R E A D I N G
Born July 18, 1890, in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Time of Reading 3:40 to 4:20 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City.
1. HLC: You will give the relation of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the entity in the present, that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: (In going back over the years from the present - " - '36 - seeking and application - '30 - searching - '28 - '21 - changes - " etc., on back to birth date.)
3. Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as or called [2405].
4. In giving the interpretations of the records, there is much that might be given or indicated that would bring those influences which might be good or might be bad.
5. But these are chosen with the desire and purpose that this may be a helpful experience for the entity, enabling it to be, to grow more to, that for which it entered this present experience; minimizing the faults, magnifying the virtues; that He, the Father-God, may have His way with thee.
6. Many influences arise in the experience of this entity, many that are of the material nature from the present sojourn or activity. For, as has been indicated, the searching for that as may answer to something within has been much in the experience of this entity.
7. There are many influences without and within that have their relationships, their bearing upon the natures of the entity; indicating the manner of thought and the ways in which the entity seeks. That as may answer to that which has been the experience through the sojourns in the earth,

as well as the interims between same.
8. Not that the entity as a physical being has dwelt upon Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, Saturn and Uranus, but in those consciousnesses that are peculiar to the conditions or dimensions of those planes of consciousness.
9. For they, as the earth, are a part of His creation and a part of thy abode - just as the material consciousness in the earth.
10. Hence we find these influences arising from same:
11. In Mercury we find the high mental abilities in the direction of the seeker, the searcher.
12. We find in Jupiter the abilities as an interpreter, a teacher.
13. But Venus has come between. Here we find the appreciations of the beautiful - the associations of activities that have applied or do apply to the mental and material things. Hence the entity seeks, to be sure, the practical forces, the practical influences and their materialization in a material consciousness. This is not a fault, no. Rather there would be given the warning that body, mind and soul are the dimensions of the entity, as represented in the Father, Son and Holy Spirit in the dimensions of a physical consciousness; and it is TO the realm of creative forces that each influence must answer.
14. In Saturn we find the variations and the divisions that have arisen in the experience of the entity from period to period, as well as the activities in the present sojourn. And these have not always been PHYSICALLY as a pleasure; but the application of self through those influences from the Uranian sojourn has made a cosmic consciousness of growth.
15. Thus in the entity's spirituality, and its application of purposes for which each soul enters materiality, it may gain the concept of its purpose and how self may apply self in this experience for the greater growth.
16. Also in the material sojourns we find the emotional natures, that find expression through what may be called the senses, or the feelings of the entity, the abilities to comprehend the awarenesses of influences about the entity.
17. Hence we find, as to the sojourns - while all may not be indicated here, in the present - these are given because of their influence, their bearing upon the problems for the entity in the present part of this experience, of this sojourn:
18. Before this the entity was in the land of the present nativity, during the early settlings, but in those eastern portions of same - as in Pennsylvania, during the activities when there was the first establishing of the

"city of brotherly love."
19. Hence we find from the entity's training, the entity's development through that experience, the entity is one of her own sex that may keep a secret; one who speaks when spoken to; one who minds her own affairs; one who may counsel much with those in many varied phases or stages of their mental or spiritual development.
20. Not all of the experiences or activities of the entity during that sojourn were given to what might be called the theological questions, but there was also the practical application of same.
21. Thus again in the present we find the practicality, or the practicability of the entity, and as to why and how there must be in portions of the experience the ability to make daily applications - rather than the purely mystical or mythical influences in the affairs of others having a great bearing. Not that the entity doesn't listen to such, - but to the entity there must be more of the spiritual forces than the mythical influence in the own experience.
22. The name then was Agatha Abindon. The entity gained; and in the present - though oft under trials - the entity is applying those experiences for helpful forces in its activities.
23. Before that the entity was in that land now known as the French, during those periods when there were the first of the holy wars; the entity being near to the coast of what is now Spain - or upon the eastern shore of those lands joining nigh to the sea.
24. The entity was left by those who were imbued with principles or ideals half understood. Hence during that experience the entity did not feel sure of itself or of the activities of its companions.
25. This has brought into the present experience the doubts as to relationships of individuals for those purposes of material concepts, or that alone founded upon principles of emotions in the physical experiences.
26. The name then was Cheveux (Abbie).
27. Before that the entity was in the Holy Land, during that activity when there was the persecution of those who had gained that insight into the purposes of the Teacher who had been crucified.
28. Yet in the joining with those of many other lands, the entity became imbued with those principles and activities that brought about definite influences and experiences for those who followed closely in same.
29. Hence the entity became a teacher, a minister to the needs of those who were called the saints of that period, as

there began the establishings of the organizations, and yet persecutions of those in same.
30. This has brought into the present experience a significant influence respecting leaders or directors of groups or organizations. Analyze that in thine own experience, as ye teach and minister to the needs of others.
31. The entity gained, the entity lost, the entity gained through those periods - as one Pertha.
32. Before that the entity was in the Egyptian land, during those periods of reconstruction after the turmoils and strifes had arisen through the activities of the Atlanteans, as well as the rebellions in the land.
33. The entity was among those who aided in the establishings of groups for definite work, in what would in the present be termed the vocational guidances in the activities, in the various phases and actions of groups.
34. This we find also as a part of the present experience of the entity, as there is determined within self as to the tenets, the ideals that ARE practical in the experiences of individuals, are assumed or taken hold of through same. Thus may the entity find the outlet for its abilities, and bring into its experience the greater harmonies in this activity in the earth.
35. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, then, - that to which it may attain, and how:
36. First - know in what ye have believed and do believe. Know thine own ideal - mental, spiritual, material; and know the author of same. Not of material, not of mental, but of the spiritual import in same. And be SURE that He is able to keep that committed unto Him against any experience that may arise in the affairs of thy fellow men.
37. Then, teach and minister such in the experiences of others who seek to know the more excellent way.
38. For, as ye experienced in the Holy Land, as ye experienced in aiding in the Egyptian experience, as ye made practical in thy sojourn in the land of thy own present nativity, SO may ye again realize His purpose, His desire with thee!
39. For, it is not merely what one believes that counts, but what one does ABOUT that believed!
40. Know that thy body is the temple of the living God. THERE He has promised to meet thee.
41. Do not be satisfied with substitutes; for He will walk and talk with thee, and ye will recognize Him in, "Fear not, it is I."

43. (Q) What does my soul wish me to do?

(A) Be with Him.
44. (Q) Where do my talents lie? (A) In teaching and ministering.
45. (Q) Would you advise attempts at play writing? (A) If these are such that they teach that lesson of sowing the seeds of truth, yes.
46. (Q) What about writing on psychological subjects? (A) Very well; but the other would be the better.
47. (Q) What about political subjects? (A) Fine! for there is needed more spirituality in such!
48. (Q) What about speaking, organizing, or executive work? (A) As indicated, find self first - and then all of these will be the outgrowth of same.
49. (Q) Have I a future karmic marital connection? (A) If so, it will be shown thee. We do not find it indicated in this we are viewing at present. It may arise.
50. (Q) Will I contact my Master in this lifetime? (A) Read what has been given. For, He will walk and talk with thee; if ye seek to do His bidding.
51. (Q) How should I earn money? (A) Through those channels of the writing and ministering to others.
52. (Q) Have I a future European karma, and is it of a political nature? (A) We do not find it so indicated, unless it be in those relationships as may be regarding Egypt or Palestine.
53. (Q) Do I have any karmic influence regarding my health, and what should I do about it? (A) We do not find the conditions of health karmic; rather the result of material application of law in the present experience.
