Time of Reading 10:45 to 11:00 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Va. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, Mrs. [2353]; this we have had before.
2. As we find, conditions - as we have given - are not so good in the present. There is the dilation and the extending of the colon in the ascending portion. This also has produced irritation in the area about the glands of assimilation, which has produced a plethora condition in the form of dilated area that makes for the distresses; especially when the body attempts to take foods. There are nausea and headaches from same, as well as the dryness in mouth, swelling in feet, and the color and circulation is bad.
3. In the present the better method of relief would be to empty the colon with high enemas, but before using these we would SOFTEN same first with castor oil packs over the area of the distention in the lower bowel as well as in the lower portion of the stomach. Use these packs for at least four or five hours; that is, one after the other, before attempting to evacuate the colon where the greater distress is apparent.
4. Then we would have those deep manipulations that will cause the absorption of those distressed areas in the lacteal centers and about the gall duct, and the area of the lower portion of duodenum.
5. With the diet we would be mindful that most of that taken is of the pre-digested nature; as would be in dried milk, malted milks, and beef juices without any of the meats; also the activities that carry the proper fermentations for the system, as yeast - fresh yeast, or any of the malts; just so these are taken when there is little or no activity from any acid forces in the system.
6. These, as we find, would bring for the bettered conditions, Mrs. [2353].
7. Ready for questions.

8. (Q) In using the oil packs, does it mean to use them for four or five consecutive hours, and then the enemas? (A) Use them for four or five consecutive hours. Put them on hot, and renew them as they cool; not so hot as to burn the body but so they will make for an IRRITATING and will absorb forces without producing the irritation from within.
When the high enemas are given there should be plenty of antiseptics used with same, see? In the first water use small quantities of soda and salt, baking soda. Use about a teaspoonful level of soda to the gallon of water, or gallon and a half to two gallons of water, with a good pinch of salt.
Use tepid water, not too hot nor too cold.
In the cleansing waters use Glyco-Thymoline, at least a tablespoonful to half a gallon of water. (This should be after the first has passed, see?) Use at least a gallon of water for this cleansing.
The last water should consist principally of oils, or oils carrying lubricants that make for the cleansing and easing of the intestinal tract, that there may be little or no irritation and yet cleansing for the system.
Should there arise temperature with these conditions, then be mindful that there is the attendant physician to mind that, so it does not become beyond control. Little temperature has existed as yet, though the nausea and the pressure has been severe.
9. (Q) How often should the manipulations be given? (A) Twice a week should be sufficient, though it may be found necessary in the beginning (until the reaction is started) for these to be given every day; but twice a week should be sufficient when the absorption has started.
Follow these as we have given; first the oil packs. Use two or three thicknesses of flannel, dipped in the oil (sufficient quantity to thoroughly saturate), then wrung out and laid next to the skin, over the area of the ascending colon and the lower portion of liver, see? and lower duodenum, where the swelling shows on the abdomen.
After this, then irrigate the colon as described above. Then, after the irrigations have eased the body (which they should do, after the first application), be mindful that the foods do not irritate. This has formed gas, and there will

be quantities of gas that will pass off. Of course, this will not reduce the swelling in the lacteal area, or the lower end of duodenum, but the MANIPULATIONS AND the other irritation left off WILL gradually absorb same - with the manipulations and adjustments.
Do that. We are through for the present.
