1. HLC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body, [2430].

3. As we find, in many respects conditions are very well in the general physical forces of this body. But there are those specific conditions which arise from a general weakness, localized in the system through those conditions arising from the cold that first weakened the body.

4. Then, with neglect, a catarrhal condition developed that has affected the sensory forces; especially the Eustachian tubes - the hearing, the eyes, and the throat at times.

5. These as we find are the areas most affected; though a general disturbance that spreads from same at times causes inconveniences for the body.

6. We find that lesions have formed along the Eustachian tubes. If the body would take the time to have the specific applications to remove these through osteopathic finger surgery, and then sufficient rest, with the continued treatments to eliminate and prevent further adherence or adhesions, we would gain a great deal of benefit to the hearing, to the vision, and to those conditions arising in the digestive forces FROM the effects of these poisons in the system that undo, or make a tendency towards a bad metabolism.

7. As we find, the one that would be BETTER for this would be such as Richardson in Norfolk, Virginia. True, there are many others that may do well, but if the body would gain the best, and cut down those disturbances that are continuing to cause the inflammation to the sensory forces, it needs the rest, as well as the change in environ and surroundings.

8. Do that.

9. Ready for questions.

10. (Q) What is the condition of the blood supply and the various organs of the body? (A) As indicated, these suffer from the toxic forces that are produced upon the blood supply by the effect of these poisons being absorbed, as well as becoming activative upon the digestive fluids at times.

11. (Q) How often should the finger surgery treatments be given? (A) There would be first the preparation for same, and then the FIRST operative measures, and then the periods sufficient for the rest of the treatments of a general as well as of a specific nature. These would require, of course, at least two periods of about three to four weeks each.

12. (Q) That would be including the rest period? (A) That IS the rest period!

13. (Q) Any suggestion for diet during the period of treatments? (A) This would be better outlined by the one making the applications. For, this should be changed to an ELIMINATING diet, you see. Do these, if we would bring the better conditions for this body.

14. We are through for the present. Two copies to Son (one to be sent to Dr. M. L. Richardson, Bankers Trust Bldg., Norfolk, Va., when arranging for the course of treatments as outlined) Copy to Mr. [257] " " Ass'n file
