Time of Reading 11:15 to 11:40 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Virginia.
1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2390].
3. Now as we find, there are those conditions - and the character of such - of which the body should take warning, rather than any great disturbances at the present time.
4. While there are acute conditions arising at times that cause anxiety and some dis-ease, we find that in the present there are not diseased organs.
5. These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body, [2390] we are speaking of, present in this room: First,
6. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, we find the indication of a form of anemia. This produces a taxation, then, upon various portions of the system at times; thus upsetting the body, especially in those periods when there are drainages set up in the system.
7. These then produce disturbances of a nervous nature through the organs of the pelvis. This also weakens the abilities at times in the expansion and in the purifying of the circulation through the lungs.
8. There is not indicated a disturbance of a diseased nature, but a weakened condition and tendencies through the functioning of the organs of the system.
9. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, we find that the body oft labors under a high nervous tension. This is partially because of the weakened conditions through the system, especially at periods, and when such occurs - the nervous strain - it causes a form of congestion - as through the lower portion of the lung, or at the cardiac portion of the stomach itself, a feeling of heaviness - and a pressure, as of shortness of breath. At other times there is a feeling of
2390-4 Page 2
heaviness, or a drawing, an aching, in the area of the pelvis - in the tubes and the ovary.
10. These as we find are reflex conditions, but without the correction we may find these continuing; and, under congestion - either from cold or any form of unusual anxiety, or overtaxing of the physical vitality of the body, might show catarrhal congestion through the tubes or the ovary - especially in the left tube, but in the right ovary.
11. AS TO THE FUNCTIONING OF THE ORGANS THEMSELVES, brain forces and reflexes are very good.
12. The organs of the sensory system need care and attention. For, under any nervous stress - with a depleted blood supply - the vision, hearing, taste, smell, ALL suffer. Hence these must be considered in the administrations that would bring a normalcy for the body.
13. Throat, bronchi, lungs and larynx - all of these physically, or organically, are very good. Reflexly, through the nervous system, the awareness of such is apparent - as we have indicated.
14. Heart is near normal in functioning.
15. Digestive forces as related to liver and kidneys are very good; though at such periods of suppression in activity - or in the Periods - these all show some distress; and the eliminations become disturbed.
16. Through the alimentary canal we find that the nervous forces, the sympathetic forces through the lymph in same, show the LACK of quantity rather than quality in its activity; though not organically involved. For, there is not an unbalanced chemical condition, but the lymph forces that exist are well USED - and there are the needs for strengthening the vital forces that go to make up a better circulation.
17. As indicated, the organs of the pelvis show stresses; especially in the Periods. For, with the general disturbance in the blood - and the overactivity of same at times, with the sparse or scarce activity at others - there is the indication that congestion might easily take place.
18. THEN, IN MAKING ADMINISTRATIONS FOR THE BETTERMENT OF THE GENERAL CONDITIONS OF THE BODY:
19. First, the disturbances that are apparent are to be considered. Hence we would add these to the activities of the body:
20. Each evening, or at least three to four evenings each week, we would use the electrically driven vibrator to produce stimulation in certain areas of the body. Begin with the Cup Applicator, applied directly to the body (the
2390-4 Page 3
skin, you see), especially over the lumbar and sacral areas and to the 9th dorsal. Go upward this far on the spine, then on either side, in a circular motion, to make for a stimulating.
21. Then begin at the base of the brain and go downward to the 9th dorsal, slowly, thoroughly, directly on the spine first, then on either side and down the same way.
22. Then use the Sponge Applicator across the diaphragm area - this back and forward, then on either side over the area of the floating rib to the groin on each side of the body.
23. After such a vibrator treatment, then massage the body with Peanut Oil - over the liver and the whole of the abdominal area.
24. Once each day, even during these warm periods, take internally the ADIRON as a stimulant for a better balance in the vital forces and to add iron to the body-force itself.
25. Also in the diet keep plenty of green vegetables, raw as well as cooked. The meats should consist principally of fish, fowl and lamb - these as we find are the better for the body.
26. Do these, and we will bring near to normal conditions for this body.
27. Ready for questions.
28. (Q) What causes the slowness, sometimes three days, in starting to menstruate? (A) Because of the slow circulation, as indicated. Thus the use of the massage as well as the vibration along the cerebrospinal centers in the manner outlined, to stimulate more normal activity.
29. (Q) Is there any sign of cancer? (A) No sign of cancer. As indicated, there is not an abnormal balance in the chemical forces; though there is a lack of sufficient lymph circulation. Hence through the emunctory activity in the soft tissue in and about the pelvic organs there is the tendency for dryness. Thus the use of the massage as outlined. Each month after the Period we would use a mild douche of Atomidine, followed by a Glyco-Thymoline douche. Use only a Fountain Syringe. The proportions would be twenty drops of Atomidine in a quart of body-temperature water, followed by a teaspoonful of Glyco-Thymoline in a pint of body- temperature water.
30. (Q) Was the skin disease I had in Sept. 1939 caused by nerves? (A) Nerves alone!
31. (Q) Is the little pimple on my left hand from the same
2390-4 Page 4
cause, and what should be done for it? (A) Once or twice a day apply Atomidine. This is from the nerves and poor blood circulation, and the anemia. Thus in the foods add quantities of Vitamin B-1; such as in all characters of foods that are yellow in color - as well as chewing chicken bones.
32. (Q) Please give any exercises that would be helpful in keeping my body healthy? (A) We would give two forms of exercise that would be well; one to be taken night and morning, the other to be taken not so often - only about twice or three times each week. Of morning upon arising take the head and neck exercise. Sitting erect, bend the head forward twice, slowly; then back; then to the side - first one side than the other. Then circle the head and neck slowly, first one way, then the other - about four times. When ready to retire of evening, lie straight and then raise the body two to three times; if possible, not drawing up feet. This will not be practical at first, but will strengthen the muscular forces across the lumbar area, as well as through the abdomen. Then follow this with the head and neck exercise. Then about twice each week - standing, rise on the toes, with the hands being raised high above the head as the body rises on the toes. Then, with the hands extended straight, swing the body to each side, as if attempting to turn the body around; slowly but very positively. Do these.
33. (Q) Are cigarettes in moderation harmful to me? (A) Rather in most cases, as well as here, these would be beneficial in moderation. True, they add a poison - but it is of such a character that it is active upon the nerves so as to be beneficial in digestion, as well as in quieting the nerves.
34. (Q) Is alcohol in moderation harmful to me? (A) All forms of alcohol are HARMFUL; especially anything made with hops!
35. (Q) From a physical standpoint, would it be wise for me to stop work? (A) Wouldn't be wise. You might slow down, but not wise to stop entirely - in the present.
36. (Q) Any other advice? (A) A great deal might be given as to the spiritual or
2390-4 Page 5
mental outlook. This the body understands. Keep that attitude of creative influences. For "as ye sow ye reap" is in the mental as well as in the physical. That ye think ye become, as that ye absorb ye become. Keep the mental attitude creative.
