Time of Reading 10:45 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Virginia. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2373]. Now, we find there are abnormal conditions. These, as we find, have most to do with the nervous systems of the body. While there are specific FUNCTIONINGS involved in the conditions as at present exist, the basis or the cause of the disturbance is from incoordination of a character in the nervous system.

2. These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body, [2373] we are speaking of:

3. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, here we find indications of the character of disturbances in the nerve system, by the very nature of the blood stream itself; for the lymph and the emunctories show the effect of a nerve disturbance. Especially is this indicated in the burses as are seen in the extremities, in all their forms, and a soreness as results from same as to form an accumulation of this nature about those centers. Not a rheumatic nature; not that of even an ELEMENTARY BLOOD disorder, though the blood becomes INVOLVED from the manner in which the IMPULSES - in the distribution of the assimilated forces - are DISTRIBUTED in the physical forces of the body.

4. IN THE NERVE SYSTEMS PROPER, here we find there has existed, in the cerebrospinal and the sympathetic system, those hindrances that have prevented a NOMINAL or NORMAL development in the physical body; an ABNORMALITY, in that the IMPULSES as have come to the system has made for an impulsive force as prevents the body from responding in a normal manner. Not that of an abnormal MENTAL development, but an abnormal mental IMPULSE in the physical functioning. This, as we find, is in both the lumbar and the cervical coordinating centers, from those of the 2nd and 4th lumbar plexus, also in those of the 3rd to 5th CERVICAL plexus, and especially does this show in the SYMPATHETIC reactions to the body. In the specific condition existent in the present, we find that through the increasing of the amount

2373-1 Page 2

of lymph as is existent, and has existed in the system, this creates those improper coordinations in burse centers; that is, as from radial REFLEXES in the LOCOMOTIONS and reflexes in the body. Hence the condition in digestive system, the condition in the mental reflexes, as well as regurgitation throughout the activities of an ASSIMILATING system. This, then, is a reflex condition, rather than that of a cause; the cause being in those impulses as outlined.

5. IN THE FUNCTIONING OF THE ORGANS THEMSELVES, in brain forces impulses show how that of incoordination makes for an abstruse activity in impulse, yet a NORMAL reaction for the condition - and these may be made normal in their activity.

6. In the functioning of the organs of the throat, head, and the SENSORY system - the body, through impulses from those incoordinations in the cervical region, receives those conditions as exist through the lymph ducts and glands of the emunctories through the head, neck, and the ORGANS of same - as there is irritation shown to all of the SENSORY organisms.

7. Bronchi and lungs - these are NOMINAL in their functioning; ABNORMAL with the CHARACTER of that circulation through same.

8. Heart's action shows the effect of the quick and temperamental pulsation, and naturally - from the effect of a disturbance in the central supply - shows a quick pulsation, but as even pressure.

9. IN the digestive organs of the body, we find a normalcy at normal reactions - but with an excess of congestion produced BY those conditions existent when they have become accentuated through pressure, from congestion and excitement, has brought those abnormalities in regurgitation.

10. Liver, spleen, react in a normal manner when under normal conditions. Assimilating forces show the effect of the conditions in the lumbar area. These have existed from birth, for a PRESSURE was created in the 2nd lumbar which has made for what would be termed an excessive amount of blood in the capillary circulation.

11. In the organs of the hepatic circulation, other than liver, we find these show an excess - as is indicated in the characterization in the locomotories of the body; for the adrenal glands show the effect of the pressure, as do the GLANDS of the body - as especially indicated by the inflammation in the burse centers - whether the arms, elbows, knees, or in any exterior portion of body itself. Hence, even to the touch at times destroys the equilibrium of the body's reaction.

12. In meeting, then, the needs of the conditions of this body - as we would find, THESE would be that manner in which NORMALCY may be brought to the body:

13. There are specific conditions to be met in the present. Then those that would be of a LONGER duration in bringing about a normal reaction for the whole physical forces.

14. In the beginning, we would give those properties as come from the vibratory forces as would be created by THIS combination:

15. To 4 ounces of simple syrup, add: Tincture Valerian...............1/2 ounce, Elixir Calisaya.................1/2 ounce, 10% solution Bromide Potassium...40 minims, 10% solution Iodide Potassium....10 minims, Tincture Capsici..................3 minims. Shake the solution together before the dose is taken. The dose would be 20 minims every 2 hours until there is, at least, a nominal or normal rest - without those reactions as come from same.

16. Keep the intestinal tract cleansed. PREFERABLY this may be done with the enemas as will carry an antiseptic. This will REDUCE the tendency of the nervous reactions in system, and the quivery and jerky conditions as result from any undue activity.

17. We would begin, as soon as the body rests well, with those of the manipulative measures, osteopathically given, as to correct those centers through which the ELIMINATIONS, as drainages, are set up in the system - especially in the cervical, upper dorsal, and the sacral and lumbar. These, in their reactions, will bring a nearer normal reaction to the body.

18. Then we would change, when the body is in a nearer normal condition, to that necessary to bring normalcy for the body. This should require not more than 10 days to bring the body back to where it was 3 to 4 weeks ago. Ready for questions.

19. (Q) What is the cause and remedy for the frequent passing of water? (A) This produced by that condition existent in the assimilating forces of the body, and especially as to their reference with the glands about the kidneys. This NOT of a nature that is of ORGANIC disorder; a FUNCTIONAL disturbance, as given - see?

20. (Q) Is there infection or inflammation of the bladder? If so, what is the cause and remedy?

2373-1 Page 4

(A) No infection, as we find. Inflammation, produced by the excessive amount of the lymph pressure in system attempting to be eliminated through these channels. When we have cleansed the colon, and have had antiseptic reactions through the intestinal system - and relieved those pressures in the lumbar and cervical regions - we will find a better coordination established in eliminations, and drainages and eliminations set up through their NOMINAL channels - rather than through the weakened conditions in the impulses to the organs' functioning - will bring near normalcy.

21. (Q) How long will it take to get this body back to a normal condition? (A) As given, in 10 to 12 days it should be back to WHERE it was in the condition when the first disturbance began - or 3 to 4 weeks ago. THEN we may give that as will make for a NORMALCY; this would require some 3 to 6 months, dependent upon the response and the manner in which the diet and the impulses are carried out. Do this at the PRESENT, and we will find the RESPONSES will come.

22. (Q) How often should osteopathic treatments be given? (A) These, as we find, would be WELL were a sedentary character of treatment given every OTHER day, and every other day a DEEPER manipulation. One that will make the body REST. Each day, then - see? and every other day one that will make for CORRECTIVE measures in the cerebrospinal system; for - as the nervous system is that greatest involved, with the lymph and emunctories - the sedentary effect of the gentle massage over all centers will bring the greater response and the better rest to the body. That's common sense, see?

23. (Q) What diet? (A) Beware of sweets or of meats, but those that are of a nerve BUILDING are the better for the body. Not that the pancreas or liver, or kidneys, are in other than a state of excitement through the lymph carried in their areas.

24. (Q) Is it necessary for body to be in hospital? (A) Not NECESSARY; but this would be the better MANNER!

25. That is all the questions regarding this body.

26. Do that for the present. Then we may give those further corrections as the CONDITIONS improve.
