1. GC: You will give the relation of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity, and that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: (In going back over the years from the present, instead of counting back one year at a time as usual, he counted back two at a time; as "1940 - '38 - '36 - " etc., until getting back around 1908, when he began to count "1905 - '04 - '03 - '02 - " etc. until reaching birth date.)

3. EC: Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as or called [2328].

4. Rather interesting are the phases of developments manifested in the experiences of this entity; but these interpretations are chosen with the desire and purpose that this be a helpful experience for the entity, in magnifying the virtues, minimizing the faults; that the entity may indeed fulfillthose purposes for which it entered this material experience.

5. For, the natural trend and bent of the entity's abilities are in those fields of education, teaching, instruction in all of its phases for groups and individuals - especially of its own sex.

6. These as we find will be indicated from sojourns of the entity in the material plane, as well as from the astrological aspects also.

7. As the composite experiences we find these as latent and manifested urges:

8. One open-minded, free in its conversation or talk, yet sincerity is ever as something that is felt more than often

2328-1 Page 2

implied.

9. One of broad vision, deep thinking.

10. Meditating deeply the entity may bring into its experience much of that which prompted its activities in other sojourns.

11. Astrologically, we find Venus producing that home loving influence; that very friendly feeling ever; that attitude of mothering those in whom the entity feels an interest; as well as the beauty and the abilities in speaking, writing, teaching, in the sense of the deeper feeling rather than the purely mental.

12. In Jupiter we find there are benevolent influences as to groups, masses; and the activities among many, especially those of her own sex.

13. From the Uranian influence we find those periods in which the extremes have been the rule in the entity's experience, not only in this sojourn but through others, - as may be indicated from the appearances.

14. As to the sojourns in the earth - we find these have been oft; yet these alone here are given, for they give the problems as well as helps in the experience of the entity at THIS particular period of its development through this sojourn:

15. Before this the entity was in the English land during the Elizabeth era, or during the reign of that queen. The entity was among the ladies in waiting, as might be called, though not as a servant - and in the name Beth (or called Beth) Manning.

16. Those activities and periods in the social as well as the many conditions which arose that were of a tragic nature, during the entity's sojourn in that land, brought much of the wonderment and yet development. For, the entity was one who kept rather the balance between the extremes, - yet saw both in the experience. The entity was able to give and take counsel among not only her own sex then but among many who were in those positions where they attempted to take advantage of conditions which arose during that experience.

17. Hence in the present we find the entity a very quick and a very good judge of human nature; intuitive feelings the entity has towards individuals, towards the various sects or groups - whether in the political, social, economic, or in sects of any nature.

18. The entity gained throughout that experience.

19. Before that the entity was in the Egyptian land, during those periods of the reign of Queen Hatshetput (?). The entity was among the daughters of that queen, and especially

2328-1 Page 3

that one given to direct the service in the Temple of the Sun; and in those activities through which the entity, with its companions and associates at the time, made for the great economic development in the land.

20. Hence we find the entity's interest in the present pertaining to all characters of situations among peoples of various lands, or peoples of various groups. And the entity is capable, and usually very well qualified, to pass opinions on same.

21. The abilities to teach, and the peculiar intents or trends towards its religious life, or its activities in such, arise from those tendencies that were a part of the experience during that particular sojourn.

22. The name then was Tek-la.

23. Before that the entity was in the Persian land, during those periods when there were the tenets being expressed from which there arose a great deal of disturbing forces, as well as helpful influences in the experiences of many lands.

24. The entity then was rather in the position of what would today be called an astrologer, or a soothsayer, or as one who led those in giving counsel to the peoples of many lands, as well as in assisting in the teachings of the day; but rather in opposition - in the end - to those things that were taught by Uhjltd, the teacher.

25. Hence the confusions may be found as to intents and purposes in relationships to such in this present experience.

26. The name then was Su-She-Un.

27. Before that the entity was in the Egyptian land, during those turmoils and strifes that arose during the periods of rebellions.

28. The entity was among the Natives who joined with the individual Native especially who arose against the King at that particular period; for the entity then was a director or teacher, or one who aided various individuals or groups; not as the mother, but the mother confessor as it might be called today, in certain groups or denominations or students, to that Native leader.

29. Yet the entity was powerful even through the reconstruction periods, but aided rather then in the teaching influences of the land.

30. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, then, and that to which it may attain, and how:

31. First, know thine own ideals - physical, mental, spiritual. Know that the spiritual and mental, and the material, must arise from that which is of spiritual concept; for only the spirit AND mental are eternal, and

2328-1 Page 4

only that of the mental that is spiritual in its concept - or creative in its relationships to things, conditions, experiences, places or individuals.

32. Then, as an instructor the entity may aid much; for the entity oft determines to do this or that, and holds to that ideal until it is accomplished.

33. Hence now first you are right - don't act and then judge of the action afterward. Set thy faith, thy hope and thy trust only in that which is creative - as in found in Him.

34. The law of the Lord IS perfect. It is not beyond thy perception nor thy activity. Let it renew the spirit within thee, and direct thee in thy going in, thy coming out.

35. Ready for questions.

36. (Q) How have I been associated in the past with my nephew, [2319], and how may I help him most in the present? (A) The closest associations were in the English experience, when there was the wantonness expressed in his associations with those in the court. Again there were associations in the Persian experience that were most helpful, for the entity aided in the healing - though resorting to the teacher Uhjltd's applications for such; and we will find that the resorting to the same sources in the present experience will aid much. Then the greater help may be given by the instructions and the directions to those things that would aid the most - in the present experience.

37. (Q) With my sister, [...] [[2319]'s mother]? (A) These associations had best be approached by her own life record and then paralleling the two; though in the English experience we find there were friendships.

38. We are through for the present. Copy to Self - Air Mail " " Ass'n file [So sorry about the postage; am enclosing it. Also am sending under separate cover some data covering two of your incarnations here mentioned - the Egyptian period in which Mr. Cayce was the Priest Ra-Ta, and the Persian period in which he was the healer Uhjltd. We have also had a Life Reading for the Native who led the rebellion, to whom you acted as mother confessor. He is now Thomas Sugrue, a young writer whose first novel has just

been published by Henry Holt - "Such is the Kingdom." Also under separate cover I'm sending his preface to the book he is writing about Mr. Cayce. The above questions I submitted, thinking we might get more detail about your nephew. I trust this was alright for me to do. He couldn't be Henry the 8th, for in 1925 while giving a Life Reading for someone [See 1187-2] - in going back over the dates, the statement came that Henry the 8th was born into the world again on August 1, 1890. It was unusual for the incarnations not to be given for your nephew. Perhaps we will later understand why. GD.] . GD.]
