1. HLC: You will give the relation of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth's plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity and that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: (In going back over the years from the present - " - '37 - changes - '33 - changes again of another nature - '28 - constructive forces - " etc., on back to birth date.)
3. Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as or called [2322].
4. These as we find in the records, as to the signs and symbols, are rather unusual. The entity, as its hobby, should interest itself in hieroglyphics and the findings of those who have done research work in excavations; not so much in that field itself but in the study of these, as we will see has been a portion of the entity's experience - and thus would give an outlet for the entity's abilities in such that would be most helpful to self as well as others. Especially we find this would be well as pertaining to discs or moneys, as were the representation of various characters through the history of man and his attempts to establish domination by the use of same in various spheres of activity.
5. In choosing the interpretations of the records as we find them here, these are chosen with the desire and purpose that this be a helpful experience for the entity; that, with the better analysis or study of self, there may be found those purposes for which the entity entered this material experience. For, these are not by chance, but that laws
2322-2 Page 2
which govern the activity of spirit, mind and matter may go forward in filling that purpose for which the designer of same intended and purposed it should do.
6. For, He hath not willed that any soul should perish, but hath with every temptation, every trial, prepared a way, a means for that soul to comprehend and know that the material experiences are purposeful.
7. As to urges latent from the astrological aspects or sojourns between the material appearances - these indicate latent influences by the very activities in which the entity finds expression; just as each season, each change in nature itself is an expression of developments or retardments of all forces as manifest in matter.
8. So man, in his journey through the material manifestations, carries with him those consciousnesses that find expression by or through associations of activities that represent phases of man's development.
9. Under Pisces are the active forces; thus those things which have to do with water, or that depend upon water, will be channels through which activities in this material plane will be of a greater interest to the entity. Not necessarily ships, or things in water, but things that depend upon water as a portion of their activity, or their development.
10. In Mars as combined with Venus we find the interest in nature, natural things.
11. The entity is one EASY in its temperament, but once aroused to anger it can rise as high as the quietness has held the entity in abeyance.
12. Things then of fire or drought, or that would destroy nature's activities, will be channels of hardships for the entity. Even this may extend to the physical conditions through the body, as the fires of fever or inflammation at periods of this present sojourn.
13. In Jupiter we find rather a benevolent influence. Thus things, conditions that have to do with natural resources of the earth, or land, may be those activities in which the entity may find outlets for its purposes, its aims - in the mental as well as the material desires.
14. In Mercury we find the natural tend at times for the interest in things of the deeper nature; as books, as law of cause and effect in relationships with individuals or with groups.
15. However, we find that these become rather those things that might be applicable in the relationships to nature's storehouse, than as an activity in which the entity would engage in this material sojourn.
2322-2 Page 3
16. As to those influences then that arise from the material sojourns - these we find quite varied, as we have indicated not only from the hobbies but from the astrological aspects and the periods through which the entity has journeyed in activities through material sojourns.
17. Then, before this we find the entity was in the land of the present sojourn; during those early periods when there were the great estates being established in this new field of endeavor; when great numbers of individuals were required for the care of same.
18. Hence we find the entity was associated with one who attempted to bring about, and who did, the greater means or facilities for handling of grain, as well as the other crops.
19. The entity then was associated with one Cyrus McCormick, but in the name then John Henry McQuaid.
20. Some of the ideas that were a part of McQuaid's REAL purpose were taken by those who were in associations with him, and this brought detrimental influences - because of the anger, as well as the animosity because of an individual taking advantage of what was considered to be not only a friendship but an association that was to be shared equally as to the returns from same. This brought the lack of self esteem, and the entity turned rather to that of self-indulgence; bringing the disturbing forces, and those conditions that at times in the present bring doubts in the material experiences of friends and associates, and of those activities as one with another.
21. Hence we may find the entity may make a very good partner, or a very, very bad one; owing to those experiences through that material sojourn.
22. But the interests in the products of the land, those activities that make for the supplying of nourishment in foods and things of the nature, become a part of the hopes and desires of this entity in the present.
23. Before that the entity was in the Roman land, during those periods of the great expansions; when portions of the North African and of Asia and even the Norse land were coming under the influences of the Roman rulers' activities.
24. The entity was among those given authority to determine as to what products - not only the soil but the individual activities - could and would be best as befitting the demands of the government through those expansions.
25. These were well, for the entity's abilities were in those directions from the sojourn just before that; and we find that the entity brought helpful influences not only to the Romans in authority but to the peoples of the lands to
2322-2 Page 4
which the entity went as the judge, or as an individual to work with those who were put in authority.
26. Hence we find the entity's interest in the findings of the people of old, or what today would be called archaeological research, became a part of the entity's experience. For, especially the Alexandrian as well as portions of the now Persian and Palestine areas were under the supervision, and in the latter portion of the entity's experience his whole attention was given to those activities in those fields.
27. Hence that LATENT urge that such AS a hobby might become as a HELPFUL force, not only to others but to self - and especially in those fields of the mediums of exchange used in all such lands.
28. It may be said that the entity gained throughout that experience - in the name Cleopedun.
29. Before that the entity was in the Palestine land, during those periods when there were the hordes or numbers of people entering under the leadership or direction of Joshua.
30. The entity was among the Jebusite peoples who made agreements with those peoples; hence dwelt among them, because of their POSSESSIONS of the land. Yet because of the agreements or compacts made between the two, the entity was a herdsman - or the keeper for those who had great herds through the land of the valleys, in those portions of that land.
31. There we find that in the keeping of the entity's activities great help came to many from the material standpoint, and great help came to the entity through the mental and physical relationships with those people, because of their activities in relationships to Creative Forces; and their MORAL actions brought better influences in those groups to which the entity belonged.
32. The name then was Jezeel.
33. In the present from that sojourn we find the interests in those things pertaining to certain characters or breeds of cattle or sheep or hogs or animals that have to do with the supplying of foods to peoples, or masses or groups.
34. These will be a part of the entity's experience, and yet from that very same influence as combined with the influences brought to bear by deceptions in the sojourn just previous to the present, we find a peculiar turn of mind as relating to compacts or agreements, or treaties, or things of that nature.
35. Hence the entity finds himself oft not decisive as to the nature or character of such compacts or agreements, or such relationships; for, to the entity, if the word cannot
2322-2 Page 5
be interpreted or taken, compacts mean little.
36. Before that the entity was in the Egyptian land, when there were those turmoils and strifes that had arisen from the rebellions through the land.
37. The entity was of the Atlanteans who came into the land; siding with the Natives AGAINST the King. Yet with the reestablishing of the closer relationships through the activity of the Priest, the entity entered into the research especially as to the forms of metals (that were a part of the land's activities) used for portions of worship as well as mediums of exchange, as well as decorations for body adornment, as well as of temples and the like.
38. Hence the interest the entity has in such things at times becomes almost as a desire to know of or to engage in same; yet also the law as a part of the entity's experience arises from the entity's application of same in relations to the various groups through that sojourn.
39. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, that to which it may attain, and how:
40. First, find thy ideal - body, mind, soul; or spiritual, mental and physical. Not as to that ye would have others do for thee, but rather what would be the ideal that thou wouldst present to thy fellow man in all these phases of his experience, and relationships as one to another.
41. Know that all must first be conceived from the spiritual, and then magnified or grown through the mental application as an experience coming into material application in the lives of others.
42. In those fields of research, or pertaining to fields of grain, or of herdsmen, or herds of ANY nature, the entity may in the MATERIAL way find the greater outlet for its abilities.
43. In the SPIRITUAL, know that the answers are within self. For, first there must come that answer within as to "What is my relationship to God?" And that is made manifest materially as to how, and in what manner, ye treat thy fellow man. For as ye do it unto the least of thy brethren, ye do it unto thy God.
44. Ready for questions.
45. (Q) In what occupation would success be most likely achieved? (A) In that which would be a product of the soil, or that is maintained by same.
46. (Q) What would be the best locality to settle in? (A) In whatever field or activity that fits itself naturally to such an activity.
2322-2 Page 6
47. (Q) No section of the country would be better than another? (A) The natural inclination is towards the eastern seaboard, and that as we find would be the better, but in those vicinities or surroundings better fitted for that work chosen, see?
48. (Q) Would it be well to plan for marriage and parenthood, or to remain single? (A) The greater blessings for any individual is a home. Plan for same. That means marriage and parenthood.
49. (Q) In what field or profession would political influence be most likely achieved? (A) In any that has to do with LOCAL government.
50. (Q) Can suggestions be made as to how self mastery can be developed; that is, will power and initiative? (A) Study that from the spiritual angle, if there would be that power, that might to succeed. For, as has been given, all first finds concept in the spiritual. The mental is the builder. This is true in planning the life, the relationships, and every phase of man's existence or experience.
51. (Q) What has been my past association with the following individuals, what are the urges in the present and what can I do that will aid in mutual mental and spiritual development: Lucy [...]? (A) We do not find an association.
52. (Q) Emmet [...]? (A) Such associations could best be had by paralleling. We find an association here was in the experience before this; a pleasant one, as a friendship existed there.
53. (Q) Ruby [...]? (A) In the Roman experience we find the associations were MOST helpful. Here we find a great deal of help can be given to one another.
54. (Q) Meriwether [...]? (A) We don't find an association - unless it were paralleled.
55. (Q) [849]? (A) In the Egyptian experience we find a very close association and activity.
56. (Q) [5436]? (A) Associations in the Roman as well as in the Egyptian. Some were good, at times, and some were bad.
57. (Q) Any other suggestions for the entity at this time? particularly as to his work? (A) Analyze self and purposes in work, as in associations. Approach all not as a longfacedness or mien; and not alone in the spiritual sense but as a practical, daily living.
