This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 20th day of March, 1943, in accordance with request made by the self - Mrs. [2390], Associate Member of the Ass''n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

P R E S E N T

Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. Mrs. [2390], Mr. [2533], Mrs. [2175], Mrs. [1523], Mrs. [2823], Mrs. [845], and Annie McCoy.

R E A D I N G

Time of Reading 3:45 to 4:30 P. M. Eastern War Time. ..., Va.

1. GC: You will have before you the life existence in the earth plane of [2390], born August 24, 1910 in Marietta, Georgia; and the earthly existence of this entity in Egypt as Tar-Ello, the companion of the Priest during the regeneration period. You will give a biographical life of the entity in that day and plane of earthly existence, from entrance, and how, into the earth's plane, and the entity's departure; giving the development or retarding points in such an existence. You will then answer the questions, as I ask them, concerning the associations and influences in the present from that period:

2. EC: Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as [2390], as in the experience in the earth during the Egyptian sojourn.

3. As has been indicated, not all of this is beautiful - and yet there are many who would not agree, even among those present - the associates of the entity.

4. Something of the period should be understood, if there is to be given a correct interpretation, so that the entity may apply that answering to self in the present experience.

5. For, some of those activities must be met in this period of sojourn.

6. In the period there were those activities that possibly were at the height of the period of the Priest; having established the activities in the Temple of Sacrifice, where individuals - as might be termed - were regenerated, or had so prepared their bodies that their offspring were free from those appendages, those varied activities.

7. For, the Priest had not interpreted in himself that even that being attempted was a matter of spiritual evolution. Thus, as many an individual, the Priest had attempted to hurry the process, or to placate God's purposes with individuals.

8. In this the Priest had also regenerated self, as to turn

back time - as it were - in his own body. This, too, as will be seen in part, was not in keeping with the whole law of spiritual evolution.

9. The entity then, now known as [2390] was that one first completed in that physical evolution, as to being the perfect body - as indicated through the activity of the parents in the Temples of Sacrifice and in the Temple Beautiful. Thus the entity then, Tar-Ello, was the first of the fair face who also had fair hair and blue eyes; this indicating to the Priest a completing of the purpose that had been the physical intent in those activities undertaken.

10. There were not the considerations that even among crows there are at times white ones, nor that among those of the dark skin, flat-haired, there are occasionally the pure white.

11. Not that this is other than as the environ, and thus may be considered by some as an excuse.

12. To the entity: DO NOT attempt to justify self, ever. Rather let thy purpose, thy desire, thy hope, thy faith, ever be - in purpose - to the glory of the Father through the Son, manifested in the earth, who NEVER - NEVER - attempted to supplant; only applied the laws of God in the spiritual, in the mental, and thus in the material brought miracles, the increase, the activity that overcame the laws of gravity. These YE may do, as the children of God. For to each that lives with and in keeping with the purposes of all to the glory of the Father, He gives power for such to become the children of God, brothers then with that way and purpose.

13. In the experience then, it became as the natural consequence that the entity became the ideal of the Priest, the inspiration to give greater stress upon those activities in the Temple of Sacrifice.

14. Thus did the entity, early, become that close companion of the Priest; ministering oft with the Priest in the ritual, the activities that gradually became more and more the requirements of the Priest, as individuals chose to become the channels for those unfoldments.

15. Thus in the present the entity will find that there are many, especially those that were closely associated in the activities either in the Temple of Sacrifice or in the Temple Beautiful the more, who look upon the entity in the soul-self as being one apart. And there is latent within others that desire for worshipfulness towards the entity. This is to be, and will be materially, the hardship in the present experience of the entity. For, others will pattern themselves by the entity, by their nature - in habits, in

speech, in activities of the entity, in spite - yea, despite their own selves - if they were closely associated with the entity.

16. Throughout the period of the life experience of the Priest the entity remained in that position as would bring those latent and manifested urges in the experiences of individuals. But the periods following the passing of the Priest, in the realization that there must be other consciousnesses, other doors, other degrees through which each soul must pass if it would attain to that oneness that is found in the Christ as the way, the entity for a period remained as one unable to meet the conditions, the environs, alone.

17. Thus the entity experiences in the present that it consciously and unconsciously leans upon the counsel, the advice, the strength or weakness of others.

18. After those periods, the entity joined with that entity who is the present companion, who ALSO had made those preparations for what might be called material and mental security in the experiences of individuals. There was then the natural attraction, which has been experienced, and which in the present may oft come as such an influence that they can't stay together and oft can't stay apart!

19. These were the periods that brought changes. The entity gave way to the material things, and self-indulgences brought in the latter portion of that period regrets, - that, next to jealousy, sap the spiritual purpose in the mental attributes of body and mind of an individual manifested in materiality.

20. Thus the lesson to the entity: Do not let regret, jealousy, become a part of thy mental experience. These ye can control in thy mental self. Not always easy, but putting that purpose forth as indicated - the hope, the desire, the faith in the promise of Him - He may take away thy burdens. Not as the Priest, who was not able to return nor to take away the longings for association, for companionship. But in the Master, who is the way, mind and body, spirit and soul, may become one with that purpose of Creative Forces; that may not disintegrate with activity, but grow - as love - in demonstration; and feeds not upon the weaknesses or the miseries of others.

23. (Q) In what way do the regenerations of that period tie in with my present life, and how can I best use them constructively? (A) As indicated. Trust not in those things that are of the material making, but in those that are ever creative;

letting those activities of self-indulgence or self-gratification not ever become the rule, but rather purposefully building towards the consciousness of the Christ-presence.

24. (Q) In previous readings it has been given that I can recall certain experiences from past incarnations. In order that I may become more conscious of these experiences and they will help me to develop spiritually, please give instructions as to the method of meditation that will be best for me. (A) As indicated in that given, when ye would meditate - or when ye would sleep, put all hate, all jealousy, all regret, from thy mind - by filling the mind with the consciousness of the Christ-power. For, as He hath given, each soul is in that consciousness it has builded - by what it has done ABOUT universal consciousness in its experiences. Thus, as the entity knows itself, its weaknesses, its faults, put them away; trusting in Him. For His promises are to bring to the remembrance of all, that which will enable them to EVER glorify God in their dealings with others. Thus, as given, to him who hath much, much may be given. To him who hath much, of him much is required. As others will, and do consciously and unconsciously look to thee - for a look, for a word, for an expression - so live as to ever be to others one that walks and talks oft with Him. This will enable the entity to fulfillthat purpose for which it came into this experience. That there is the bond of sympathy, the bond of love, with that companion in that experience - even though there was the losing in self - self in the present, by that united effort, may use same as a stepping-stone to the consciousness of the use of abilities, of purposes, of desires and hopes in the present; and thus becoming stepping-stones rather than stumbling-stones.

25. (Q) Did I have any constructive part in either the building of the Great Pyramid or the records therein? (A) They are in the records of the pyramid of records, not the Great Pyramid. The Great Pyramid was the initiating building. The records are in the Temple, or pyramids of records of the entity. To be sure, these will be a part of the experience some time when these are unfolded.

26. (Q) What portion of my life seal comes from that period? (A) The abilities as indicated in the central figure or

27. (Q) Please explain the significance of my vision of Egypt, as the little girl on the steps, during my incarnation as Leila Cayce. (A) This, as indicated, was one of those reasons for the return. For, as there were those unfoldments in the Egyptian experience, in the Temple of Sacrifice - as so oft indicated would be represented by a hospital or a surgeon's ward today, but with a spiritual import (though the priest lost the ideal from that brought forth) rather than for the purely material as seen in such present institutions - the entity, in the vision, saw that there would not yet be the opportunity for the union with the companion of that period, either as the priest or as the later companion of that experience.

28. (Q) What were the associations in that period with the following, what are the present urges, and how may they be met for our mutual development: First, [2175]? (A) There the associations were such that the entity was one almost worshiped by the entity now known as [2175]; looked up to. And thus in the present there is ever the feeling of security between the two, with periods of doubting each other as if they well would fight! then periods when there is the looking of one to the other for directions. The doubts arise, of course, when physical questions come. In the matter of mental and spiritual, they may lean one toward the other.

29. (Q) [1523]? (A) Questionings; for these were as periods when there were the expressions later from the entity, [1523], "I told you she'd fall - the right man came along!"

30. (Q) [2823]? (A) These experiences were where the entity now [2823] was among those assisting in the periods not only of the preparation of the body through which the entity came, but the caring for same in the early stages. What might be termed, then, as a motherly feeling oft, and then periods of shudder - not as of fear, not as of doubt, but not just comprehending as to the variations in attainment through that experience. PURELY mental.

31. (Q) [413]? (A) A close association; that brings - not because of the variations in their experiences, either of years or of policies; for policies are quite different, but as of reverence one for the other. Through those periods of the unfoldment, and when the entity was the inspiration to the Priest, it led to the inspiration to all who cared for

others through that period. Thus quite a variation arises at the moods of the entity in groups, or in individual associations.

32. (Q) [288]? (A) Not associated in the experience.

33. (Q) Annie McCoy? (A) We do not find Annie McCoy.

34. (Q) [808]? (A) The same as would be of worshipfulness one to the other. Companions, close in the periods just before activity as the companion of the Priest.
