1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions that may be asked:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2344].
3. Now as we find, the disturbances indicated are rather those of which the body should be warned. While in the present these do not make for any great disturbances, the inclinations exist and may be the more easily eliminated in the present.
4. These, then, are conditions as we find them with this body, [2344]:
5. The blood supply, with the tendencies towards an irregular pulsation, indicates some toxic forces being present in the system; and with those tendencies for too much sugar to be assimilated there is an increase in the weight - which also tends to make for the irregular blood pressure.
6. It is not a heart disturbance in the present, but there is that inclination; and at times a skipping of a heart beat is indicated, and a slowing of the pulsation.
7. These as we find have specific causes, and produce specific disturbances; as we shall see.
8. In the nervous system - while the body is energetic in the main, there ARE sympathetic reactions that at times cause a nerve reflex which is not good; and this contributing to other inclinations causes some disturbance through the sensory system.
9. These may be materially aided, and a great deal more vitality than is indicated for the body may be exhibited in the physical activities.
10. We find that those changes in eliminations also have had, and do have, their effect upon this general condition, and related to the nerve forces.
11. In the functioning of the organs - we find that the
2344-2 Page 2
brain forces and their discriminations are very good.
12. The organs of the sensory system show a supersensitive reaction in sympathetic reflexes. These arise, as we find, or are indicated, in those tender centers and subluxations in the cerebrospinal system.
13. As to the activities of the heart, the lungs, the liver, the digestive system - these subluxations as indicated tend to find reflexes in the heart's activity and circulation; and a portion of the subluxations existing in the secondary cardiac plexus indicates the very nature of the reaction.
14. Yet the causes, or the reflexes and causes of the disturbed circulation as to the heart's activity, arise more from the plethoric condition which we find indicated in the ascending and transverse colon. While there is not as yet a prolapsus in the transverse AND descending colon, some disturbance is causes at times from the poor eliminations and from the general condition which exists from the plethora, or enlarging of the colon, in the area. This also contributes to those tendencies of the system to lose a beat in the circulation, as it were, or the general slowing of the superficial and deeper circulation.
15. In the activities of the liver, spleen, pancreas and kidneys - as indicated, the system ASSIMILATES too much sugar. This, combined with the general conditions, produces those tendencies towards excesses in weight.
16. Then, in making corrections - these as we find would be the most helpful, the most beneficial for the body:
17. First, we would begin making corrections in the cerebrospinal system (through such channels as Dobbins), throughout those areas indicated; secondary cardiac plexus, portions of the upper cervicals, AND the lumbar and lower dorsals. These we would make every fourth day, or twice each week.
18. After some four to six osteopathic treatments with Dobbins, we would begin to coordinate with his treatments those given at Reilly's - of the hydrotherapy nature; including Cabinet Sweats one each week followed with the oil rubs and thorough massages (the pine oils being preferable for this body, as we find). The Sweats should not be too heavy, owing to the condition of the heart.
19. During the first of the hydrotherapy treatments, have a colonic irrigation; have at least two colonic irrigations during a period of six weeks, to eliminate all of the tendencies for accumulations of the disturbances that cause this slowing of the activity, or mucous in the colon. If this requires more than two, continue to have them - but at least two or three weeks apart.

20. All of these hydrotherapy treatments would be COORDINATED with the corrections made by Dobbins, but should not be begun until some four to six of Dobbins' treatments have been given, see?
21. DO NOT give the body ANY form of electrical treatment!
22. However - AFTER the series of treatments are complete - both the osteopathic and the hydrotherapy - we find that the Radio-Active Appliance would be beneficial; for this uses the electricity of the body to equalize the circulation. This we would apply at least three times each week, and keep it up for many, many weeks; fifteen to twenty, at least, - but do not begin this until the other treatments have been completed.
23. As a reducing diet we would use the Grape Juice formula; that is:
24. Half an hour before each meal and at bedtime, take two ounces of Grape juice (Welch's, preferably) in one ounce of plain water (not carbonated water).
25. Keep away from these - or these are the DON'TS:
26. Do not eat fried foods.
27. Do not eat white potatoes.
28. Do not eat white bread.
29. As to meats - fish, fowl or lamb are preferable; these broiled, boiled, baked or stewed, etc., NOT fried!
30. Have plenty of fruits and fresh vegetables each day. Let one meal each day consist principally of fruit or fresh raw vegetables, or else a quantity of these at two meals each day.
31. Keep away from any carbonated drinks, or any malt drinks.
32. Light wines would be very well; preferably the white, rather than the red wines, for THIS body - if these are taken.
33. Following all of these, as we find, consistently, would not ONLY alleviate many of those anxieties and tendencies indicated with the body in the present, but prevent greater disturbances later.
34. Ready for questions.
35. (Q) Just what is the present condition of the heart? (A) As given. There is the tendency for a slowing. Thus at times there is apparently a skipping of a heart beat. This arises FROM the circulation carrying some sugar, but ASSIMILATED. It is not a diabetic condition, as would be in some cases where too much sugar is indicated, but it is rather a plethoric condition in the colon - as given. Do as has been outlined for the better conditions of this

body, [2344].
