Time of Reading 3:30 to 3:55 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Va.

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2375].

3. As we find, there are disturbing conditions which prevent the better normal physical functioning. These have to do with specific conditions which have arisen from a subluxation which exists in the dorsal area.

4. This apparently at first would appear to be of rather a serious nature, because of the reflex that is caused in the circulation between the heart and the liver - or a form of thrombosis, or thrombosia.

5. These as we find are the conditions which disturb this body, [2375] we are speaking of:

6. In the blood supply we find that because of the attempts to regulate the pulsation, which at times through this manner or form of circulation gets out of hand, at times with any undue exercise - physical or mental - there is caused a heaviness in that area above the sternum, or in between the breast or above the breast bone.

7. This is the area that in the circulatory forces causes the clogging, blocking, or the engorging gradually of the heart itself.

8. In this form of circulation we have a form of anemia, because of the tendencies through those administrations to keep the blood thinned, as it were, rather than allowing sufficient of the manufacturing of the red blood supply in the system.

9. This is tending to produce a low superficial circulation, and a full deep circulation. This is indicated in the body when at times there is the feeling of a creepiness under the skin in various portions of the body, especially of night

when ready to retire; also a low, dull headache, a leadened feeling through the extremities, the hips and the abdomen. These are the results of the system attempting to equalize the circulation as the body rests.

10. In the functioning of the organs as related to the sensory and the nerve system:

11. As indicated - through a wrench or a slipping - there was first a little "kink" (as it felt like) in the spinal column, in the 4th and 5th dorsal center; also the 6th is involved. This, through the form of lesion produced, has first brought about the activity through the sympathetic cardiac plexus an overflowing between the lung, the liver and the heart. Thus it has gradually engorged the heart, and strains the circulation that changes here between the arterial (or deeper) and the venous circulation - where the vein carries the arterial circulation.

12. Thus that fullness which occurs at times below the throat line, or just above the sternum, or where the ribs join between the breast here.

13. As to the activity of these upon the nervous system, as well as the organs themselves:

14. The liver is disturbed, also the heart, also the lungs in their purifying - both as to the respiratory circulation and the excretory functioning of the liver, with the circulation. Thus the arteries slowing, or filling, without throwing same into the exterior portions or to the veins, as they return the blood from the heart itself, we have this condition here as indicated.

15. The rest of the organs, as we find, are only slowed by this.

16. Then, in making administrations for helpful forces - to be sure there should be just as much rest and the taking of things just as "easy" as possible.

17. Medicinal properties in MOST manners will be more harmful than beneficial, UNLESS those acute conditions occur (as they have some two or three times) when it is necessary, to be sure, to have that which causes the blood to flow from - not toward the heart.

18. But to correct the condition - we would correct those subluxations which exist in the 4th, 5th and 6th dorsal; gradually, not all at once but gradually; coordinating the upper portion of the cervical area and the lower dorsal and lumbar with same.

19. Have these corrections made by mechanical (osteopathic) adjustments. We would have these in series. First have about six; or two each week until six adjustments have been made. Then rest from these at least two weeks. Then have

2375-1 Page 3

about twelve. Then rest from them about two to three weeks. And then have twelve more.

20. These SHOULD bring the nearer to normal conditions for this body.

21. We would have these in a way and manner as will keep the heart's activity normal in its reaction.

22. To equalize the circulation through the system, we would use a very low form of body-electrical vibration. Do not use electrical forces save of this nature - the body-electrical forces. Hence we would use here the Radio-Active Appliance, which uses the body-electrical forces to equalize the blood flow, pulse activity, and to quiet and ease the body without DISTURBING the other portions of the system. This we would use at least thirty minutes each day, especially when ready to retire of evening.

23. Do these. Ready for questions.

24. (Q) Is it really a ruptured artery of the heart, as the doctors say? (A) Is this what we have given?

25. (Q) Would you recommend any particular osteopath? (A) Anyone that is in sympathy with the suggestions here made.

26. (Q) Any particular diet? (A) The nominal or normal diet, but keep away from fried foods or heavy amount of fats. Plenty of fruits and vegetables. Do not eat hog meat of any kind, save at times a little crisp bacon is very good.

27. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file (See extra sheet of directions [which was enclosed] to Osteopath. Let us know whether you go to Dr. Hudgins or Dr. Irvin. See directions [which were enclosed] for using Radio-Active Appliance.) ce.)
