1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2341].
3. Now as we find, there are disturbing conditions which prevent the normal reactions through the functioning of the organs of the body; and these unless corrected may lead to greater disturbances than even now exist in the functioning of the organs and the activities of same.
4. These conditions originally arose from there being first the tendencies for the blood supply to be overflowing with malaria.
5. Then there were those contractions by the system of flu.
6. These, combined with a period of quite a bit of temperature, necessitated some severe measures towards the breaking up of same. This produced in the eliminating systems a reversing of the condition almost; causing often, or repeatedly, the involvement of the circulation in eliminating poisons through the perspiratory system, or superficial circulation, that should be eliminated through other channels.
7. Thus the causing of some accumulations and segregations of the attempts of the lymph to DESTROY these centers attempting to be eliminated. Thus the chilblains, boils and the like over the body.
8. These get better, and then apparently break out in unexpected places, or cause a great deal of disturbance and anxiety to the body.
9. Here, as indicated, we find the involvement of the circulation and the SOURCES of its activity and impulses towards the activity through eliminating channels.
10. There are little of the secretions and excretions of the liver towards the proper eliminations; and the gall duct itself becomes gradually choked, or the duct shows signs of
2341-1 Page 2
little impulse of circulation through same.
11. A great deal of inflammation is indicated through the eliminations of the kidneys, as shown by the discoloration at times in the urine and tendencies for sediments to easily form in same.
12. These conditions in general produce some little temperature, and unless the SOURCES of the conditions are eliminated, they may become such as to act upon either the organ of the liver itself or the lung, or some of the organs associated in eliminations - or the kidneys may become involved - which show signs of the distresses being produced by these excesses of poisons or toxins being carried through them, rather than being eliminated in their normal manner through the system.
13. First we would begin with the taking consistently of a compound prepared in this way and manner; mixing and adding these in the ORDER named: Sulphur......................1 heaping tablespoonful, Rochelle Salts...............1 heaping tablespoonful, Cream of Tartar..............1 heaping tablespoonful. Mix these THOROUGHLY together. This doesn't mean merely stirring, but grinding them together with mortise and pestle or the like. Each morning before breakfast take a level teaspoonful of this mixture, in a little water or dry.
14. Then drink plenty of water through the day, at least six to eight tumblers full. Throughout the period of taking this compound, be sure that the feet are kept dry; that is, do not get the feet damp or wet, being careful not to get caught in the rain or the like.
15. After this compound has begun to act thoroughly on the system - about the fifth day - begin with adjustments that will release the tensions which exist through the lumbar and sacral, through the 6th, 7th and 8th dorsal, and THROUGHOUT the cervical area.
16. Do this OSTEOPATHICALLY; taking a treatment twice each week, continuing with the eliminant and blood purifier as we have indicated, see?
17. When there have been about twelve of such treatments or adjustments, and the compound taken regularly - leave off the osteopathic treatments for about twenty days - but begin immediately with using (along with the compound, you see) the Violet Ray (hand machine, rod applicator). This would not be the bulb applicator, but the rod - which would be held one time in the right hand, the next day the bare foot (left foot) placed upon the rod - after it has been
2341-1 Page 3
placed on glass, you see; the next day held in the left hand, the next day the right foot placed on same, you see; continuing to rotate the applications in this manner; for three minutes each. Continue this for ten days.
18. Then leave off the compound AND the Violet Ray for some ten days.
19. Then begin all over again; but this time after the five days of taking the compound, only ONE osteopathic treatment a week would be taken until six have been taken.
20. Then leave these off (that is, the osteopathic treatments), and begin the electrical treatments again; taking these as indicated for ten days, and keeping up the compound throughout the period.
21. Then have the rest period from all applications, and if necessary repeat the whole procedure.
22. As to the diet - do not take fried foods, nor meats such as beef or hog meat - though crisp bacon may be taken in small quantities if desired. The other meats taken should consist of fish, fowl or lamb.
23. Each day have a meal consisting principally of raw vegetables; such as lettuce, celery, carrots, mustard, spinach or the like; onions, radishes. These need not be in such quantities, but sufficient that they add the vital forces from the green vegetables to the activity of the system.
24. This diet, of course, should begin from the beginning of the entire treatments as here outlined.
25. Not too much of milk, nor too much of sweets - save honey may be taken in the honeycomb, preferably, or if not in the honeycomb know that it is the pure strained honey.
26. If these are done, we will find that we will eliminate the sources, as well as build up the body for better resistances.
27. Do that.
28. Ready for questions.
29. (Q) What causes the sharp pain in chest when taking a deep breath, or when lifting something heavy? (A) The effect of the strain from the disordered, distorted eliminations upon the organs there - which, as we have indicated, is a part of that condition against which the body is being warned. This may affect the lung, the liver OR the kidney, or ALL of them, if the strains are not removed and the blood purified through nominal, normal channels. Or, there may become such pus forming sacs on the lung, the liver or the kidneys, as indicated in the superficial circulation at times.
2341-1 Page 4
But do these things as we have indicated, in a consistent manner, and we will eliminate these disturbances.
