system. And these will prevent those adherences, or prevent tissue that has already been involved from becoming too much of scar tissue.
6. Thus there will be prevented the necessity of the use of gas or air, from causing collapsing in the pleura or in the lung cavity itself in or from its use. For, taken properly, the fumes AND the gas from the Brandy - kept at full strength - will use the activities in such ways that the circulation will be much more effective, by its increase in the bodily forces from the use of these properties.
7. We would begin to attempt to use bodily exercises a little each day; that as conditions of the general body - as well as circumstances - permit.
8. Across the hips, and down the limbs and feet, we would use a massage with Peanut Oil; not a combination of oils, but just the Peanut Oil. This as a food for the nerves AND muscular forces will be most beneficial.
9. Begin with the body lying prone upon face. Begin at about the 2nd and 3rd lumbar, and very thoroughly - in a

circular motion - massage all that the body will absorb - across the sacral and the rump itself, and into those areas about where the pelvic bone joins with the lower limbs. Give this deep, thorough massage each day. Not that much oil is put on at a time - just what may be adhering to the fingers by dipping them in same, in a shallow container - as a saucer or the like. Continue this along the sciatic nerves to that portion under the knee; then along the muscular forces in the calf of the leg, coming down on either side; massaging away from the body rather than toward the body, but in a circular motion all the while. Extend the massage below the calf of the leg upon either side of the small bone and tendon to the heel, and then about the ankle, into that portion of the foot and heel - the instep portion; and then upon the back, over the limbs, in the same way and manner, especially with the knee, the ankle, and the upper portion of the foot and the front bursa, or in the foot, or that under the great toe and across the foot there.
10. This massage we would give THOROUGHLY each day. Take thirty minutes or more to give this treatment. For this body, it would be preferable to give this each afternoon, for it would rest the body better and he would feel better - at least after the third or fourth treatment.
11. Keep up the diets that have been indicated as the full strengthening for the body.
12. Ready for questions.
13. (Q) Is it advisable to administer aid to, or rather into, his lung or will nature take care of that? (A) As just indicated. Read what we have just given!
14. (Q) Will it be too great a strain on him to get up gradually now? (A) As has been outlined.
15. (Q) Is his diet well balanced? (A) So long as it is well assimilated, which may be indicated not only from the character of the stool but the manner in which it acts through the system, see? This as we find, as given, has been very well in keeping with that needed. Keep the strengthening foods for the body, but it is necessary - of course - that what is taken is assimilated.
16. (Q) Should all previous suggestions thru this channel be continued? (A) As has been given.
