1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2376].
3. As we find, there are those disturbances regarding which there would be given rather the warnings, as to tendencies and inclinations; as combined with some specific disturbances that have to do with the result of disturbances to the system.
4. These are conditions, then, as we find them with this body, [2376] we are speaking of, present in this room:
5. The blood supply indicates those tendencies in the lungs as related to the purifying of the blood supply, and the congestions as related to subluxations which exist in the lower dorsal and through the lumbar and sacral areas.
6. These as we find produce a form of anemia, though at times there are periods when the balance is kept very good.
7. Then with the strains that come through that existent condition in a portion of the right lung area, the lower portion, there is caused a superacidity and an attempt of the body to create sufficient of the leucocyte, which diminishes the red blood and causes a quickening of the pulsating to an abnormal condition, and a lowering of the pressure of blood supply.
8. In the nervous system - we find through the lumbar and the lower dorsal and sacral areas there exists some subluxations that, from the lesions through the pelvis, give disturbances to the activities of the organs of the pelvis.
9. These should be corrected, else - with the constant irritation, and the weaknesses and tendencies in the lungs - they may cause a combination that would be rather disturbing, as well as causing a constitutional disturbance which might eventually become acute through the ability of
2376-1 Page 2
the system to supply nerve energies and blood supply for the system to combat the disturbances.
10. In the functioning of the organs themselves - brain forces are very good. The reflexes through the sensory system are very good. However, at times the disturbance in the respiratory system and the lymph supply to nasal passages causes fullness in those areas back to the eye and in the upper portion of the mouth. Thus a fullness in the throat, a quivering at times, and an uneasy feeling, and easily irritated.
11. These are the effects of reflexes from the secondary cardiac plexus as related to the lung disturbances.
12. These in the lung and the throat and the larynx are not a nature other than would be warned respecting. However, with the combination of other disturbances it may become a disturbing factor in the bodily functions.
13. There is a center there not active, and a weakness as felt at the lower portion of the right breast towards the center. This is the area of the disturbance.
14. In the digestive forces, when there are the needs of supplying those energies to the body, and the super-acidity, then a lack of ability of appetite, the lack of the ability to assimilate foods becomes a result, and the feverish feeling, and a weakness through the lower portion of the stomach, and through the appendicial area.
15. These are combinations from the reflexes in the lower dorsal and through the lumbar and sacral area. These are ONLY sympathetic conditions, as we find in the present.
16. The pancreas, spleen and liver activity are sensitive to the nervous reflexes through the body.
17. In the activity of the organs of the pelvis, we find - as indicated - there are adhesions, from those conditions caused by the areas being under great stress and strain.
18. With these subluxations in the lumbar and sacral removed, as also in the 11th and 12th dorsal, as well as those properties for the body taken in which there will be an aid to the supplying of the proper energies to the bodily forces, so that the glandular system, the blood supply and nerve energies are replenished and rebuilded, we may bring the normal forces for the body.
19. At the same
20. First we would begin, then, with corrective measures mechanically (osteopathically). Take about ten or twelve adjustments. In the beginning have these at least two each week; these in the lumbar and sacral and through the dorsal area; beginning from the lower portion and going upward, however, in the adjustments; coordinating the upper dorsal

AND the cervical with the corrective forces made.
21. Begin also at the same period with taking internally about one grain of CALCIDIN every other day.
22. Also every other day we would take CALCIOS, but on opposite days from the CALCIDIN; taking about the quantity as would be required to spread on a premium cracker well buttered with same. Take it in this manner.
23. Then, as to the general diet - these are the DON'TS:
24. Do not take cream or milk in coffee or tea. Do not eat white bread. Do not eat fried potatoes or fried meats. A little crisp bacon is very well, but not fried meats or foods fried in deep fat.
25. DO have plenty of citrus fruit juices. DO have plenty of cereals that carry B-1 Vitamin; as in rolled oats, in squash, in corn or corn cereals - but not at the same meal with the citrus fruit juices.
26. Use yellow meal for the corn bread, and have this at least three to four times each week.
27. Have plenty of liver, tripe, pigs' feet and the like.
28. Have plenty of okra whenever possible, even though it is canned, but not that which has vinegar in same. These and such characters, provided they are not fried, should be a portion of the diet - though, to be sure, not all of the diet.
29. To be sure, plenty of nuts and fruits of all characters.
30. DO these, and we find we will bring better and normal forces for this body, [2376].
31. Ready for questions.
32. (Q) What is cause and relief for the pain and distress in or near my stomach, a little to the left? (A) As indicated, this is a portion of the disturbances in the attempt of the system to supply the blood forces at the time when there is the call upon the system for more white blood supply. This is part of the activity of the spleen itself. The sensitiveness of the whole body causes the super reaction in these directions. Those corrections, and those properties as indicated that aid the system in supplying the elements necessary, should relieve these disturbances in less than a week.
33. (Q) What is the cause and relief for the headaches that I have? (A) The disturbances in the pelvic system.
34. (Q) What is the condition of my eyes? Do I need glasses? (A) If the corrections are made soon, no. If they are not, yes.
35. (Q) Do I have a diseased appendix, if so, how may it be cured?
2376-1 Page 4
(A) It is more in the reflexes from the ovarian discharge than the inflammation. Keep better eliminations, and we will find the conditions through the caecum disappearing, as well as with the corrections and properties indicated the relieving of the disturbance through the right ovary.
36. (Q) Do I have a cyst on an ovary? (A) No.
37. (Q) What causes apparent deficiency in sex relationships, and how may this be normalized? (A) By the supplying of those deficient forces in the body to supply better reactions to all the organs of the pelvis. And these as we find may be stimulated not only through the addition to the system of those properties indicated to aid in purifying and clarifying the glandular system in its reaction, but through the stimulating of the centers as indicated for better blood supply. Thus the need that the diet be kept in the order indicated. Do not do one portion of these suggestions without doing the whole of that indicated; else we may create an excess of a disturbance in one area and a deficiency in another. These are given to work together. Do that.
38. (Q) What causes pain under my shoulder blades? (A) As indicated, that from the lung.
39. (Q) What color should I wear? (A) For this body MOST any color, but those to which the body vibrates are orchid and purple.
40. (Q) Is there any special jewelry or stone I should wear that would raise my vibration? (A) The lapis lazuli would be very good for the body, if it were worn in crystal next to the skin.
41. (Q) Is typhoid inoculation good for a body? (A) Depends upon the conditions. There are circumstances under which it is necessary. These should not have much to do with the body, under the existent conditions. [See 2376-1, Par. R1.]
