1. GC: You will give the relation of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity, that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: (In going back over years from the present - " - '39 - changes in outlook - " etc., on back to birth date.)
3. Yes - we are given the records here of that entity now known as or called [2376].
4. In interpreting the records here, there is much from which to choose.
5. First, we would give the seal - which in itself may indicate much for the entity:
6. In the center would be a white book. Upon this would be drawn a rose, pink, with three leaves - the rose a bud just opening. On the side of the book a honey bee; crawling, as it were, toward the flower. The book would not be open, but there would be a marker of ribbon extending from same; this, of course, in the lower part, and near the center of the book. This, alone, would be the seal; the interpretation indicating the latent knowledge and abilities - as by the book itself; the rose indicating the beauty and the sweetness of the life, indicated not only by the bee but by the rose itself, and that this life is to be given in making the associations with others as a book that may be read of all, and as the beauty and the sweetness of the life would be to others.
7. In interpreting the records as we find them here for this entity, there is much from which to choose. For, many have been the appearances of the entity in the earth, and these
2376-4 Page 2
influence the emotional life and the spiritual life much more than the ordinarily termed astrological aspects, or the sojourns of the entity during the interims between appearances in the earth.
8. While consciousnesses in other dimensional appearances might be indicated in some forms of interpretation of the experiences in the earth, we find that the earthly sojourns bear more upon the emotional and mental life of the entity than do astrological aspects.
9. As would be indicated by the seal, this is rather an unusual experience for entities. Not that the entity has reached perfection - others wouldn't say so, at least! yet the entity judges others seldom, and few have attained to that in the material world.
10. The entity latently holds, as it did proclaim in one of its experiences, "Others may do as they may, but as for me, I will hold to the purposes, the ideals, in a living God."
11. As to urges indicated in characteristics, we find Jupiter, Venus, Uranus and Saturn as a part of the consciousnesses.
12. Thus we find the desires and hopes to be helpful to all, in a beautiful way; not only as to the manner in which the entity would approach or speak with others, but in the holding of the tongue when others speak unkindly. Not that the entity doesn't get mad, and say bad words at times even! but these are not meant - they are things which the entity has to hold to in self, for they are not meant as other than being aggravated; though patience is a virtue the entity has in its experience. But multiply that, for ye have reached that consciousness that, with thy patience and with that desire in the Jupiterian influence for the universal consciousness, there are the abilities to express this in the beauty of character, the beauty of mien and manner, the beauty of friendship, the beauties of home, the beauties of associations, and - most of all - the abilities to overlook faults in others!
13. Then, don't listen - oft - to that which is scandal. Ye oft refrain, but ye listen - though ye may not comment. Don't listen! Change the subject! It will be well for thee, especially later on. While it may not touch thee, ye will know such in thy experience.
14. In Uranus we find the extremes.
15. We find in Saturn the sudden changes; which have more to do - in the extremes - with the material than the mental and spiritual.
16. Hence to the self, and to others, things are never as bad as they may appear from the outside - if the heart is
2376-4 Page 3
kept right. Remember, God looketh on the heart, man looketh on the outward appearances. But keep that whole faith.
17. As to the appearances in the earth, we find that these have been quite varied, and under quite varied circumstances. All may not appear to others as beautiful, but they were to the entity beautiful - in the experiences; and the entity made more than may appear from the outward appearance from same. Though all may not be given here, each one indicated influences the entity's experience in the present:
18. Before this the entity was in the land of the present nativity, but among the peoples that had settled in the islands off the coast of Carolina - the first settlers that were joined with some of the natives.
19. The entity was of the natives, but beautiful in body, beautiful in character, and in the hopes and the desires; seeking, though, for the expressions in the material associations.
20. There the entity gained, though in some respects it wandered far from the home in that experience - and in its associations with some of those that were the travelers through that portion of the land there were questions brought that have been and will be questions with the associations in the present, for the entity is the more closely associated with the companion of that experience. But the associations or connections with Bainbridge in that period were to the companion not pretty, yet they were taken as a part of the experience of the peoples of the period.
21. In the present we will find the likes and dislikes, the surety; what the entity likes it likes, and what the entity dislikes it says little about. These may be kept, or may be manifested the more in the present experience.
22. The associations through that experience will bring those activities that may be the building to that in which the entity may make the greater contribution in the present sojourn - in the home and in the lives of those in the home, and the associations with those contacts and those social conditions that will arise in the experience as connected with the home - which was that sought by the entity in that sojourn - as Dove.
23. Before that the entity was in the French land, in the period of the second of the Louises; when there were those activities that brought about the raising of individuals in the positions in the court, and the relationships with those of other countries - by the exchange of those individuals represented in the court.
24. The entity was a court lady in that experience, but
2376-4 Page 4
questioned as to some of the associations. And wishing itself to be as naught, the entity began all over again - so far as the social life would be considered - in the experience in America as just indicated.
25. Then as Marcelus Deleuex, the entity made for a CORRECTING of self in the material sojourn. And this is a part of the entity's present experience that will be found with few: It will admit as wrong that which has proven to the entity to be in error. It is well to adhere to this. Know what ye believe, but know the author of thy beliefs also. This may apply spiritually, mentally, as well as materially.
26. For, in that sojourn, though questioned - at times, the life experience was one that brought an expression of helpful influence, even in the whole of the land in that period.
27. Before that the entity was in the Roman land, being among the Grecian maidens that went with the activities that were brought about as entertainers in the courts in Rome.
28. Thus, because of its abilities as the danseuse, because of its abilities in the rhythm or movement of the body, the entity was among those chosen to be active in those periods when individuals and groups were chosen for the introduction of those activities in the Roman experience.
29. The entity gained throughout that period. No word, even of question, was ever brought; though the entity was oft in those places where many of the other associates were questioned.
30. The liking to dance, the liking of companionship with others, the timidity also in part from that experience, arise from that sojourn in the Grecian and in the Roman land - as Tel-Lea.
31. Before that the entity was in the Persian and the Arabian land, when there were those changes wrought by the individuals being sent from the Grecian land.
32. For, the entity was a Grecian in that period. Coming under the teachings of Uhjltd in the "city in the hills and the plains," the entity became as one assisting in the teaching and the ministering. Not as a nurse, as many of the others there, but more as the teacher of trades, of painting and sculpturing, of drawn work, embroidery work, and those things that made for the comforts of individuals in their ways or manners of expressing the beauties in nature, as well as in the characteristics or characters of individuals.
33. The name then was Leius. The entity gained, and in its latter associations built towards the home for the
2376-4 Page 5
activities that made for betterments of others as well as those periods of activity that came later in that experience.
34. Before that the entity was in the Promised Land, when the children of promise entered into the Holy Land.
35. The entity was among the younger peoples who came under the direction of Joshua; not as a servant, not as a companion, but as a helper in the activities of the entity Joshua as he prepared the messages for the various leaders or teachers, or the heads of the family. And the entity Joshua came to rely upon the entity in the latter days of his sojourn in that land.
36. Thus as the pronouncements were made by that leader, "Others may do as they may, but as for me, I will choose the living God," these became as an echo, as a symbol; and they remain so in the present experience of the entity. These have kept, these may keep the entity in that way of hope and understand- ing, if still held as the ideal in the present.
37. The name then was Leah.
38. Before that the entity was in the Egyptian land, in those experiences when changes were wrought in the activities of groups or individuals that were prepared for the entering of the new race.
39. The entity was among the first of those that were changed; not by those in the temple of Sacrifice, but by its birth. And in that the entity became one set up as an ideal, not an idol but as an ideal for others to attain to.
40. Then the entity became an assistant, a helper to the Priest through the latter part of his activities in that land. Living many years after the Priest had passed on, the entity then aided in those activities that followed the priest's demise or passage; aiding that one who came into authority as the religious leader - which during the entity's life period brought the greater help, even through the periods of stress by many of those who had been companions or closely associated with the Priest.
41. There the entity attained to its highest spiritual and mental unfoldment, and those tenets, those truths that were again proclaimed in a more understandable manner under Joshua ("Do others as they may"), were begun in that period in Egypt.
42. The entity then was in the name Lola, or - as the Priest called her - Shalmar; and that has become, to some of that land, as the word that would bring help to many.
43. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, that to which it may attain, and how:
44. Just keep in that attitude which is indicated in thy
2376-4 Page 6
seal; thy life itself a book, thy activities marked by thy contribution to a helpful force to all you meet, with the continued sweetness of purpose that may be as food to the hungry, even sinsick world! and they that would oft serve the Lord the more.
45. In the hope, in the associations, in the directing; not by long precepts, but by the living example; ye may bring harmony to many. For thy presence oft brings peace to others, when they will not even admit it. But it must be within self first, before ye may give it to others.
46. Ready for questions.
47. (Q) Why did I choose to come in this experience to my particular parents and for what purpose? (A) More as a means of meeting others that ye have!
48. (Q) What specific thing did I come into this experience to overcome and how may I accomplish same? (A) The little impatiences. While ye have patience, ye let little things worry - at times.
49. (Q) What am I best fitted to do? (A) Bring love and sweetness to the lives of those ye meet, by just being thyself.
50. (Q) Along what lines have I developed in my previous experiences? (A) Read what has been indicated - you will find many! Those abilities to teach, to practice, to give understanding; not so much by words as by the way you live yourself.
51. (Q) In what previous experiences and in what relationship have I been associated with my husband, [2636]? (A) In the experience before this, as indicated, and in the Egyptian experience when - who WASN'T you associated with? All that came into those activities having anything to do with the religious purposes in Egypt!
52. (Q) With my daughter [2942]? (A) In both the Roman and in the experience before this.
53. (Q) What specific thing do I have to work out with them at this time? (A) These may best be had by paralleling the faults and the virtues of each. Do not look for faults; that ye have been thus far blessed with, in this experience - overlooking the faults. For, as ye forgive - ONLY as ye forgive, DO ye forgive - may ye be forgiven.
