1. HLC: You will give the relation of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity and that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: (In going back over years from the present - " - '31 - changes - '21 - yes - '19 - '17 - change - '14 - " etc., on back to birth date.)

3. Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as or called [2409].

4. In giving the interpretations of the records as we find them here, written upon the skein of time and space, interpreted in patience through the application the entity makes in relationships to others regarding that set as its ideal - spiritually, mentally - we find that there is brought into materialization those things which are the gift of the Creative Forces to those who seek His ways.

5. These interpretations are chosen with the desire and purpose that this be a helpful experience for this entity; enabling it to so analyze its own life, its own purposes, its own desires, that it may fulfillto the fuller measure those purposes for which it entered this present experience.

6. We would minimize the faults; we would magnify the virtues. for, in His mercy, and in His love, they that seek to know the way may miss much of the turmoil that arises in the experiences of those who regardless of their ideal must gratify their motives of self-indulgence in one manner or another.

7. There are two measures in which signs are indicated as to what an entity has done about the opportunities - that is, the influences from the astrological sojourns and the earthly sojourns. These each find a manner of expression in the greater part through phases of the body-forces of an entity.

8. For, as the entity analyzes itself it finds body-physical, body-mental, body-spiritual. Hence mind is the measure, the builder, between spiritual and material. Mind is the measure between the spiritual and the mental, though varied as a river in its various manners of awareness or consciousness as to it source.

9. Then, we find the astrological influences finding expression through the dreams, the longings, the hopes. If one will analyze that indicated as to the manner, the means chosen by Creative Forces to manifest to those in the material plane (as the entity has done at times, in its experience), it will be understood that visions and dreams are oft the manners through which one applies self to bring about a materialization of the hopes and desires.

10. Thus partially in the beginning, and more as application is made, there may be the understanding of how influences may be felt by an entity from periods of activity or from a consciousness not in the material plane.

11. An entity is not thus influenced because of being born under a certain star, or because the sun or the moon or any of the phases of the zodiac might indicate such and such manner of life. For, remember, the injunction and the promise was that all were made for that manner through which the soul, the pattern of the Creative Force, might make itself equal with God; not robbing Him of power, might or love, but manifesting the same in the dealings with the fellow men in appreciation of that birthright to every soul; that all souls might know themselves to be themselves and yet one with that Creative Force - God.

12. Astrologically, then - we find Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, Saturn and Mars as those influences in the experience of the entity; because of an awarenesses in that environ through which man in his search for God has found many of the answers to his questionings - by seeing, viewing, analyzing patterns of those who manifest such virtues that arise from that environ.

13. For, each entity, each soul, each activity or expression of God, separated from Him has that of good and bad latent within self.

14. In Mercury, then, we find the high mental abilities of the entity, and the quick adapting of self not only to

2409-1 Page 3

environs but to propositions or to any relationships with others; the ability to see, comprehend, understand their latent as well as manifested purposes.

15. We find in Venus the love of the beautiful, the love of home and the building of same; not only as an experience within self but the watching, the analyzing, the unfolding in the lives of those about the entity as to that which becomes the motivative influence in their experiences. Thus we find the more benevolent influences are under and with those things pertaining to the home environ; also those influences in which there have been opportunities for the breaking of faith, through the very beauty of same.

16. In Jupiter we find the universal consciousness, the adaptability to things as well as to groups and masses. Hence we will find the greater activities of the entity in the material plane will be with groups, but having individual application - as in the interests in education, in the activities that build home and its environs. And, as will be indicated by the experience of the entity in the material sojourns, if this interest and application will be kept ever in that way of seeking not merely material gains but the purpose first and foremost that such associations may be of a constructive nature in the experience of such groups and such individuals, we will find the entity being successful in all of its undertakings. Not that headaches, not that disturbing forces do not arise, but that IN that influence the entity has the ability to EVER hold the thought (and should) of constructive forces for the home building, rather than for material gains only for self.

17. For, know - as is the divine, the spiritual law - MAN may plan, man may sow the seed, but only GOD can and does give the increase.

18. So in thy dealings with thy fellow men, let those purposes ever be such that ye may meet them face to face always and know that thou hast taken thought of others.

19. We find in Saturn the changes that have appeared in this present experience.

20. Also in Mars we find where madness and anger have at times wrought DEFINITE changes. These the entity has in a measure conquered. There ARE some loopholes that need mending.

21. As to the sojourns in the earth - these find expression through the emotions of the body; though for this entity these have not the influence that the spiritual life and the mental activities have brought into its experience. But these may be indicated as part of the experience, showing why there are certain urges latent and manifested in the

2409-1 Page 4

present - as indicated in the first principle - and what the entity has done, may do, about such urges - here, now; as to its ideals, as to its hopes, as to its material relationships - and what may be expected as the results in same.

22. Before this, then, we find the entity's activities were in the land of the present nativity, following those turmoils which made for the scattering of the settlers in the Dearborn area.

23. The entity was among those who fled not towards safety to the south and the east, but to the lands of the present nativity. THERE the entity grew and builded, in the first the desire to help, then in establishing relationships with the natives; in gentleness, in kindness, in patience; not merely for self-preservation but as an announced purpose and desire. Thus the opportunities were brought to gain the best from THEIR activities, and to give of self in what today would be called educational activities.

24. Thus we find these apparent in the present experiences of the entity:

25. If the entity sets out to make certain individuals his friends, few there be with whom he will not accomplish same, - no matter what their station in life may be!

26. The entity is a good conversationalist; hence an awfully good listener; condemning few, manifesting interest in others and their problems - especially if pertaining to the home or its environs, or its improvements, or such natures.

27. The name then was Horace Manley. In the experience the entity gained, as may be indicated - for OTHERS came first, in the entity's principles, its desires, its hopes.

28. Before that the entity was in the Norse land, or in what is now near to Oslo. 29, The entity was among those who were of the CREATIVE natures; building those things pertaining to the greater conveniences in relation to the home, in relation to the association, in relation to means and manners of travel, as well as of communication and those activities pertaining to same.

30. Thus in the present we find that things of the natures that supply these in the lives and experiences of others will offer the outlet for the entity's manifestation of those abilities, or those virtues within the self, as to the greater opportunities of finding contentment in its dealings with others.

31. Thus we find that experience was again one in which the activities were of constructive natures in the measures of

2409-1 Page 5

faith, yet dealt to others and to self in a very practical way and manner.

32. In those activities the entity gained. The faults were only that these were applied mostly to self and self's own kinsmen.

33. Hence in the present we find a latent urge manifested in self to be acquainted with the greater forces of family life, as well as of groups, and there is the inclination in just the opposite direction to combine the efforts with those who have founded same upon a family tradition.

34. The name then was Joseph Osen. [Aasen? or Olsen?]

35. Before that the entity was in the Arabian and Persian land, when there were those activities from the "city of gold" as well as from the Indian and the Egyptian lands and the areas traversed; that is, when there was the establishing of trade routes.

36. The entity was among the nomads who, with those developments of the activities in the "city in the hills" BECAME associated with the leaders of the trade - who are today also associates of the entity.

37. The trading then was in the household necessities; foods and raiment, and those things pertaining to the activities of various groups in their tradings with those who were in the position to create needs or supply same in other lands.

38. Hence we find in the present that activities pertaining to such are of especial interest to the entity. In most of the lands through which of the entity travels, or with which it becomes associated, the entity comprehends what that section of the country produces that adds to the constructive forces in the experiences of mankind as a whole.

39. The name then was Psha Abbede. In the experience the entity gained, the entity lost. When those activities arose to such measures that there was the realization of the power and control over others, the entity used that power in a selfish way and manner.

40. In the present beware of such; that there be NOT those self-condemnations arising again, as in that experience, through such activities.

41. Before that the entity was in the Egyptian land, in the periods of the reestablishing ofthose activities; when there had been the turmoils and the attempts to unify the activities of other lands for a better coordination and cooperation.

42. The entity was in those positions where there was the teaching of others - the young, as well as those of different faiths - as to the manners in which their

2409-1 Page 6

relationships with others might be established.

43. In the present we find from that experience that the entity is often by others called one that is quite diplomatic.

44. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, then, and that to which it may attain, and how:

45. The field of greater service, as we have indicated, lies in those things or activities where there is the supplying of commodities that lend to the comfort, the welfare and the education.

46. How? In keeping (as the more often is the entity's ideal) a constructive influence in the experiences, in the homes of those with whom such activities bring not only the actual physical dealings but the patterns of whatever may be chosen.

47. Do not oversell nor praise where it might bring merely incomes for self or for associates. Consider rather each situation as if you were in the same position as the other individual, and as to what YOUR desire would be respecting same - as ye know through thy study of the varied conditions in the states, groups, certain environments; and there needs then be that which will within itself and in its use bring the better, the greater influence towards the spiritual and mental development of such. Apply that in their relationships.

48. First, then, keep thy FAITH in thy Lord! Know in Whom ye have believed, and whether He is able to keep that ye commit unto Him against ANY experience!

49. Then, know thy ideal; not as to what ye would like others to be, but what ye would be YOURSELF to others - that they might be the same to thee!

50. Remember - in thy relationships to others - the RULE does not alter. Ye are forgiven from on High, as ye forgive others.

51. Hence that injunction - deal with others as with thyself; for with what measure ye mete it is measured to thee again.

52. Ready for questions.

53. (Q) Am I in the type of work that is best suited for my preparation and nature? (A) WELL - if it is applied in the manners indicated.

54. (Q) In what field of endeavor am I most likely to succeed financially? (A) Read what has been given here, and leave off "financially." Let the financial be the result of honest, sincere desire to be and to live so that OTHERS may know the way also. GOD giveth the increase.

2409-1 Page 7

55. (Q) Are my present employers those with whom I should permanently associate? (A) The original were thy employers before. You find them quite hard to deal with at times; DRIVING, as it were, yet even thine own service has softened them much. Very well - for both.

56. (Q) Are there any disturbing factors in my business associations? (A) Of the nature as indicated are the only ones we find.

57. (Q) Are my investments properly made? (A) Analyze them in those manners and ways that have been here pointed out. These will prove the way to judge same. If they are for increase only, without honest service given, you'd better change them. If they are those that God Himself may smile upon, invest all the more!

58. (Q) Is my desire to accumulate wealth in order to render service to humanity a laudable one? (A) A laudable one; but do not put the cart before the horse! For, if one cannot render service though his income will barely keep body and soul together, even if it were tripled or multiplied by a million he would not do any better! Thus - use, practice that ye profess to preach.
