Time of Reading 3:40 to 4:05 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City.

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2329].

3. As we find, there ARE disturbing conditions; and these prevent the better normal physical reaction.

4. While these are rather of a compound nature, thus causing the reactions at times to be quite contrary to the nominal or normal reaction, we find that this is due to the high nervous tensions of the body.

5. Thus it becomes the nature of a sympathetic reaction from the imaginative or sensory forces of the body, as well as of a pathological nature.

6. So, it becomes of a psychological as well as pathological nature in the reactions.

7. But these are conditions as we find them with this body:

8. The blood supply indicates the nervous tensions of the body. Thus at times we have quite a quickening of the circulatory system, with hot and cold flushes through the body at times.

9. These are the result of disturbances in the equalizing of pressures in the cerebrospinal and sympathetic system, as will be seen; as well as the normal reactions under such stresses.

10. In the nervous system - here we find PHYSICALLY, or pathologically, some effects of the raising of the kundalini, or the imaginative system, to the reactions along the centers of the cerebrospinal system, without their SOURCES being GRATIFIED.

11. This produces oft those effects of the exhaustions to the body, and at such times the assimilating and digestive systems are disturbed.

12. Not that there are MENTAL reactions of a detrimental nature, but mental reactions of complex natures naturally

2329-2 Page 2

are the results.

13. These as we find are much of the sources of the nervous tensions. Not that these - the raising of such forces - should not be accomplished in a body; but their sources, their reactions must of necessity find expression.

14. For this body we find that these may find the greater expression in just aiding, helping, someone not so fortunate as self - in the mental, the spiritual and the physical balance.

15. However, there will be necessitated a supplying to the system of those sources of energies that have been expended in these activities; and thus we may replenish and rebuild the better reactions, as well as maintain a better physical functioning of the organs of the system.

16. For, naturally, with the vital energies and vital nerve forces used or expended, there is a weakening to the vital activities of heart, liver and kidneys. Not that these are involved organically, save sympathetic reaction in the present.

17. In the organs - brain forces and the imaginative forces, the sensory reactions, are very good; though there are times when the body becomes rather supersensitive. This finds reaction through the organs of the sensory or sympathetic nervous system.

18. These, too, will be materially aided with the addition, or the supplying to the body in the most natural means, of those energies and vital forces to keep the body better physically fit.

19. The using of these energies, as indicated, has caused not organic but SYMPATHETIC, functional reactions to heart, to liver, to kidneys. These find expression in that when one becomes overactive there is the natural reaction in the opposite direction to the other, in most instances. While not as yet vital disturbances, there ARE those inclinations that may be materially aided in the present.

20. Then, in making administrations:

21. We would begin first with the physiotherapy treatments of a GENERAL hydrotherapy and massage nature; not just a massage as from a masseuse, but the general hydrotherapy treatments in which there is a stimulation to the superficial circulation. These would include, then, those applications of both heat and cold - either in the plain bath or sheet, or in the cold and hot water, especially DIRECTLY to the spine and to these areas of the body. Then follow these with the thorough rubdown with stimulating oils, as well as the rubs to close the pores after such.

22. There should be required thirty to forty to fifty

2329-2 Page 3

minutes, or more, for these applications; at least once a week, until eight to ten to twelve such applications are taken.

23. After the first four or five such hydrotherapy treatments, we would then begin with a tonic of ADIRON; two tablets a day at mealtime; one in the morning with the meal, whenever the meal is taken, and one during the evening meal. The balance of the vitamin forces, the reactions of the iron as well as the glandular forces for better stimulations to the energies used, will not only prevent colds or congestion but will aid in keeping a balance for this body.

24. Keep these up for at least six to eight weeks; and we should find a great improvement.

25. And with the change in the physical attitudes, and the activity giving an outlet to the energies - through expending them in helpful forces for some less fortunate, we find that the mental, the spiritual and physical will be brought to a closer coordination.

26. Ready for questions.

27. (Q) Skin dry. Underneath fatty tissue very deficient. What should be done for this? (A) As indicated, this is taken into consideration in the very manner and form of applications suggested for stimulating the superficial circulation. For, as outlined, the superficial circulation and the deeper circulation are oft combative; that is, the impulses producing circulation through same - sympathetic and cerebrospinal - are disturbed. These are taken into consideration with those suggestions given.

28. (Q) Do I need Estrogene [estrogen] to supply some glandular deficiency? (A) As we find, the ADIRON - with the stimulation through the hydrotherapy and massage, as indicated - will supply that needed in a more efficient manner; rather than the one without the other. And these, if taken in the manner indicated, will work together.

29. (Q) Frequently have diarrhea or loose bowels. (A) This, as indicated, is the effect of the incoordination of the assimilating and the nervous system. The general diet, with the other applications suggested, should correct this. Do not become one so burdened with the diet consciousness that "I can't eat this - I can't eat that - I can't eat the other," but keep a normal, balanced diet. And with those conditions carried out as indicated, we should correct all of these disturbances.

30. (Q) Any further advice?

2329-2 Page 4

(A) DO as indicated. [Par. 31-Q and 31-A left out of original copy:]

31. (Q) Through this approach, is it possible to explain the karmic tie between myself and the other man who has recently come again into my life? How should I handle the situation in order to pay back any obligations to him, if there are any? (A) This, as we have indicated, may BEST be determined by paralleling the life experiences of that entity with the own. But these HAVE been met, are being met well - if there is the applying of that mercy and grace in its proper relationship to ideals; not ism or cism but IDEAL.

32. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file (GD's note at the time of the reading: See extra sheet of directions [which was enclosed] for Physiotherapist. We would refer you to such as The Reilly Service, Atten. H. J. Reilly, R.C.A. Bldg., N.Y.C., who has had much experience with following Mr. Cayce's Readings. The ADIRON is manufactured by The Lawrence Laboratories, Chicago, Ill., but should be obtained from your local druggist. It sells for $1 a bottle of 60 tablets.) ts.)
