1. HLC: You will give the relation of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the entity in the present, that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: (In going back over years from the present - " - '36 - yes, attitudes mentally and physically changed - '31 - content, and yet disturbed inwardly - '25 - a change - " etc., on back to birth date.)

3. Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as or called [2408].

4. In giving the interpretations of the records as we find them, not all that is possible for an interpretation may be given at once. For, full indeed have been the activities of this entity through the sojourns in the earth, as well as those interims of sojourn between the material or earthly manifestations.

5. But these we choose from the records with the desire and purpose that this may be a helpful experience for the entity; enabling it to be more definite in those choices of activities here, now; that it may fill that purpose for which it entered the present experience; minimizing the faults, magnifying the virtues. For, these have been quite at variance through the varied experiences.

6. A pattern of the life tree would be of interest. This, however, we would leave for the present; for, much of this may be drawn by the entity from that as we find that may be

2408-1 Page 2

interpreted from the latent and manifested urges from astrological (so called) aspects, and from the application the entity has made of its abilities and virtues through the varied experiences.

7. INNATELY, these we find as a composite of the astrological and material sojourns:

8. One that feels very deeply as to mental and spiritual aspects; at times losing sight even of material things.

9. At times we find the entity is one that is fearful of criticism from others; and thus oft, though deeply affectionate towards THINGS, keeps self afar as to circumstance and people. There is not so much fear of criticism as the fear of being misunderstood.

10. Astrologically, then, we find these as the latent and manifested urges: Uranus, Mercury, Venus, Saturn and Jupiter - all, in various phases, are a part of the entity's soul experience.

11. Hence the extremes in the manner of its approach to various phases of individual or human endeavor in material things.

12. Yet, as from the Mercurian influence, we find the entity remaining in or holding to the thought (as thought would give expressions) of the practical influences in material experience. There are the high mental abilities.

13. From Venus we find the appreciations, the beauties of associations. Thus friendships and their inner meanings surpass what might be termed the relationships of duties or obligations (as termed by the materialist), in the earthly or material sojourn of the entity. Thus we find oft there has been in material expression a confusion as to the manifested influences indicated in a composite reaction from the material and the astral or astrological sojourns.

14. In Jupiter and Saturn we find both the benevolent and the adverse influences. As indicated in Jupiter, the entity has much that should, may and will be of assistance in creating or bringing to the awareness of individuals and groups a way of thought that, though subtle in its nature, becomes far-reaching in the manner that such individuals react to those influences of environment or heredity in their individual experience.

15. We find in Saturn the changes that have been, will be, both good and bad; as judged from the purely materialistic angle; yet in the mental and spiritual phases most of the changes that have been wrought in the present have been toward the more perfect understanding.

16. This pattern, as a part of the entity's experience, should be fused into that as may assist in arousing the

2408-1 Page 3

urges in and toward those influences the entity may have upon those with whom the entity comes in contact personally, as well as mentally - through the abilities to draw patterns for individuals who are SEEKING the better way.

17. In analyzing the material urges, as the awareness of same finds expression in the sense forces - the entity possibly needs to be reminded of some of those tenets that are not merely as tenets but as laws. And know that law is love, truth, harmony. God IS the first cause, who made, who gave, who IS that influence or force which impels thinkers to search for that which responds or answers to that influence within - as to WHY a soul, an entity, a body manifests in the earth - whence it came and whither it goes when the soul has taken leave of the shell, or the body. The BODY is the temple of the living God. The purpose of manifestation is that one, the soul, may be equal with Him; with the awareness of being itself yet one with Him.

18. In material manifestation, or the activities of these principles in a causation or three-dimensional world, one gradually realizes then the less of self and the more of world, one gradually realizes then the less of self and the more of the creative forces in the experience; thus bringing one closer to the understanding that like begets like, - that what is sown in spirit may GROW in mind, may find fruit in materiality - and that this changed may be just the reverse - that the dwelling upon material influence of selfish natures separates spirit from the control of mind, the builder.

19. Then, in giving the sojourns of this entity in the material plane, all at present are not manifested as urges. Some have been met, in what is at times termed karma, or in relation to material conditions, mental attitudes; or some may yet be a part of the experience - dependent upon the choice the entity takes respecting the application of its ideals under any given circumstance.

20. That is not merely a truism - it is TRUTH - as will be the awareness to which each soul must at one time come to the realization of.

21. Then, as to the appearances in the earth that make for urges in the present:

22. Before this we find the entity was in the land of the present nativity, during the era of the early settlings in the land, when there were the activities prompted by search for freedom of speech, of activity, of worship; not merely as a principle but as a divine right of the individual.

23. The entity came into the experience in those activities that were centered about what was known as Fort Dearborn.

2408-1 Page 4

With the material turmoils produced by selfishness of others, the household and the companions of the entity sought refuge not with those who fled eastward and southward to security of numbers, but with those peoples of the land - the natives.

24. Thus the entity became the better acquainted with the practical application of those things close to nature, and to those influences of the mental activity that had relied and did rely upon the truths in a higher force.

25. Hence, with the first basic force of freedom, there came in the activities of the entity the combined efforts of NATURE manifesting God and the practical application of freedom in relationship to others as individuals.

26. In the expression of that experience in the present the entity finds an influence by ritual, or by authorities that would dictate, rather as a hindrance than a help. Not that there is not the appreciation of the united effort being made, but rather that the united effort shall not be prompted by selfish motives of individuals - rather by the natural sources of an all-creative influence or force.

27. The name then was Eva Elder. The entity gained through that experience, and may well apply much of that as arises innately through the study and the application of those signs, those symbols that have been given man as to his relationships to the Creative Forces.

28. Among the better manners of giving expression to same will be in the writing, or the publishing of helpful notes as to seasons, years, days, in the experiences of individuals as they seek to apply their own virtues for a common cause, and not for selfish motives.

29. Before that the entity was in the Promised Land, in the days preceding and just following the entrance of the Prince of Peace into the material manifestation in the earth.

30. The entity was among those of a group, an organization as it would be called in the present, who sought - through the mysteries of the sages - to interpret time and place according to the stars and the numerological effects upon the period in which the entity found material expression.

31. Thus, while not as one who set itself above others, the entity was much sought after, and interpreted much for those in material authority of that group. Hence, as there were those applications of individuals who were prone to interpret and apply that knowledge for material benefits, disturbance arose with the entity and some of those in authority among the Essenes.

32. Thus the study of the religious principles of many cults, of may groups, of many lands, has been and is that

2408-1 Page 5

for which the entity searches; and yet feels at times afraid of same.

33. In that experience the entity gained, the entity lost, the entity gained. For, with those realizations of individuals assuming authority for selfish motives, those influences of a nature brought the desire to hide self's knowledge away, without giving expression to same to all the seekers of those groups.

34. Hence we find in the present application or experience the composite picture of the fears at times of coming close to others, or of allowing affection or sentiment to become too much a ruling factor. Yet latent such exists in the experience of the entity.

35. Then the entity was in the name Anna; not the one in the temple, but that one who made the choices eventually of the twelve maidens who were to be chosen as the channels that might know that truth so thoroughly as to be moved by the Holy Spirit.

36. Before that the entity was in the Persian and Arabian land, during those periods when there were those activities in the "city in the hills" for giving those promptings, those helps to those of many lands, many groups, many nations.

37. The entity was the one upon whom that leader relied, in reading in the sand, in the sun, in the moon and the stars, the destinies of those who approached for the interpretations of their lives in that periods of activity.

38. Hence the entity was the soothsayer, as would be called to day, or an interpreter of signs.

39. In the present then, from that sojourn, the entity has the ability to apply such forces in the experiences of others for beneficial effects, from what is at times called the psychic or soul or mystic urge.

40. Forget not that these, too, must be founded in what it causes or produces or tends to bring into the awareness of individuals; and that same must be prompted by spiritual things and not material things.

41. For, it is the mind that builds; and whether the fruit of the spirit bringeth forth brambles or figs depends upon the application of that as may urge in the experience of an individual. And thus ye sow to the spirit or to the whirlwind.

42. The name then was Oman-Marh.

43. In the present - dwell much upon that given at tenets by the leader who followed after thy activities there; not as to tenets only, but as principles. For, these also manifested that way ye set in which God spoke to man. [GD's

2408-1 Page 6

note: The leader mentioned who gave the tenets following your activities in the Persian sojourn is probably Zend, the father of the first Zoroaster, who wrote the Zen-Avesta - sacred writings of Persia.]

44. Before that the entity was in the Egyptian land, during those periods of reconstruction, where there were the tenets of the Natives, The Priest, the Atlanteans, brought together for the common good of all. It was then that there were those set who, through their purification of intents and purposes, might aid others in finding these influences that would today called vocational guidance. (Yes, even the face then of the entity appears.)

45. Hence in the present, as ye apply those truths ye gain; not merely by the study of those things others have written, but by meditating thyself. For, as thy body is the temple of the living God, there He has promised to meet thee; and He has promised thy brethren, thy neighbors, thy friends, - yea, thy foes - to harken when they call.

46. Pray that ye may be that channel, that ye may be a manifesting channel through which the young - especially - may take hope and know that they, too, may have that guidance - as ye gave even through those experiences as Istah-Ilel.

47. In that application, use those truths as come to thee through thy deep meditation upon the signs, the symbols, the influences the entity has wrought upon the heavens in its course.

48. Change thy attitude to this: Know that what is in the heavens, even, did not produce a single characteristic in an individual soul; but that the individual soul, as a part of God, in any consciousness, wrought the changes that are signified in the activities at the time of materialization into a three-dimensional consciousness. For, faults and failures, sin and sorrow, are the outgrowth of disobedience to the divine law, and influence the heavens in the experiences of individual souls!

49. As to what the entity may attain, and how:

50. Who may tell a poem to give censure or praise?

51. Who may tell a rose to be sweet, or the music of the spheres to harmonize with God?

52. Seek His kingdom - that is within thine own consciousness - as to what ye desire to do with those opportunities, those privileges that come into thy experience.

53. Know thy ideal spiritually, mentally, materially; not as to the character or nature of what ye would desire that things be for thee, but as to that manner, that purpose,

2408-1 Page 7

that determination manifested in Him - who gave, "A new commandment I give unto the world, that ye love one another, even as I have loved you."

54. Know that with such an attitude the Lord is with thee, for His promises are sure; and He is able, He is willing, He keepeth His promises to the children of men.

55. And may those blessings in ye brought upon those souls in thy activity in Egypt, as manifested in Persia in the "city in the hills and the plains," and as ye sought in thy native land, keep thee in harmony, in peace with God and man!

56. Put God first, and in thy dealing with thy fellow men those spots, those blemishes that center in thy tree of life will bloom attain as even the blood makes you white as snow!
