1. EC: Yes, we have those conditions as surround this body; also those effections that disturb and distress this body, [2350].

2. Now, we find, while there are disturbing conditions that affect the body in more than one direction, yet the greater distresses and warnings would be from the results of neglecting other conditions that are not so apparent or disturbing for the physical forces of this body at the present time.

3. These, then, are conditions as we find them with this body, [2350] we are speaking of:

4. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY there are evidences of the distresses as are produced by a physical existent condition, that are not as distressing as this may become, unless there is the action taken to prevent this condition.

5. In the elements of the blood - there is seen the lack of the proper assimilations in the system, produced mainly by the activity of the pancreas and liver. These conditions occurring from the condition existent in the cerebrospinal nervous system, from which radial center the organs as given receive their principal incentive for functioning. These, namely, the 4th dorsal plexus and the 9th dorsal plexus.

6. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM - here, again, we find cross conditions from that as is seen that produces irritation sympathetically, from a condition as exists with the lower limbs and feet; especially the tendons in the heel and arches. These are the sympathetic reaction from a condition existent in the lower lumbar regions, and allow the system to easily become overtaxed at times, disturbing the circulation and producing such irritation that even the digestive system receives sympathetic reaction, causing disturbances there, as produces the conditions, aided BY those sympathetic forces from liver and pancreas' action; those of a slowed reaction through the colon, and an

acidosis activity in same.

7. IN THE ORGANS OF THE BODY, brain forces are very good. While the body at present is not in such condition as it may not at times attend to its physical duties, yet there are times when the brain rebels at being forced to carry on under the existent strains, and would be well for the body to take time to have corrections made that will prevent the full concurrent conditions as are apparent in the system. The sympathetics, with the activities of the system, show in the reactions through the sensory organism, as is indicated by conditions existent in the soft tissue of face, head and throat, and the OVER secretions as occur there.

8. Bronchial, or bronchia and lung - these are in that state where the system may easily become contaminated with outside influences, through the lack of the proper energy to keep the blood supply normally balanced, and to re-oxidize or carbonize the system. Too much of the bi-carbon forces are often left in system. Hence this tendency of fullness and hard breathing, especially when laboring under any excitement.

9. Heart's action NOT normal, but NOT organic disturbances; for with the many tendencies as are evidences from that given, this is often called the TROUBLE with this body, when it is rather the EFFECT of other conditions, and the system being DRIVEN to that beyond its strength.

10. The digestive forces, as indicated, suffer mostly through intestinal indigestion, on account of the tendencies of foods that are of the nature that - turned to alcoholic fermentation in the system - not alcohol, but alcoholic fermentations in the system - produce too slow a reaction, and a strain on kidneys - and the effect there is the depression, and tendency for the body to become etheritized by its own poisons.

11. Now, to meet the needs of the conditions of this body:

12. First, it should REST at least three to five weeks, and first we would begin by CLEANSING the system, or alimentary canal especially, thoroughly. We would use that of a combination of of Senna, Ragweed, and Podophyllum. These in minute quantities, that will act MOSTLY with the liver and its functioning. The Ragweed, especially, to PREVENT the strain on the lacteal ducts, as cause the activity of the pancreas - but with the Podophyllum - that will enliven the GLANDS, or the gall ducts and glands in liver TO activity.

13. Then we would begin, after this cleansing - which should take three to five days, or longer - with those manipulations osteopathically given, that would correct those existent conditions in the cerebrospinal system,

especially those existent in the dorsal, lumbar and sacral region, making the coordinating reaction through the cervicals by those gentle massage and ALIGNMENT of the cerebrospinal column.

14. Then we would add a different vibration to the system, after these ADJUSTMENTS have been made. Those of the clary water, taken in SMALL doses, and be mindful of the diet.

15. Let these desist from using sugars or starches. Principally those of heaviness, or plenty of weight - but blood and nerve building, and especially of the alkalin reaction.

16. In the fourth week we would begin with those of the electrical forces that carry both the ultra violet and the sinusoidal wave, or the short sinusoidal wave - that produce reaction to the muscular and nerve centers of the system, as relating to those of the upper cervicals and of the lower dorsals. Then, the ultra violet should be for those centers as relate especially to the kidneys, treating same not LONGER than three MINUTES at the first, and not CLOSER to the body than thirty-eight or forty inches - but this should be taken twice each week. Not letting these be concurrent, but on opposite periods - but taken during during the same period.

17. Do that, and we will bring the near normal forces, correcting those conditions through these manipulations, as seen in the locomotory or the limbs and feet; also those for the head and face and sensory system. The greater condition to be considered is that of the pancreas, spleen and liver. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Ass'n office " " Cayce Hospital " " [900]
